It’s Part 2 of our journey as we make our way to Everest Base Camp. Trying to survive in the mountains with a few obstacles. This journey got off to a rocky start. Previously, we took the worlds most dangerous flight to Lukla airport and began our 12 day trek. With a few struggles, a few emotions and a whole lot of heavy breathing. Today, We see Mount Everest for the first time and attempt to reach 3880m of elevation. Find out what we really think of each other in our daily confessions and don’t miss the emotional ending. Namaste ,Thanks for exploring Nepal, just a quick thought, Sherpas does not mean porters. Sherpa means an ethnic group of Nepali people who are originally from the Himalayan region. Actually they are most successful tribe of Nepal in present days in our homeland and abroad. Not too many Sherpas do porter jobs these days. Only if there is a big summit to climb Everest and they are recruited because they are highly experienced who have reached numerous times on the peaks of highest mountains in the world.
Yes we learnt that on our trip! Thank you for teaching us! Our porters were incredible and we loved meeting some sherpas higher up and learning about their culture😁 it’s amazing how diverse Nepal is ❤️

Should I say a trip to remember, I think definitely is, just think you can always brag about doing this trek to Everest to friends, I am sure you will appreciate how difficult was to actually climb the Everest Peak, extremely dangerous and not to many people has done this, can't wait for day 4 video, I am sure being with family is helping a bit, just be safe and appreciate this trip. until next vlog lol :)

This is vastly different than the other side of Everest (North) where we drove through desert terrain to get to Everest Base Camp on that side. Once there, we had to clear Chinese security at base camp. Next time I'll take the route you are all taking, it's far more scenic.
Is that an option for foreigners? Sounds like my kinda pace 😂

High altitude Hiking experience is like the difference between Urban vs Rural people : Urban people look Smugly Down on Nature ; Rural people look Up at it in Awe . . . I love Sierra/Alpine hiking but I stay below 13k ft ( which leaves 95% of the terrain to explore ). Oxygen at 14k is half what you have at sea level . . . 😺😺😺

That's common for me like at first when i went to Himalayas i couldn't breathe at first but i have a habit now
Yes at first it was hard to breathe, we sort of got used to it, but still difficult ❤
i am going out of breathe at 70 m elevation watching you guys climb so high and hard
It's hard to even imagine how hard that trek is, but I can imagine the joy in seeing Everest for the first time - what a view! Not just of Everest, but of all of those huge mountains. WOW!
it's impossible to explain but theres a feeling when you're up high in the mountains! Absolutely breathtaking! Figuratively and literally 🤣❤
