The spring didn’t shrank,you just need to tighten the oversized spring nut in the left where the shock conects to the rear triangle I like your content,keep it up
Yeah, I got this shock a couple months back. It's awesome, but just like you found out... It was overpressurized when I got it, so it was super stiff. After adjusting the air level, it's been a very durable shock and worth every penny I paid for it.

It's a little more smoother that what I thought. I will try to destroy this within 30 days if it breaks I'll just return it to Amazon. If not. I guess I'll keep it until I get enough money to get a real shock :)

The amazon people sent the wrong one ( 190 mm instead of the 165 mm ) so I have to return it and re order one but as soon as I get it , I'll let you know .

Uh... the spring didn't shrink it looks like your preload adjustment lock nut came loose and you just needed to tighten it up a little bit and I wonder if you even adjusted preload from the beginning. The shock shouldn't have come with any air in it at all. the fact that it was pumped up to 190 reveals that the people who assemble that shock have no idea what they're doing. This is probably one of the reasons why these DNM shocks constantly blow out the seals because they're over inflated from the factory. Also those base numbers are just that they're just based numbers you don't set them at 150 and 50 and then forget about them. You'll need to adjust the positive and negative pressure is based on the amount of sag you desire how much preload you want to put on the air spring. it's pretty clear that you do not understand sag and you do not understand rebound settings I highly recommend you read up on what they do and how you should set your shock you will get a much better riding experience out of a properly set up suspension. Also I guarantee you that KS coil spring shock is nearly as good as that air shock the only difference being the air shock is much lighter. That 36 model is the low-end entry level of DNM air shock line. It's not a very good damper.

The original shock was 188 to 44 I think and The dnm shock that i have is 190x50mm you need to measure your shock eye to eye, but i think you should go large

Sweet bike.. but you have to adjust the pressure to adjust the sag on it. With the old one you needed to adjust the coil

The shock shouldn't have come with any air in it at all. the fact that it was pumped up to 190 reveals that the people who assemble that shock have no idea what they're doing. You'll need to adjust the positive and negative pressure is based on the amount of sag you desire how much preload you want to put on the air spring. it's pretty clear that you do not understand sag and you do not understand rebound settings I highly recommend you read up on what they do and how you should set your shock you will get a much better riding experience out of a properly set up suspension.
Also I guarantee you that KS coil spring shock is nearly as good as that air shock the only difference being the air shock is much lighter. That 36 model is the low-end entry level of DNM air shock line. It's not a very good damper.
