That is the moment that I can describe with Villanelle's dialog with K. - Don't break my heart. - Don't break mine. The finale blew me away. It just BLEW me away damn! I can understand V. She's broken. She loves Eve. Yes, she is a psychopath and her form of "love" is really messy. But she loves how she can. And she did a lot for Eve, especially this season, and now she's scared and disappointed cuz she really thought Eve was special. However, I understand Eve, too. She's just killed somebody. She's scared of her feelings towards someone like Villanelle. And I can get her. Moreover, she's scared because with V she's not that perfect good Eve, she's what/who she's in real. Villanelle exposes her. Eve is scared of herself, besides she just understood that Villanelle wanted her to kill that guy, it was kinda manipulation as well. Eve loves V, no doubts, but finally she has started to understand that V is a psychopath, she's different but like her in the same time. So Eve is scared and disappointed in the same time as well. She denies the fact that Villanelle loves her because love is another reason to stay and right now she's broken. V shots Eve because she's scared of loosing her and as a psychopath and an assassin that's the only way out she sees, I guess. Anyway, I'm sure Eve's alive, she could use that technique that Hugo used cuz I don't see why else they showed us Hugo and that moment. I don't know how am I gonna wait a YEAR but next season will be HUGE. Neither Eve, nor V are the same they used to be before their meeting, they are obsessed with each other. Of course Eve will try to establish her "normal" life again but it's not for her any more. I can't wait to see their next meeting after everything that has happened. More to come! P.S. Just analyzing it: V thinks all of her family are dead, K says "most of them" (if the show- runners don't want to develope this line, what this dialog was for). Moreover, after that V asks something like "What do you mean by "most of them" and after it K changes the topic really FAST. So, yeah, I guess, it was a signal that we'll have more of Villanelle's past and it makes sense. I really wanna know what happened to her, why she became who she became. Come on, she's a psychopath. In the same time she's so complex that I adore her.
Eve is definantly not dead. You can see the blood coming from her stomach at the end with the birds eye view shot. its in the same place that Eve stabbed Villanelle which surely has some meaning to it. V took it as a gesture of love when Eve stabbed her "She did it to show me how much cares". I think V shooting Eve, she had the same mentality, as an act of love, which I kind of get, like when Eve trashes the V's apartment because she liked her so much. V didn't find joy in it either, unlike after most of her kills, shes not smiling after, even walking away. I agree I think she does understand love, in a twisted unusual way sometimes. She also probably doesn't know how to deal with it, resulting in her obsessions and stalking Eve etc. Eve's love is something she doesn't have control over, maybe why she said "you are mine" because again she doesn't understand. Her face went very hostile after Eve leaving and feelings of rejection and anger could have played a part in her actions, shooting Eve. Again though, in her own words "love can make you do crazy things". I absolutely adore Villanelle either way! I dont think they would be able to runaway and live a life together however without drama. 3:07 is such good acting by Jodie! I mean obviously it all is, but like you can see Villanelle being confused and getting angry that Eve is "ruining it", and yet we see her psychotic side as she flips out of this and tries to stay calm and composed because she doesn't want to fight with Eve, truly incredible acting by Jodie!
Really good acting by Sandra, being subdue and ambivalent about her obsession/ fantasy with Jodie's Villanelle; to toned down and let Jodie's character be the dominant one but at the same time be confrontational, saying no to a psychopath. Both gifted actresses
My fave moment is the look back at Raymond's body, the smile and the way Villanelle's face falls into Eve's hair. What an actress. So proud of our scouse girl!

I also do love that final scene in season 2 she’s so desperately wants Eve to go along with her plan and start a life together only to be denied ! S3 is going to have much more ruthless kills from Villanelle as she deals with her heart being broken by Eve. You could see the disappointment in her eyes as well when Eve said she thinks she would kill her.
Remember the kitchen reunion? Eve was cocky enough to think Villanelle would never kill her. How wrong was she? The kills this season lacked that sadism, pride and arrogance to them that brought V to the dance.

Villanelle really does love Eve. And Eve loves her too she just hasn't fully accepted or processed it yet. They both care for each other so much. They have one of the best full chemistry relationships. So excited for season 3 to see them blossom even further.
I started watching this episode not knowing it's the final of this season and I was like, woah, so many things happening... And then the end! I was on the edge of my seat all the time...
Of course she's scared to death. And she should be. After Villanelle tricked her into making her 1st kill(When V could've shot Raymond herself at anytime), Eve couldn't trust her anymore. Plus for dumping Villanelle, she shot her demonstrating to Eve she can and will kill her as well settling the score for the Paris stabbing.
There will be no happy ending for these two...only stolen moments of clarity within chaos-So many layers to their onions 🧅 But, like a car crash, we CANNOT look away... Villanelle: I think my monster encourages your monster, right? Eve: I think I wanted it to.
Villanelle needs to be stop , its great fortune that eve lapse in judgment as horrible as it was killing Raymond was the catalyst to redeeming her. Someone must stand for justice ,to do what is right and be the bulwark to villanelle evil bc if unchecked bodies will be strewn left and right on the streets in villanelle,s wake. Eve will put aside her fascination of villanelle for the sake of justice no matter how bitter the pill she must swallow ,not intentionally to kill her being the very last resort I imagine but to subdue her and let justice takes its course .
Such an enticing game of cat and mouse going on between Villanelle and Eve. The only question is, who is the cat, and who is the mouse? At the end of season 1, Eve stabs Villanelle. At the end of season 2, Villanelle shoots Eve. What next in season 3? Man this show has gotten me hooked😇
this made me re-evaluate how by attacking raymond, villanelle technically risked her own life for eve. i know v had a gun but raymond was quite strong and could’ve killed her. if eve didn’t use the axe on him villanelle could’ve died but she was willing to risk it just for eve and that i think is rather special since she’s a psychopathic/sociopathic assassin.

S3 is going to have much more ruthless kills from Villanelle as she deals with her heart being broken by Eve. You could see the disappointment in her eyes as well when Eve said she thinks she would kill her.
Remember the kitchen reunion? Eve was cocky enough to think Villanelle would never kill her. How wrong was she? The kills this season lacked that sadism, pride and arrogance to them that brought V to the dance.

Villanelle really does love Eve. And Eve loves her too she just hasn't fully accepted or processed it yet. They both care for each other so much. They have one of the best full chemistry relationships. So excited for season 3 to see them blossom even further.

Of course she's scared to death. And she should be. After Villanelle tricked her into making her 1st kill(When V could've shot Raymond herself at anytime), Eve couldn't trust her anymore. Plus for dumping Villanelle, she shot her demonstrating to Eve she can and will kill her as well settling the score for the Paris stabbing.
There will be no happy ending for these two...only stolen moments of clarity within chaos-So many layers to their onions 🧅

this made me re-evaluate how by attacking raymond, villanelle technically risked her own life for eve. i know v had a gun but raymond was quite strong and could’ve killed her. if eve didn’t use the axe on him villanelle could’ve died but she was willing to risk it just for eve and that i think is rather special since she’s a psychopathic/sociopathic assassin.
