    My 88 year old father and I were there with Ambulance Wens. It really was an awesome day and my dad had the time of his life! The volunteers from ambulance Wens and F1 did all they could to make this day even better!

    Hey, thankyou so much for covering this story. My grand dad passed away 2 weeks ago and one of his last wishes was to go sailing one more time after being a sailing teacher volunteer. The wens ambulance made that come true and gave him a beutiful last moment. Again, thankyou for covering it

      That's lovely. Fair Winds to your granddad. I can't tell you how much I miss sailing when I allow myself to think about it.
      Once you've sailed, it somehow never leaves your body.

    Hi Kym, 2025 is secured, 2026 and further could be a problem. By the way, it were not the Dutch sales that were the problem, but a foreign partner who was not able to sell the tickets (prices?). The Zandvoort organization tried to take over the tickets to sell them here, and Overdijk expected to have a solution, but the result is not clear yet. There are enough Dutch fans who couldn’t get a ticket. I enjoy your vlog.

    Kym, thanks for the great video of real fans getting a last wish type experience. They are the ones deserving of a grid walk. I have a very negative view of “celebrities” getting free tickets and paid to attend. Most don’t follow, understand or care about the sport yet there they are instead of loyal fans. Eliminate those a holes and the sport will be better for it.

    The piece on the patients getting pitlane access was great. I've been watching F1 since the 1980s and really dislike how the grid is now often full of celebrities that have no interest in the sport - so getting some genuine fans in the pitlane is very welcome.

    Thanks for another great video. One small correction regarding the pronunciation of 'stroopwafel'. The 'oo' isn't really correct, you have to pronounce that part like 'strope' (like as 'rope' with 'st' added before). And the 'wafel' part, consider it like saying double 'aa': waavel. So, more like 'stropewaavel' in English. Consider this a challenge for your next video! 😂

    @magnustan841 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Celebrities have been invited to F1 races for a long time, I’m sure even before the US boom / DTS. Likely a combination of jealousy or the desire to see racing fans who “know F1” in that pit lane, sparks that outrage. I’m sure some of those celebrities enjoy the sport, just that maybe they’re not very public about it. A whole load of noise over not much really. We can all see that there and many times more “proper fans” in the grandstands than there are celebrities. Just because they don’t get a close up on F1’s social media channels, doesn’t mean they’re not there…. F1 literally cannot exists without us.

Why do all people today complain about everything and anything... they should take a look in the mirror and not at others.

    Although I have absolute sympathy and reverence for the actions of F1 with this Dreams Foundation this weekend, I just cannot shake the feeling this is but a publicity stunt. This would gain far more support if, say, F1 actually made 1000 tickets available per race to be given away to local race fans (ie, only residents of the host country ) for the upcoming race weekend with a good number of trimmings. Prices for these events is fast becoming accessible to the "elite" only, even in the grand stands while those who can afford it ( who, for most cases, have no incling about nor interest for the sport ) get it for free ....... If there were ever a middle finger to race fans, this is it !
