    Great Video Boss! I’m looking into getting my Taycan and this is a way better option for ME instead of replacing the Bose that it comes with! Always been a fan of Bose and if there is a method like this to make them sound cleaner than normal is a win! Many Thanks For Sharing!

    Great stuff Kris. Keen to improve the godawful Bose in my Taycan which compares very badly to the old Model S Premium Audio system.

    Have you noticed any noticeable difference in range on the car since you installed the extra amplifier? I'm looking to upgrade the sound in my 4s and this sounds like a simple enough solution to get better sound without to much work.

    Kris, Thanks for the video. 👍 Wondering if this manufacturer has a version for my RS e-tron GT? The OEM-installed audio sounds fine, but the mid-range is muddy. Would like to get a replacement with better balance levels. Any recommendations? Thanks again.

    Add sound deadening to all speaker locations and make sure there’s no air leaks it will dramatically increase the sound just did this to my Infinity qx30 Bose 10 speaker and made the sound full and deep. People think they’re aftermarket speakers and sound. Nope all acoustic treatment 👋

    hey man, i bought this after seeing your video. installed it, works great but one problem I'm having are the driver side speakers are noticeably quieter than the passenger side speakers. i played around with the balance/fader and no luck. i removed the musway amp and this issue went away. do you have this issue?

    Thank you for your good reviews on EVs winter range.
    But I'm not accepting that a £100,000+ Porsche (or any other brand) is value for money. Especially when you have to spend to upgrade a sound system or anything else, that shouldalready be in the car. I appreciate that fools pay £300,000 for a Lambo, Ferrari etc.... but this is vanity, not value for money.

    • @KrisRifa
      @KrisRifa  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Appreciate it :) But I never said the Porsche was value for money, I was talking about the sound system upgrade being good value if you have the Bose sound system, but want better sound. It improves the sound system immensely. 1000 Euros for this upgrade is in my opinion money well spent!

    Go for a reputable brand this is trash no offence. Helix offers quality oem amp replacements, that amp is taking speaker level sound that is already DSPD by the the oem amp. The reason it does that is because the signal is sent over optical signal and that amp can't decode it. This is an idiotic setup. About the only thing worth having is the harness so you can avoid running speaker cables or cutting any oem harness. Go get a most interface and something Audiotec Fischer this is absolutely not going to be much better than your factory stereo sure it might go louder but running all the DSP signal Over the factory speakers just amplified is just putting way too much pressure on them, a flat signal would be different and you won't get a flat signal without getting a most150 interface for this car that interface is around 900 us dollars or 1200 pounds or something, it's a super expensive rabbit hole to do it properly. Sorry dude the fact you think it's more clean, clear or crisper it's nothing different it's just louder so sounds better to the average Joe lol.

      If you are going to try to "school" me and others on any subject, I would highly recommend you to lean to use punctuation and comma correctly. Deciphering what you are trying to say isn't easy, even after reading you comment multiple times.
      In a sound system setup, in very simple terms more power gives you better sound and more flexibility. With more available power you can tune the different channels more precisely and create a better sound stage and have much better control. In the Taycan, the limitation is in the amplifier and not the speakers or drivers. This is the case in most sound systems in cars or even in home setups. There are many cars that actually have the same speakers in the base and upgraded OEM systems, but will have a more powerful amplifier in the upgraded systems. An example of this is the Audi Q8 E-Tron.
      Sure more power allows you to play louder, but this amplifier also has DSP with a different output profile creating a different sound stage and listening experience. As I said in the video, the mids and low are much crisper and vibrant. There is much better instrument separation in this setup vs the standard Bose. The fact that you aren't even listening to what I say and think you know better how this sound before and after more than the person listening is hilarious.
      When it comes to audio I am not an average Joe, which I explained in the video several times. I have grown up on hi-fi and have had many great sound systems at home and in cars. I may not be an expert, but I don't claim to be either.
      Lastly, the Mobridge don't even offer anything compatible with the Taycan or any other Porsche. So you should have started with that, before going on a spiel!

    So what you are saying is firstly you pay extra for a Bose Upgrade on an overpriced Porsche and then you pay to Upgrade the upgraded stereo! And to add to this, there is no proper mounting system ... beyond cable ties!! Outstanding, how people with money to burn are willing to burn even more money. 👎

    • @KrisRifa
      @KrisRifa  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      How is the Taycan overpriced? Please elaborate. And yes, paying and extra 1000 euro for this upgrade is well worth the price. If you like to listen music I can highly recommended this upgrades. Clearly you don’t enjoy a good sound system if you don’t understand this. And if you think Porsches are overpriced you have clearly never driven one. There is a reason every car journalist loves them.

    • @mikadavies660
      @mikadavies660 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @KrisRifa Every journalist "loves" anything they are paid to test. Look at residual prices of Taycans to know their value in the marketplace. As for this utter bullshit of a wealthy person being refused to buy a limited edition GT3 , just because he has purchased 10 or 15 other Porsches! I don't know what level of arrogance that is? No one can support that crap. Fortunately their share price has dropped massively, in line with their drop in sales in China. At least the Chinese are refusing to put up with Porsche's arrogance.
      I used to track race and a couple of friends had 911's. I have great respect for the quality of their products but ever since dieselgate, their arrogance overtook their actual value.

      EVs are are like tech, and residual values reflects that. The residual value of my Taycan is 62,5% after 2,5 years and 40tkm. That is pretty much in line with every other 100k+ Euro I've owned the past ten years.
      "As for this utter bullshit of a wealthy person being refused to buy a limited edition GT3 , just because he has purchased 10 or 15 other Porsches! "
      This has nothin to with either this video or your original comment. So at this point you are just rambling. But simply isn't true. I know several people who have bought new GT3s without having to buy 10-15 Porsches. This seems to me more of a US phenomenon where dealers are run in a fundamentally different way that here in Europe.
      Who cars about share prices? Porsche is an 80+ year old company that cars about making the best cars out there, and not about share holders.
      Your original comment was "overpriced Porsche " and asked you to elaborate. You did anything but.
