- This video is a tour of Magnolia Hall at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I show glimpses of lobbies, hallways, study rooms, laundry rooms, and even the vending machines!
Magnolia Hall opened in the fall of 2019 and houses around 400 students. Floors 1-3 are semi suite style while the fourth floor is community style. Magnolia has hammock hooks, swings, a courtyard, and plenty of picnic tables outside to make the hall feel more like home :)
I hope this video is informing to anyone who is interested in west campus housing!

meg deason the halls are a bit different in the layout, but they are sister dorms, so they are very similar. The rooms are exactly the same layout! Welcome to Rocky Top🧡🧡

We’ll be on the same floor next year!🧡 I don’t know who was in that room, but I know that based off the number of that room, you are located probably at the end of the hall by the stairwell or somewhere close by!!! 173’s layout will be just like my layout except the room may be a bit smaller, and the window could be to the left instead of to the right

how long does it take to get from magnolia to the majority of classes?
typically around 15 minutes!!!
how easy is to to get into utk for vet med?? im class of '21 and utk is my dream college but im terrified I won't get accepted :(
Penelope Keegan hey!!! I am not sure how rigorous the agriculture college is when accepting students because my major is in the business college, but one of my best friends is an animal science major. I will contact her and get back with you on what she says!

Penelope Keegan hello! My friend said the pre-vet major is in the college of arts and sciences while an animal science major is in the college of agriculture. She doesn’t know how rigorous the pre-vet program is, but she does know that getting accepted into vet school is highly competitive. We both would recommend you contacting the college of arts and sciences in order for an advisor specialized in the pre-vet major to answer any questions you may have about admissions. So sorry we couldn’t answer your specific questions, but we hope that an advisor will be able to! Just remember to stay positive and know that you are worthy of getting in to any program you set your mind to!!!🧡🧡🧡

I’m an incoming freshmen and am living in Dogwood next fall! I was wondering if you know what floor(s) students in the different llc’s live on (community or suite)? Any help is appreciated!!🫶
Hi! I actually do not know the floors of particular LLCs, but I do know the layout of Dogwood very well! Dogwood is the sister dorm to Magnolia, so majority of the rooms in Dogwood are semi-suite style with two people sharing a room and bathroom just like Magnolia. Dogwood has a few quad style apartments; however, they’re very limited, so the most common floor plan is semi-suite. Dogwood does not have the community style floor like Magnolia’s fourth floor. I hope this is somewhat helpful!

Oh no worries at all! When I was living in Magnolia, Herbert LLC was on the second floor, and the Pre Med LLC was on the fourth floor. Things have changed around so much since I have lived there that I am not sure how it is set up now, but that’s the way it was a couple of years ago!
