Man 1 escapes after a battle with man 2 (empty gun+ gun wound) and comes to this diner that is isolated and where nothing is around, to hide and rest. He pretends that everything is normal. Man 2 finds him afterwards and subtley threatens to kill him without anyone noticing. Man 2 goes away, waits close by for man 1 to get outside. Man 1 knows he is going to die and leaves the money to Marcy, that was kind enough to offer him a brownie on the house. He goes outside and sees his killer. That's why the title is literally The 'Last' Bite...he dies after that last bite. Hope now people that had a hard time will get it 😊
and then Marcy is just Villanelle in disguise targeting to kill man 2 after man 2 killed man 1. And this is her sideline when she's not working under the organization.

He pretends that everything is normal. Man 2, dressed sharply in a suit and tie, enters. He makes everyone around him uneasy. He is Death in human form. The weird, supernatural feel of the whole thing is why Marcy doesn't think to offer to call a doctor for a guy who clearly needs one.
God both of their american accents are amazing. I mean we all knew he had it in him from Supergirl but we just learned from her and kiling eve. She is one of the best actresses i've seen in a long time. BAFTA well deserved.
What a natural talent Jodie has. She knows things about characterisation that simply can't be taught. And her timing?! Great comedy is all about timing. I nominate myself as her Nana Scotland. She's a rerr wee lassie.🙋👍😘

"molotov girl" ... she's been hitting the gym in preparation for a main supporting roll in "Free Guy" which is an action comedy set in cyberspace - where a bunch of videogame NPCs try to stop their server from being shut down (something like that!) It'll probably suck - most of it ... Jodie won't though, that much is certain.

bujin1977 Thirteen was also a GREAT role. But the show overall was really dark so I could only watch it once. I’ve seen MMFD and White Princess more than once. White Princess isn’t exactly a walk in the park but it’s a little more removed from our current reality than Thirteen. Haha.
@@Alevermor I've not seen either. Not particularly interested in MMFD. I do want to see White Princess, though, as I'm quite interested in history, especially 15th century history. Unfortunately it's only available on Starz which is an added expense on top of an Amazon Prime subscription, so it will have to wait!
snebleh66 Good film shorts are different from normal length films in that they tend to be more thought provoking. Who was that man? Was he there to kill him? Had he been shot already? Did he know he was going to die anyway or was that man there going to finish the job? Was the money left by accident or was it a tip for the waitress? What had the man done to deserve to die? He seemed really nice. Well that's what I got anyway. I like short films because they don't always tie up the loose ends.
