I recently heard Jinkx* say that she accepted that she'll probably never see Trixie's level of success (especially musically) and it made me so sad. She is one of the best performers to be featured on Drag Race and she's so loved in the community. She deserves the world!

I own her "The Inevitable Album" and really enjoy it. "Creep" is on it along with an eclectic bunch of songs. Her musicianship is obvious. Not your average drag queen music offering.
Not gonna lie... Trixie and Jinx are actually both truly beautiful in drag. Their finished look is always a 10 out of 10.

OMG I so relate to Jinx not feeling "trans enough" to proclaim a new gender. I knew I was trans at the age of 8 but, because I never felt the need to get surgery, I worried that didn't make me trans enough so didn't come out fully until just a few months ago (I'm 32!)
If you don’t want to change your body then why do you even think you are trans?

you dont need to change anything about yourself to be trans if you dont want to or are unable to or whatever. its all abt your identity so you are totally valid in however you present
@@umwhabecause the issue isn't the body, it's how others act about it. If trans folks were treated properly, many wouldn't choose to change their bodies because surgery is serious business and if one can learn to live with the body they have, even partially, it's far safer in the long run for health.
It's the cruelty and maltreatment and stress from being treated as an other/pariah that causes a lot of people who can live with the bodies they have to have to go that route for harm reduction.

Jinx came to my tiny town in the middle of England to perform and it just honestly meant the most. She did an interview saying how she felt it was important coming to smaller towns with little to no lgbtq scene and I can’t tell you how much it meant to us

I can totally relate to Jinkx's story. I always felt like I didn't fit into the gender binary but never really knew what to call myself. I was also too scared to really let it show because I got teased and bullied bad as a kid. Now that I'm 44 I'm fully out and starting to play around with my gender presentation more.
