I'd say half appreciate it, the other half think I'm creating too much fishing pressure. I think people just love fishing and are going to go whether or not I make videos. Thanks for being a supporter Fernando.
Lake of the Woods #1 for sure. I have caught PB's in 5 different species and never entered Canada. I lived there for 17 years in Warroad. And if you have never fished spring or fall on the Rainy River, I highly recommend it, especially if you want a HUGE sturgeon.
I've talked to many people that fish rainy river in the spring, and they say its awesome. I also hear it gets pretty crowded at that time too. I've only fished LOTW on the Canada side so far. I'd love to catch a huge sturgeon though. Thanks for the info.
I've had some fun on the St. Croix. I haven't fished the Mississippi yet, but I've seen plenty of videos of people doing really good there. Thanks for your input.
There are probably more lakes here than I could fish in a lifetime, but I'm going to try. You should see them in the morning when the sun reflects of them all, as I fly over them at 30,000 feet. The ground sparkles as far as you can see.
If you ever get the chance to fish long lake the one off highway 53 and 37 it has horseshoe lake attached to it i highly recommend it i grew up there and I could tell you some stories just dock fishing its a little slower fishing but worth the wait most the time thers Northerns crappie sunfish Bass and I guess theres a few other i never caught
Used to go to Big Sandy Lake as a kid; stayed at a place called Knollwood Resort. We caught lots of pike, perch, and rockbass back then......I hear the lake is getting more known for crappie these days....very cool video! BTW, do you have hats with your logo to sell? Was just wondering, as I like that look! Thanks for the video! ~Lou
Hi Lou. I don't have any for sale right now, but just for being a loyal follower of the channel, I will send you a hat. Send me an email to rande@gomidwestfishing.com with your address, and I will get one out to you.
I was surprised at how good we did fishing there considering how much fishing pressure it gets. That was the big downside of this lake, but the day I was there, we had a good time, so that's why it made my top 10 list. I appreciate the feedback.
Ngl I was surprised to see my town. On here but big stone has stripped big mouth large mouth bass pan fish the damn has Sturgeon it has blue Hill the lake just has all sorts of fish
I have not been to Rainy lake yet. I tried to book a trip for next spring, but the resort is already full, so I'm looking for another Canadian lake right now.
You are definitely on to something with these top 10 lists. Fun to watch and love the way you did the video.
Thanks Titus. I appreciate that. I thought it would get some interest. It actually did way better than I expected!
As a Wisconsin resident I encourage everyone to fish these lakes, especially all you Chicago area people.
Hahahahaha. I feel kinda badly about the windy influence on the badger
Finally something WI and MN agree on.
No FIPs. Thanks.
Yes I'm sure all the Wisconsin resort owners agree
With all the lakes in the area, I’m sure people appreciate these videos, as always great video my Man!

I have never fished in Minnesota. One of these days I will.
Love how you did your Minnesota Lakes in your Packers chair 😁
I'm originally from WI, so that makes it OK to use my packer chair anytime I want 😎. I can't believe you haven't fished MN. You live so close.
Good video! We are going up to voyagers at the end of June then back south to join the rest of the family on Ball Club Lake.
That sounds like an awesome trip. I really loved Voyageurs park. I really want to get up there again. Enjoy your trip!
Thanks for all the great information my friend
You should also include rivers such as St Croix and Mississippi. Both can be fantastic for walleyes in the spring and fall.

I never realized there were so many lakes in Minnasnowta......Only time will tell if you can fish them all!!😎

Awesome. I appreciate the suggestion. I put it on my list of lakes to fish.

What model of Alumacraft boat are you running?
I like the layout
You should go fishing at cedar lake Minnesota
Thanks for the suggestion. Just so I get the right one, is this just south of Prior lake?
One downside of Green Lake in Chisago is it gets pounded by bass tournaments all summer.

You broke out your Green Bay chair for the MM lakes! What gives?? 😂🤣😂 Good list and recaps 👍
I was waiting for someone to notice the Green Bay chair. Somehow I knew it would be you.
You should fish Island lake near Duluth
Been here the walleyes are small but the lake right next to it boulder is good for them
Now do the best creeks to fish!
That's your job. You are the creek expert. Somehow I don't think the trout fishermen would respond kindly to that video.

Awesome. I'm glad you enjoy Big Stone. I know it can be quite good if you hit it at the right time. I didn't do so well, so for me, it wasn't so good.
Saganaga!!
Rainy Lake?
I have not been to Rainy lake yet. I tried to book a trip for next spring, but the resort is already full, so I'm looking for another Canadian lake right now.
Pelican Lake sucks
Yes, I know. You don't want anyone fishing there. Got it.
