This is low-key one of the most motivational speeches ive ever heard.
It’s always my favourite part of any game, when one team is so far ahead they just send the goalie to get involved outfield.
It worked! We had players trying no look pass backs, giving corners away for no reason, scoring by smashing it off of one of their players and we got a point that keeps us in it! Limmy’s a tactical genius.
I've never seen a game of football where a team smashed it towards their own keeper so often. Thankfully two went wide that would've been goals if on target

You know this speech is really good because even Limmy knows that after a couple of minutes, a few of the 25-odd people he'd be giving it to are gonna started just tuning out. A speech so good that it is just too cerebral and insightful for most people... A speech so good that some people can't even manage to listen to the whole thing... This speech is the speech equivalent of the goalie running out and getting involved in the game right form the fucking start, getting out there and scorpion kicking the ball at the centre line just for the thrill of it. So a few players tune him out coz they don't think he's taking it seriously enough or because it doesn't make any sense, so what? Fuck them, they're daft.

Only because of Celtic and Rangers. There's no another full stadium in the country unless it's an Edinburgh derby. Other than the old firm and the Edinburgh teams St mirren are probably the only team that half fill their ground every home game.
We can't blame population, given the population of Denmark and Greece. No chance. Not, it's starting the boys too late, a year too late. The Scottish Law doesn't allow 15 year olds to play professionally. By which time Belgians and Spanish lads are earning millions and banging in the goals.
