    Thanks for increasing my knowledge in personal finance and investment, I recently subscribed to your channel. I want to give a big shout-out to all those working tirelessly to earn a living and build wealth during this recession. My husband and I are both retired and debt-free, and we're living smart and frugal with our money. Despite the recession, we're still earning passive income thanks to our savings and investments in the financial market. Investing lifestyle has enabled us to earn a steady monthly income through passive means, and we're grateful for it."

      Congratulations on your early retirement. Right now, I could really use some investment advice or tips on investing. Last year I hesitated until the year ended without making any move. This year I decided to try something because I'm very open to ideas on how I can invest. When I see your comment I believe that you have an experience in it that could be of great help to me. Hope you don't mind sharing?

      @@martyedgar4678 That's not a problem at all! I would advise you to determine your investment horizon, but I recommend a long-term plan if you are looking to make a lot of profit on your investment. I created a long term investment plan with Claire Martha Magalhaes who helped me invest and manage my investment while getting on with my job without worry.

      Working with a skilled financial planner can be compared to having a mentor in the field of finance. I used to struggle to invest on my own and ended up losing money, but things changed once I started working with Claire Martha Magalhaes. She played a pivotal role in helping me improve my financial situation. Previously, I relied solely on my job and salary for income, but now I have found ways to generate additional income with ease, which has allowed me to leave traditional employment. Nowadays, I believe that investing is not a choice, but a necessity for anyone who desires financial independence and a good quality of life.

    Thx for being so transparent to get a solid sense of your hard work, good thing that you had an RV as a back up living space, I've been trying to figure out what to invest in RE vs Land vs Tiny House vs RV/Van during this next phase of my life and I see how wise you were and how mobile living vehicle came in handy in all the different scenarios, thanks so much for sharing again!

    • @thehomesteadthread
      @thehomesteadthread  ปีที่แล้ว

      The RV was super handy because we didn't know where we were going to end up and it allowed us to buy an unfinished house. If we would have known where we were going to move to I probably wouldn't have bought an RV. The rates at the RV sites skyrocketed during the pandemic and were often the same as hotels.

    Love this. I'm doing almost the same thing after cashing out of my house in LA and buying an acre of land in the middle of nowhere, Central Texas. They literally broke ground today to start the slab on a 40 x 80 barndo - half will be my house and the other a 40 x 40 shop for me to work on my cars. The plan is to do it debt free too, but I have a couple of years ahead of me building the place myself with little to no experience, so it kind of depends how many mistakes I make haha. Should be an amazing experience either way.

    Nice place! I'm late coming in. My friend bought a house in Maury County, Tn. in 2017. Not sure if your house was in Maury or Williamson County, because Spring Hill expands into both counties now, it seems. Anyway, she paid $150,000 for the house. It was huge, but needed a lot of work. She sold it at the beginning of this year for almost $500,000!!! She hated to sell it, because she loved it, but when she bought it, she intended to turn it into a bed and breakfast. Regulations, and then covid messed that all up, and she needed the money. She already owns a farm with a house, so she didn't need the 2nd house, since it wasn't bringing in the income she had hoped for.

    • @thehomesteadthread
      @thehomesteadthread  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We were in the Williamson side, which is nice for the schools, but not so much for the taxes and regulations. That is one heck of a profit, glad it worked out for her.

    Sounds like your a great husband and Dad. Your wisdom has paid off and your family has been blessed. Now that you have led your family to your dream home, it's time to lead them to the Lord. No this is not some wacko Christian guy forcing you into some far right concepts. I'm just a man who after 60 years started reading the Word of God and I'm listening and following what it teaches. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you. Your children need their parents to lead them. Train up a child in the way they must go and when they are older they will not depart from it. If we are luke warm God spits us out of His mouth and scrubs our name from the book of life. Meaning this world is the only Heaven we will ever know without Him. Jesus is the only way to God. It is better to be cold or hot in your understanding of who God is. If your luke warm it means you know what He has told you and are choosing not to listen. The husband is to be the Spiritual leader of the family and to love your wife as Jesus loves the Church. He gave His life for us and that is a powerful sacrifice not to be taken lightly. The creator loves us that much and doesn't want even one of us to perish. God is reaching out to everyone to get our attention. We need to read the Word of God starting in Luke and Mark then onto Matthew and John. All things work out for the good for those who love the Lord and who are called according to His purposes. Why am I writing this? I just felt led to do so and I honor God by listening and following His guidance through the Holy Spirit.
