My grandpa is a guide on the lake. If you were interested in a half day trip he could put you on fish. I could get you his contact info if you are interested
Great Video! Thanks. We are heading up to Big Manistique for the first time September 20. Do you know any local guides we could hire to get an idea on how to fish multi-species? Mostly interested in bass, pike, walleye in that order. Do you guide?
I do not but my grandpa has lived on the lake for 40 years and fishes about 3-4 times a week. He knows the lake better than anyone and does some guide trips. If you are interested PM me on Facebook (Drew Rogers) and I'll send you his number 👍
@@DROutdoors18 Hi Drew. I'd like to talk to your dad about guiding on Big Manistique this September. Couldn't find you on FB. Can you give me an email address?
going up this friday, we have been vacationing for 2 weeks for 6 years and only caught 2 walleye. where do they usually go thistime of year and what shiuld i use?
Find weed beds. Anywhere from 7-11 ft. Bucktail jigs, twister tails, crawler harness or slip bobber with minnow. Walleye bite is super tough in summer. Pike should be abundant though
@@DROutdoors18 update, just got home. i caught a 20 inch and 15 inch walleye but that was it for walleye, only 1 pike and some smallmouth. trying to convince my dad for us to come up this fall
Always a nice surprise when you are walleye fishing and catch a pike! I just caught my first pike and now that is all I want to target! feel free to check it out over on my channel if you want!
thanks for all the info
keep the vids coming man
tight lines
Thanks for the kind words!
Great video 😀
Going to be on the lake for week beginning 9/12. Love tip on outside weed edges, thanks. Any points, Islands, or special areas to consider?
