The new lights look fantastic, you did a great job Angela. Now I'm looking at my Jeep thinking hmmmm, but I think my husband has had enough of spending money on it.
I have a Patriot that the passenger side bulb kept burning out (or so I thought). I would keep replacing it and out it would go again. Turns out there are a bundle of wires attached in the engine area that get loose. I googled it and found it to be a common problem. Had my guy work on that and now no problems! Great job Angela.
So funny you say that. My patriot had the same problem, only thing is mine shorted out and fried the whole main wiring harness that goes directly to the engine.. Fun times.
@@charr4689 That's a drag. When I have my oil changed, I ask them to stay far away from that bunch of wires. I do have extra bulbs if you ever need them!

My 2007 Honda had such fogged headlights I could hardly see the road in the dark. My son used a kit & buffed them both out for $40. Good as new after an hour or so.
I just spayed mine with Off (DEET) and wiped it off all the oxidation. After that spayed it with clear coat. Took all of 10 minutes and has lasted over a year.

Whenever I get a vehicle that has a tag on the front like that, the tag is one of the first things I get rid of. I also peel off and stickers that have the dealer name and any other stickers. Then I go online and look and see if the vehicle has any open recall notices. Finally, I look over the whole vehicle for any problems and fix the ones that I can fix. Just 2 days ago, I noticed that I now have a power steering fluid leak and need to check and find out where the leak is so that I can fix it. The A/C also don't work. The clutch is bad on the compressor, but mine uses a compressor that you can't just replace the clutch. You have to replace the entire compressor.
Pulling the plastic..... almost as fun as popping bubble ramp... Also make ramps from 2x12 lumber tapering the end 45 degrees... stack them and you'll always be safe!!! Plastic? Never!!!

Not long come across this channel and have enjoyed 99% of the content but this one sorry, you could have restored the headlights with a restoration kit which is greener and cheaper, yes the driving lights/fog lights ( small round ones ) needed replacing as one was cracked but the others with a kit could have been just like new.
This Jeep has had those kits used on it in the past. It was time to spoil Angela with something nice since it's her Jeep and she drives it all the time.

Buy a headlight restoration kit for $20, takes less time than changing the whole unit ( 30 mins max ) and is a greener solution.

Why not use a headlight polishing kit? Sam, you have the tools. Rain-x makes a kit I've used which does a great job for much less than money. 🦀
Those kits don't work -- we've tried some in the past. Can't beat new!
Sam, agreed replacements provide the best results. However kits with acrylic sealer do well. I replaced my fog light bulbs with HIDs. 🦀

If your electronics work, then I would suspect the starter. If they don't, I would go through checking all the fuses and relays. Good luck!
