I love my Hurricanes. It took me a minute to get used to the 6mm drop as my Brooks were both 10mm, but it allows me to run better with mid-foot striking. Curious to see how it'll work in rain (PNW resident here) but I really love these things.
For casual use, what is better for your feet, a shoe with as much cushioning as possible to feel on a cloud or as little cushioning as possible to get better ground feel?
Im no foot doctor but i remeber him talking about recovery, its not good to have really cushy shoes because you muscles have to stabilize youself because there too cushy
Honestly I'd go for a decent middle ground, least in my experience. Too much cushion and the instability can be a pain, and too little can be painful and even downright damaging to your feet or knees. I'm a very narrow foot guy though so might not be the same experience but hope that helps
Interesting question. I have the Hoka's Clifton 9's (which have a lot of cushioning) and I prefer a more lower to the ground feel for casual use. I only use my Hoka's for long distance walking/running or travelling.
Hey Foot Doctor, what about a review on the Under Armour "Curry Hovr Splash 3"??? I bought a pair about a year ago and saw them in Ross recently and bought multiple pairs. There are so comfortable, and I can't figure out why Lol. A lot of my hip and groin pain is almost gone.
honestly ive tried these and prefer the rebel v4s. if you want really max cushioning though you don't get more comfortable than the new balance more v5s. they're like a 1080 on steroids

Best to mix it up.

How does this compare with that NB More V5? They seem a bit similar to me on the surface
most comfortable shoes for me is still my NB 1080.

I has the Nimbus 25...dam comfy!
This is most clunky shoe i ever owned.
As a strictly trail runner myself, seeing you running through the parking lot of your storage facility made me cringe lol
