I have hard time with midi CC... can you please explain me how did you setup to change song in your setlist and the keyboard sounds will change at the same time?! THank you for your help! Simon
midi depends on many things Simon... first both devices needs to communicate with each other (Midi iRig or else by Midi In & out connection & Set program change in keyboard to on -> note: in some cases this will have an impact on e.g. other projects where you dont want to have this enabled) -> i only know setlist maker: first you have to create a midi-Preset (means for every song a unique midi-preset -> e.g. song "A" - in my case i left MSB / LSB open/unfilled and put only in Program "9" ; then create entire Song e.g. "A" again under "Songs" and select there the midi-preset you have created before. preset this will change your keyboard to Programm No 8... that should basically work - anyway i suggest you to check the kronos midi-implementation chart figuires to determine which values / functions will be supported and by which value-setting... Nice solution and great organ app. The Gs lack an ARX-04 Great Organs card. If I see it correctly you don't have audio via USB active between iPad and G7? It's just a MIDI connection? Have Fun!
VogtThomas Have you tried to route USB audio from iPad into F7? I wish it were possible like it is with Kronos. Why does Roland not make Fantom CoreMIDI compatible? Gear with such a high price should be usable as long as possible.
pcuimac no i didnt try because from what i read i understood it is not possible... as far as i know there´s no further official roland support for some time now. theres some support at roland clan forums which is huge knowledge database and hardcore developers - maybe somebody is able to update ;-) thats the situation as of today: short and limited support at release and after 3 years a new model is introduced... everything is quick and hurry today !?
Hello. I have my Fantom G7 PAD to run rhythms. So I press the LIVE button and a PAD, then the battery begins to ring, but when switching to another record or SINGLE LIVE, rhythm stops. I've already made FACTORY RESET. You know any change that I have to do in the OS version 1.5 so that the rhythm don't stop?
i´m not sure how to understand the "battery ring" thing... you should check the setting of "MIDI" : disable midi exclusive transmit/receive first instance in the fantom G setting menu. check as well the forum where you might obtain very good help at all: forums.rolandclan.com/

the Connection is by MIDI IN/OUT from FG7 into iRIG module and further from iRIG module by USB into iPAD (lightning)

Yes it is simply possible with every midi gear which send & recognizes midi data (Programm change, LSB, MSB, control changes)

cant remember exactly - sorry - did a lot of workarounds and tried as long it has worked! but its possible quite simply via midi
