Oh, they're gorgeous! How do you know how long to cook them when they're stacked thicknesses like that? Or do you roll the dough to be half your normal thickness, so that when you've stacked them, you still know the finished thickness (height?) of your cookies? (Does any of that make sense? Is really late here right now! 😂) What a perfectly lovely project! 💕
I usually use 8mm thick, but the thickness for these is 6mm plus 3-4mm for flowers and leaves. I've been making cookies for so many years now, so I don't use the timer for baking anymore. My fingers help me with this. 😊

Cookie sickness is 6mm, for details roll out the dough as thin as possible, but so that it is easy to work with
How is it that the top ones don’t fall off? I know they may fuse a little when they bake, but I thought they would fall off when turned and broke it.🤗😬
