- Hi there! I’m 38 years old and pregnant with my first child! I’ll be documenting the journey here on my channel and wanted to kick things off by discussing our journey to getting pregnant. I’m beyond excited and looking forward to sharing my experiences thus far. I hope you enjoy the video and I hope there is someone out there who finds it helpful on their journey! We are on the same journey
I'm 39 too have had 7 miscarriages 2 failed IVFs over a period of 2019-2024 now we did our 3rd IVF 5 eggs were retrieved 2 arrested 2 were fertilized & put back in my womb 2 days ago, & the 1 egg that was fertilized on monday, right now I got a call from the lab & the embryologist informed me that, that embryo didn't make it. I have shut down I'm crushed don't even know what is going on with the two embryos in my womb. & I have to take keep taking the progesterone injections & a blood test next week Friday. I don't even have a glimpse of hope I've been through this rocky road many times💔💔💔💔💔💔🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷😔😔😔😔😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😩😩😩

I’m 37 and expecting my 2nd child and extremely terrified 😭Everyone around me is so rude,and I’m constantly being told I’m too old🥺 finding women my age who are thriving and healthy, and financially stable I think I should be fine, it’s so frustrating though being around such negative people, I would say the most hate I hear is how I’m putting my life in danger to my current family and I’m being selfish 😫I hope to find more friends my age that we can help build each other up.
Lastly. Thank you for sharing your story, it does give me hope that everything is going to be okay 🩷

Wow! I hate that's been your experience and it makes me sad to read that. Congratulations on your second pregnancy. I may be bias 🙂but I think your age is the perfect time to have another. Now was the perfect time my husband and I and we couldn't be happier. We're raising our child in the environment that we dreamed of 10 years ago when we first met. And you know what, I think we're going to try and have another next year. As you said, we're in good health, financially stable, thriving and very loving parents. Sometimes people need to learn to keep their mouths shut. I'm wishing you a very healthy and safe pregnancy. I hope you enjoy every second of it and these negative people realize how wrong they are so that they don't say those things to someone else at another time.

Congratulations! I'm 38 and had a miscarriage at the beginning of the year. But my bf and I are trying for our rainbow baby and this makes me hopeful that I can get pregnant at 38. Sending you lots of baby dust for healthy baby, healthy mama!
Thank you so much! So sorry to hear about your miscarriage. They're tough, physically and mentally. When it happened I focused on healing both and trying not to stress about it. You'll get pregnant again and you and your partner will have your beautiful bouncing baby. I'll say a prayer that it's soon :-)
I’m 37. Just found out last week. My first is 13 yrs old. I’ll be starting all over. I’m just praying for a healthy baby.

Just found out I was pregnant with 37. Hope and pray everything will be ok. We struggled with getting pregnant for 2 years but relatively started late too.

I’m 37 and pregnant with my first child after having an ectopic pregnancy 13 years ago… every cramp or symptom makes me nervous or made me think I was having another one. I thought I miscarried and I had my first appt last week to see and make sure everything had passed BUT instead was confirmed that my embryo is in the uterus and has a heart beat! That was such a relief and I cried tears of joy because I thought I miscarried and the likelihood of having another ectopic after having one is said to be greater. I have less anxiety now but I know each appt I will be at the edge of my seat. Lol oh, the irony is that my mom passed on 3/25 💔 and I found out I was pregnant the next day 3/26 🤎…. Thank you for sharing ur journey! I’ll be following🥰
Oh that’s amazing! I’m so happy for you! Congratulations and I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry. Take things one day at a time and enjoy every part of the journey. I was very nervous as well after having a miscarriage and I feel like the first part of my pregnancy was a blur. Now, I'm at the end and everything has been relatively textbook. I wish I hadn’t worried so much up front.

Thank you so much! The best age is when you're ready, so I think you have plenty of time! If I had to do it all over again, I still think mid to late 30s would be an ideal time for me.

When i first found out i was pregnant a couple of weeks ago i watched your video for inspiration as i am above 35, i went for a scan and found out my babys heartbeat stopped at 6 weeks😢 i am so devastated...
I am so sorry for your loss! I unfortunately remember that feeling. I hope you are getting some rest and allowing time to heal physically and mentally.
I'm 37 and pregnant with my 3rd. Having a hard time with anxiety, HG, and herniated discs in my neck (old dance injury) Praying 🙏🏼

