I grew up in Lake Hopatcong and worked at the Quick Chek in Mt Arlington when it first opened in the 70's. (don't know if it's still there).
I moved from the area back in the late 80's and barely recognize Howard Blvd. So many changes.

There is still a Quick Check, but it moved an number of years back from its location in the strip mall to a stand alone building (with a gas station) a little farther south on Howard Blvd. near the west bound entrance to Route 80.
