Dammit! Now I'm gonna have to Binge Watch Justified all over again....My 3rd Binge of, Arguably, The Best Damned Series that has been made in almost Forever....... Word is a Spinoff is coming in the Summer of 2023, with Timothy Olyphant as the Inimitable Raylan Givens, but no word whether Goggins as Boyd Crowder will grace the production. It would be kinda sad to see Raylan without Boyd in at least a Small part of the Spinoff. Goggins is doing a lot of "Work", so time and salary constraints just might get in the way. However it works out, I'd at least like to see Boyd in a Cameo appearance, but I don't get a vote
Walton is such a great actor and a great person if you look at all his interviews and looking all his work he looks like he has nothing but fun on the set and I love all the crazy characters you please from Venus in Sons of Anarchy to Vice principals to all the major movies he's been in
Loved Boyd...and love him as an actor. Intelligent on the show and also in real life, huh? Boyd Crowder best villain you love to hate on tv....sides of Boyd made me fall in love. I was upset when Ava betrayed him and just kept shouting why? It all came down to trust and if she could trust Boyd not to eventually hurt her. I think her experience with his brother and his family had tainted her somehow...excellent show...I have just finished the 6th series...I know late but i live in the Uk and only just discovered Justified. My husband and I were completely hooked. Now we are just about to start it again...yay!!
He betrayed her first in season 5 when he asked for a clean slate to turn in the Crowe family. If he really loved her he would have asked for her release from prison especially since he knew she was going to be murdered there! Her only way out was to flip on him and why should she have stayed loyal... I loved Boyd and Ava together but when it came right down to it Boyd only thought of himself.

Raylan, "That's right." Unforgettable ending to an an excellent series
And the fact that you wander back to it, despite all that has transpired... it's not just those two. It's all three in that scene, Raylan, Boyd and the audience. We made it, we dug coal togehter.
if there ever is a reboot of a tv series that I think Goggins would be perfect for, Greatest American Hero. I am a Canadian, I never heard of Goggins, couldnt name a thing he was in. It is now 2022 and I just finished watching Justified. Best show ever of that type, I will always be a fan of Stargate for best show ever. I am now a mega fan and will pay closer attention to the roles he has played and will rewatch all the movies and shows he has been a part of.
The volume for the people who asked questions should of been adjusted before this video was posted here. Walter's volume is good but not for the audience.
Where is his southern accent? He sounds like just any old Yankee, to me. And his answer to the question, "Who won?" sounds like a Yankee. What the hell? My heart is broken! I did hear a "y'all" come out of his mouth. That is somewhat settling. You know a phony when he dumps everything about his past, and you don't see WG like that; and I hope he's not that way. He's nervous because he knows he's not coming off like everyone thinks he is in real life.
Many people who grew up in the south "lose" their accent when they move to another region. You can still hear that he has one but it's just not as defined. The southern accent is typically defined as "lazy speech" because they drop vowels and place the emphasis on a different syllable than what is considered "proper" American English. I lived in Georgia the first 12 years of my life before moving to Michigan and unless I'm tired or angry very few people hear my accent. When I go back to visit family it does come back because I'm surrounded by it! Also as an actor he's probably taken a class or two to get rid of it so it opens up more roles for him. I was a big fan of Supernatural and Jared and Jensen are both from Texas and still live there, yet during some of the conventions of theirs that I've seen, they don't sound "Southern". I still have family down south and my youngest cousin has never had the southern accent. Plus Walton has traveled a lot, I've read. When you're around many people with many different accents of the same language you tend to pick up on their way of speaking. I've noticed it too with Arabic, I have many friends from different countries where that is the language and from different regions in those countries. I can speak Arabic but it's still very difficult with some of the different pronunciations and dialects.
How is that room not fucking packed! This man is one of the finest actors to have ever graced the screen.
