Not bad. Some good tension moments. Some cheesy moments. Family friendly and the usual heroic stuff. I haven’t seen Stephen Baldwin in a long while it would be good to see him more often.
I admire Stephen Baldwin immensely as a person and actor. He's a steadfast good and decent family man, unlike his unfortunate brother who suffers from hubris. I enjoyed this movie immensely. Only God knows what the future holds in store and mankind can only conjecture the possibilities.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 ~ "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. It was a good movie that was not overdone. Not seen Stephen Baldwin act before and it was nice seeing Dirk Benedict again acting. The last time seeing him was on the TV series "Galactica and the A-Team". It was well done and not with violence but with plenty of dialogue and science covered. A family could watch this with no problem with the age of the children. It could be a movie to inspire the young to go into the sciences.
Thank you for pointing out Dirk Benedict! I grew up watching him as Face on the A-team and as Starbuck on Galactica. Great to see him still in the acting world.
Almost didn't watch because I'm not a Steven Baldwin fan... but I read the reviews and gave it a chance. Good fairly B disaster flick. I like my disaster flicks VERY B, more baseline unrealistic with lots of dialog you can laugh about, like entering the fissure on the moon and they say "it's going to be dark".... like - the rest of space is illuminated? And the 20 year old space ship captain. All good... worth the watch. Thanks Midnight Screening... keep em' coming. These movies keep me from thinking about the actual disasters going on in the world today.

An excellent "disaster" movie, on a celestial scale ! Smart minds have a "brainstorming" on mending the broken moon and to deal with how the catastrophic events on earth could be averted. This could well materialize to be a possibility in the future, where concurrence of diversified expertise would be required, and also resolution, quick and correct decision-making. Foretells how crucial human preparedness is. One thing: The "weightlessness" that ought to be felt, during the (entire) sojourn, is not shown, which is incongruous with reality! That apart, the movie is an engaging one and keeps you glued to your seat till the end. All actors do good justice to the story-line ! Thanks, TH-cam for presenting us a wonderful movie !!!
Lovely, exactly what I needed, a very relaxing disaster movie. I don’t think that anybody watching thought that they were going to fail, but still fun to watch.

Dirk Benedict, in this movie, reminds me very much of the (almost forgettable) role he played in a movie with Strother Martin, where Strother slowly turned Dirk into a human snake. Weird movie, can't remember the title, but it was okay for a one-time viewing. A meterorite is at ground level after traveling at several kmh, and the crew assistant breaks off a chunk of that COLD iron stuff with a geologist's hammer.... Don't ya just love SciFi comedies?
