There’s a “secret sauce” “mammoth” control in the center behind the skull (not sure why they decided to hide their key feature) that does something to the high end/presence. It’s ok, Glenn Fricker missed it too
So glad to see this one here. I have acquired my suite (plugin + standalone) for contributing to their fundraiser, and I have no regrets. Also, that logo of Mammoth contains another hidden control, but I forgot what it does.
Either this, or the Sphene Pro . Both are extremely awesome bass processing blugins. I switch between them from mix to mix. Better than Neural Dsps Darkglass emulation - in my ears
Resizing the ui requires planning but isn't crazy difficult to do, the benefit is it fits different screen resolutions comfortably and maintains good relative sizing for the controls. This is a pretty sick plugin.
Look's good but I'm still a Boss GT6B guy. I get a flip top, SVT, Bass Man, SWR, Trace Elliot an Acoustic 360 in it along with a clean and effectected XLR input to send to a PA and stereo quarter inch inputs which I''ve used to send to two seperate bass amps. Nothing else since this unit can do all that and give you the full gamut of Boss bass effects...I think I'd use the Mammoth and come up with one master sound and pray I could save it. Nothing worse than constantly trying to dial in a good tone.
@@Makron220 I've tried Cakewalk before, got it with my itnerface. Somehow I couldn't really get used to it so I switched to Mixcraft...easy to use but hell when it comes to supporting plugins sometimes.
I’ve noticed most of his bass videos aren’t the greatest... I own the Orange AD200 and Terror bass, both sound amazing but his demos manage to make em sound horrid, thin and clanky. Not sure if it’s the bass he uses, the post processing or what
@@AlexhPDX also i think it has become somewhat of a trend to have such a destroyed and presence-less sound in the bass in recent years mainly in those trash metal sub-genres like djent or math-core or shit like that

That tone is actually really nice!

As far as I remember, it adds "clank" :D
My go to for bass tones for years, great plugin 🤘🏼
Check the Mammoth control as well, it’s really cool! Kinda fits the bass more into the mix

*Plugins.. what was going on there lol

Great tones!
Great plugin , love the first sound off the bat
This shit is better than Parallax! So much controll omg
Very well done I own this and it is wonderful kick ass job.
Did you have a fan running with a bad bearing?
I do love the distortion sounds there. Just nasty.
You could do a great bass cover of "peace sells" by Megadeth with alligator.
I do struggle with heavy bass tone..
All of these gear demos utilising this VST are very much a guitar-player's idea of a good bass tone.
Sounds really good! gj
Neato Righto 👍Is it official yet that "plugins" have taken over?? Makes my melenial brain go farty 😚
the spelling of millennial too ;) :

No not even close.

Super helpful thanks!
OMG, I love that song section @11:00. I stopped watching and started banging my head lol
Great Job. Subcribed 💻💪
2020 and it's still so rare that the GUI is adjustable in size. Some companies are still unreadable on 4k screens :D
Tnx alot, is this plugin useful for synth basses?
Sweet! I can get this on my phone!

I had a GT6B four years ago and I sold it because it had more features than I needed...but it's a high quality piece of gear
Nice song!
9:38 is that you music? where can listen to it? that riffs is massive!
OK I just reach the end of the video. I guess I am one of those ppl....
The bass with the low end all the way up sounds like it’s in slow motion. 😆
You forgot the MAMMOTH part of the plugin...
I really have to start looking for a new DAW that supports these plugins instead of using my crappy Amplitube effects...
Reaper is good and free to try
Cakewalk. It's free and full of content.
@@sqlb3rn Reaper is first on my list to check out. I saw it in action at a friend's place and it looks great for a free DAW.

@@NeiloNeil There is a new free version from BandLab if you did not know. There is also a free DAW called Ardour, but I have no experience with it.
Trey HAA-VEE-YEH
haha not if you're Irish Catholic from Boston
I like it way more than Parallax.
10:05 Oh... okay...
Bro what is squeaking in your studio? It’s so loud on headphones!
massive trebble tones. wheres the bass?
the best bass sound is without bass sound..
Bass is supposed to have low end. "Djent God" was the only thing there that had any bass.
@@DerSilvano no.
Rhino....

I agree with you. Crappiest bass sound I've ever heard. Like a cheap software distortion mangled worse. Snake oil plugin.
Notes aren’t dynamic. Same crashing character up and down fretboard
