    Sounds great. Another option for bass guitar is always welcome on iOS so hope it finds its way there eventually.

      It will be dude. It’s coming. I don’t have a time frame but it’s on the way, as are all the amps sims plus updated versions of mammoth and rhino.

    Really nice demo, Jamie. I have Mammoth on iOS and I like it a lot. I'm slowly shifting towards Mac and the difference in price of the plugins can be shock to say the least. I may find myself jumping between the operating systems for some time to come. I've come to realise how spoiled we are on iOS.

      We most definitely are my friend. The problem with iOS is that we are missing some vital pro level apps, and the companies that make them are not interested in porting to the platform yet. They look at the amount of people buying iOS music apps and the amount that they are used to paying for apps and it just doesn’t look worthwhile. I don’t know how the few developers that actually do iOS music software full time manage to earn enough to survive. When you see how the community responds when something costs more than £10 the future of the platform for serious music making is questionable. These days I really enjoy mixing it up between desktop and iOS. If Cubase had Ableton Link I’d be in heaven. By the way, your Songtember track was very cool. I enjoyed it very much. It was really different man, and cool.

      @@JamieMallender Yeah, I can see myself jumping between the two for sure. As much as I'd like to have everything I like on both platforms, it's just not possible. Thanks very much. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. It's nice to attempt something a bit different from time to time.

    Awesome that’s an honor to be chosen for patches. Any chance it’s coming to iOS, it sounds like it fits right in with Mammoth and Rhino.

      Thank you for watching Christopher! It does indeed fit in nicely. Aurora DSP are just putting something technical I don’t understand in place to make it easier for them to transfer their software to iOS and then we’ll get all the sims and updated versions of Rhino and Mammoth.

    Can’t wait for Gorilla to show up on my iPad.. Looks like a very powerful tone-shaping beast.. Your demo sounded great Jamie.. Thanks..
    So Gorilla has 4 IRs loaded + ready to use.. seems like your iPad wasn’t melting with those options.. and you don’t have to have 4 IRs loaded.. you could just use 1 or 2.. that way the CPU wouldn’t be working too hard.. Your thoughts + experience on that Jamie?

    • @JamieMallender
      @JamieMallender  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching dude! The 4 are permanently loaded unless you switch them out for your own. It doesn’t take much cpu at all. I haven’t seen the iPad version yet but, I’m really looking forward to it.

    What would you say are the differences between gorilla and mammoth?

    • @JamieMallender
      @JamieMallender  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gorilla is more like a regular Amp sound but with a lot of versatility. Mammoth has more grind to it. The tone is much more angry/extreme. Although both can clean up and both can get nasty - the driven tone of mammoth is for more aggressive stuff.

    Hello, Jamie! Do you know how to remove clicks and pops within a vocal recording in Cubasis 3?

    • @JamieMallender
      @JamieMallender  ปีที่แล้ว

      If it’s happening at the same time as the vocal you can’t. But if it’s like either side of a vocal take I can show you how to do that.
