Your ability to pick out a dimension like 2.85" on a fractional tape measure always makes me smile. Also, it's so dumb that I can carry a concealed firearm that shoots lots of objects but a knife that shoots one blade is a no-no
I agree with ya. I think they should have just made a mini swordfish and offer interchangeable blades and inlays. Remette really missed out on that opportunity
I get all of your criticisms, but at the same time, I think this one looks way cooler. Also, if I remember correctly, the swordfish was on sale when it was initially released (obviously, I still wish the price was lower).
Got my Excalibur today. Haven't had a chance to carry it yet so this is just an unboxing : ) Love the way it feels in hand and the detent is fantastic. The blade was centered perfectly and great access to the lock bar. I like the look of the pocket clip but I agree it's to tight and crazy sharp. Looking forward to carrying it and I will comment again in about a week. So far it looks like a winner that you and Kunwu produced.
I was watching this dude from Germany. He does crossbows mostly, but he's got this wicked folding axe prototype you can quickly deploy. 14c28n steel. Fox knives. Looks like a Midgards Messer collab. Might be something you would be interested in.
Well, they still sell the swordfish, it’s not „gone“. I don’t mind them trying different form factors. I like the new one better 🤷♂️. But modular blades in different shapes are a neat idea! Maybe Kunwu should do a gravity knife 😉
Probably a silly question, but the identity of the bottom left, 3rd from right in your intro screen...the blue and black handled knife. Any possible help identifying it? Many thanks!!
I just got the reate EXO in Elmax for Christmas. I love it I def am curious about other gravity knives ... I'm curious about everything tho .... Long story short I NEED WAY MORE KNIVES!!!
Maybe it’s me but I never quite understood the purpose/practicality of a gravity knife. Don’t get me wrong, they’re cool but I guess I just don’t get it. I also don’t understand why this would be illegal. Please feel free to enlighten me if I’m missing something obvious.
It’s you. 😂 But seriously, the practicality is questionable. Just like the practicality of an automatic knife. Sometimes practicality doesn’t need to enter the equation. Sometimes a fun and different type of knife is nice to have.
@ yeah, I didn’t think I was missing anything. Even MC listed nothing but negatives. To each their own. I’ll tell you one thing, they are in no danger of selling me one of these.
@ one thing I forgot to mention is that automatics definitely serve a purpose and have a demographic that they make sense for. The people without the hand strength or dexterity can just push a button and there’s your blade. Same with the assisted openings.
These are being shipped by Kunwu in China. They are down to the last batch so yours is likely not shipped yet but will be soon. You'll receive tracking in an email once yours ships. You might already have it. Search "Kunwu Crew" or "KunwuCrew" in your email.
Your thought process: "Ah yes this is a knife review, for knife people, clearly they need to know that for this price I would get a Hi-point" mf u on the wrong channel

They really missed an opportunity by not calling it a "spring-wing, gravity thing", that name goes so hard! 😂
Yeah ima boost this comment to hopefully get the next model to land that name.
came to the comments immedietely after he said it

I just went back and watched the original swordfish review. It was 278 dollars. The base model for the swordfish is still 278 dollars.
You're correct. I don't know what i was thinking

Mc, it would be super interesting to see a poll on how many people prefer heavy knives or lightweight knives.
I get all of your criticisms, but at the same time, I think this one looks way cooler. Also, if I remember correctly, the swordfish was on sale when it was initially released (obviously, I still wish the price was lower).
Man… You raised a whole load of points that I completely missed! Thank you.
Won’t bother with this one and probably get another Swordfish instead 👍🏾
Because I know remette listens to its buyers and knife enthusiast so hopefully they will do all those things
I like this version way more than the original version. It's me, I'm the target audience for this. Mine gets delivered today.
I really like it too (and want one). My one complaint would be the body is a little busy. Not a dealbreaker though.
new knife days are the best days. congrats!
I like my Reate Exo’s Better as far as a Gravity Knife Goes!

Jorge Sprave. MC knows of him. I believe he's held some of his collabs with MM. I love the guy.
I love this knife ❤
I just bought the DLC coated M390 version. Even though I don't "need" another one, I'll probably have to buy all the different versions available.
Very cool. I would feel more comfortable with a gravity knife in my pocket than an OTF.
I like this so much better than the Reate exo. Looks worlds better and the mechanism is a lot more useable.
It would be nice to see a full size leopard why so small with this one?

The benchmade mini crooked river?
Is there any solid gravity knife under $100?

Does anyone make a California legal gravity knife?
A broader blade and handle would have been nice
They do have carbon fiber (original) and copper carbon fiber Damascus inlays now I swapped mine out.

@@mikeD1234 True. But that argument could be made for many gravity knives that are push buttons. The Reate Exo takes a bit of dexterity to operate.
@ there we go, we found one.
RT Swordfish price is very reasonable. Metal Complex gives the RT Swordfish a favorable review. RT Swordfish price goes way up. Cause and effect?
It's a heavy boy.
Hey Richard, I ordered one of your MC Excalibur. I haven't heard any news on a shipping date. Can you give me a update? Thanks

$250 I can buy a gun for that and get springs.
The gun doesn’t cut.
How is it 2025 and people still leave this comment thinking it's a "mic drop" moment? Lol.
$250 will also buy me roughly 150 tacos. What's your point?

Now you have me thinking about the episode of futurama when Fry won the $99 and bought 99 cups of coffee consecutively. ☕️
I'm unusually early.
Swordfish is better.
