I think balancing a tower based on how long it will get the player to get it would be healthier and make the grind less painfull, for a cassual reaching something as prestigius as golden towers might take litterall days, maybe even weeks because they dont have the time to grind he game. But what do I know? I am not a game dev.
Hey John, can you add a way for console players to spam towers, upgrade towers , use ability, and delete towers easily. Its kinda difficult trying to beat harder difficulty specially the nightmare Void.
John i got all units in a day after coming back to the game a year later..Totally Love it, though the only thing that is missing is a map joining system like TDS where at spawn you can join solo,double,trio or quad games. Right now you are losing players just coz of people acting stupid and not joining someone a bit lower level than them or for stupid reasons.

It has double the health of the boss spawning but negative defense (more damage done) so towers targeting the strongest or abilities like golden mine layers, will target it first and the boss wouldn’t take damage from the attacks putting more strategy into the gameplay

we thought this would break endless but its looking more like late game for other modes because its relying on its abilities and has a low mine halftime still this is crazy and will become part of the meta,even if youd be expecting more of a direct upgrade to regular minelayer because it costs 70K if the mine halftime will go down further in the nerfs then regular mine layer will still be a better option because it could use more mines at once in endless(while costing 25% of the price)
Alright this just shows that they really don’t want G ranger to be so strong… the least they can do is give it an ability on top path! Idea for the ability: A very fast burst (like bottom operator) of about 20 shots. They would do around 150-200 dmg per shot. Wich would do around 3000-4000 dmg. Believe me for the fact top max is 45K this isn’t much. Would probably have a cooldown of around 20-30 seconds, maybe more. It would also stunthe thing it hits for 0.5 seconds and have 3 pierce. Please cause like G ranger is Honsetly not worth it kinda. Needs a bit more to be worth it. Also: why does bottom G ranger gun (max) have an under barrel while it doesn’t launch anything? Like why doesn’t it have like the Red thermite but weaker? Also make it that in settings you can turn off event decorations in lobby. And could we get a TB mercenary Ghost skin?
Made the math real quick and the result are the max damage (not dps) a normal minelayer can do is 35k per max minelayer (bottom path with all max mines) and the golden version can have 52.5k damage per max golden mine layer (bottom without hability and max mines) meaning a golden mine layer is 1.5 times more damage than its normal version without hability Max damage: when minelayer lays all mines than it can and it starts deleting old mines cuz lifetime ended and can no longer get more mines meaning no more damage accumulated Edit: the hability from bottom has a total of 416 dps (5000k damage per 12 secs)[only the strongest the the other enemy will take 208dps]
I wad litterally sitting here thinking, to not make the tower boring they gave it abilities and made it viable in more situations. But then keeping a long lifetime means it CAN be cheesed which technicly makes it op. So keeping the lifetime short is a perfect way to balance it
If you think about it, he is the most balanced Golden so far. Yeah he has insane damage and utility, but he still has the same issues with the original Mine Layer. He still has like no base range, it takes him forever to get set up, he has very shitty health, and his early levels are kinda crappy. Because of this, I think he's quite balanced
@@Blackbirdtree1 The TDS golden perk system doesn't care about that. It still allows you to use all kinds of cosmetics while having different stats. It still doesn't remove the fact that using skins or the regular tower version will become almost pointless once you have the golden counterpart in TDX, which i think is a bit lame. I think being able to customise more with golden towers would be nice if that's the case.
So, In endless mobile lags a lot, I would propose a no warship explosion thing in the settings, since 30ish warships firing isn't good for mobile users, as they drop under a frame every second on waves like 130, 100, etc.

this tower is absolutely amazing. its less cost effective then regular minelayer, BUT ITS ABILITYS MAKE UP FOR THAT! its pretty unbalanced but compared to gjug that completely outclassed regular jug this is pretty frickin balanced (top path g minelayer does less dps then regular minelayer top path)

Instead of nerfing the stats of bottom path of golden mine layer, i suggest you just increase the bottom path last upgrade price to 100k