I'm 31 and really struggling 😢 we want to wait a couple of years and everyone's telling us we're leaving it too late. This is so reassuring.
Im sorry to hear that 🥺 In my opinion 31 is still so young! I say wait until you both are ready, you have plenty of time. Once your little one is here it will be you and your partner and the little ones 99.9% of the time lol. The people who are telling you to start now will be visiting and waiving goodbye hehe. I love being a mom but it’s also a big life adjustment. I’m so thankful I waited until I was 100 percent ready. I strongly believe you both will know when you’re ready. Talk to your Doc about your thoughts at your next visit. That may also help to reassure you. Wishing you the best ❤️
Honestly it's better that way, having almost 20 years for enjoy and build yourself (20 to 40), and doing everything you want, free, young, only with the responsibility of your own life, and building the life you want, and once you feel fulfilled, and have time and money to spare, then having a child
That's for sure been the best decision for both my husband and I. I'm 38 and he's 41 so we're definitely ready for this next chapter, having done pretty much everything we've wanted to do solo!
Such a great story, thank you for opening up to us. I just received a positive pregnancy test after suffering a blighted ovum last year at the age of 34. I'm nervous, but going to try to be better about enjoying these moments!
Congratulations!!!!!! I know it's so hard but do try and enjoy it! It's good that you are taking in videos and learning as much as you can because in the first trimester you may get some symptoms that seem scary but are not concerning. For me it was the cramping and some minor spotting. Freaked me out but all totally normal in those early stages. Sending hugs your way!
I am 39 and trying to conceive now. What got me clicking on your video though was your name! Keyva. My name is Kieva. Pronounced like yours is spelled. I don't hear that name much at all in any variation. Anyway, congratulations!
Thank you so much! No our name is not very common. My dad's name is Kevin, pronounce Keevin, which is where my mom got my name from. But I actually met and worked with another Keyva some years back, she spelled hers Keva :-)

Hi! Thank you for sharing your story. I hadn’t seen much content from women who look like me sharing an experience so similar to mine. I had a miscarriage last December and ended up with endometritis which only added to the stress of the whole process. It got to the point where my husband and I weren’t sure if we even wanted to try again. We haven’t pulled the trigger quite yet to start trying again but the conversations have started. I’ll turn 39 this year and hearing your story gives me hope. ❤
The more comments I get under this video the more I’m so glad I decided to share. It sounds like you both want to try again so I’m sending so many prayers your way that it happens for you guys. Don’t let being 39 be a deterrent. As stressful as my journey was, I’m so thankful we decided to regroup and try again. We’re super close to trying again soon for another. My Dr. was super positive about it when I mentioned at my annual visit.

I truly appreciate you sharing your story so openly. I’m 42 (just a few months from 43), & I have a 12 year old. Never had a miscarriage before, nor an ectopic, no fibroids ever, extremely regular periods, & my bf & I are TTC. I’m currently on 3 DPO, & I feel hopeful that I may be pregnant. I’m trying not to dwell on it too much, but every little twinge I feel in my lower belly makes me get anxious for the next two weeks. My period is due on the 14th/15th. 80% of the time, I have slight spotting a day before my period starts. I can’t decide if I want to take a test on July 11th or just wait until the day after my missed period. I don’t want any false negatives or false positives, so I feel it’s best to wait until I’m absolutely certain (2-3 days after my missed period). While I’m waiting, I’m continuing my regular exercise, healthy diet of leafy greens, lean proteins, low (processed) sugars, nuts & seeds, & complex carbs. Basically just living my life 😊. But I am so, so hopeful that I conceived. We were intimate two days prior, the day prior, & the day of my predicted ovulation day. 🙏🏾🤞🏾

38 just had a miscarriage, we are heartbroken, but I'm not giving up hope. We will try again after I heal.
I'm so sorry for your loss 😞- Taking some time to heal physically and mentally was the best thing that I could have done. For us it was 4 or so months before we started trying again and I promised myself that time I would put no pressure on myself and just let my body do its thing. I"m glad you are not giving up hope and will try again. I pray that you get your sweet rainbow baby when the time comes.

I just found your videos, and this one hit me so hard. I am so sorry for your loss first of all, and congratulations on your new baby. That's amazing!!🎉❤ Our situations are almost identical. I had a blighted ovum in April, D&C in May after a failed medication attempt. Now I'm just over the "3 month wait" period...and I'm hoping I have the same luck as you and fall pregnant again!! I am so happy for you! Again, congratulations!😊😊
Wow! Pretty much exact same scenario. I'm also very sorry about your loss. It was a very painful experience, emotionally, and physically + fighting the negative intrusive thoughts that I wouldn't be able to conceive again. Very tough, but on the other side was my beautiful baby boy and I'm praying the same for you! It's an exciting time to start trying again and I hope you're just enjoying and having fun :-) with it without the pressure. I think that really helped me as well.

Congrats! My Husband and I waited because we were worried financial and for other reasons. I just turned 39 and trying to get pregnant. I only want 1 kid. Pray for me

May I ask, the new job you got while trying to conceive was ut a stay at home position?
I got a supervisory promotion at the agency that I was already working for. I've been working from home since 2016 and it continued even with that promotion. I go into the office once a week.

I’m 35 pregnant with my second baby and already being treated like a piece of crap by my doctors
Do you have the option to switch your Doctor(s)? I had a very supportive care team; my OB, midwife, and MFM specialist along with their staff were great! It really helped to keep me positive and less worrying throughout the pregnancy and delivery.
I at 35 will be 35 in December have to have fibroids removed ill be 35 when i have my first child

I wish I would’ve had kids at 26 and not 36 … I’m going to be 70 when my kids 44 and 80 when they turn 54 it’s very depressing and probably dead when they retire
