scariest bossfight in TDX's history was defo eradicator MKII on release the quick wiping of your units is something i'll never forget.. i want more bosses to have that effect where all ur towers are just wiped out. void is able to do this pretty decently, but maybe nightmare mode will allow this to happen more those new missiles from eradicators that do a % of a towers health is a step in the right direction to deal with the health inflation tdx has had like how juggernaut used to have like 1.8K HP but now has like 4K
I remember playing expert on release he completely eradicated my towers and I realized his name made sense being "eradicator" completely made to massacre your towers. But now he is just a joke of a boss hopefully with the expert rework will make an extremely hard boss to fight
Corrupted Eradicator Mk II's boss fight, especially in nightmare mode, was probably the closest thing I've ever felt in reliving the dread of playing expert mode on release. They even hit you up with the dreadnoughts and cursed wendigos shortly after that to exploit your ease of even believing you won.
Hear me out on this one but the vile engineer fighf is absolute gold (chapter 2 nightmare) Right off the start, engineer begins his emp attack, causing you to back away if you have any helis, but during that, engineer has 3 allies show up for him; 2 corrupted predators to causs more hindering and the nightmare heretic as his support, having you to handle 4 enemies at once, even that's not all as he then releases his nail golems, with one having a home stretch to the end, and later, avatars show up to continue what the nail golems have done. Not to mention the music for the whole round is fitting for the chapter and sets the atmosphere Vile engineer is a boss designed to perfectly counteract your defenses and calling for the help of his awakened allies such as the heretic to aid him, and with all that, he still isnt too easy nor too difficult This is why chapter 2 is my favorite chapter, a perfect balance.
I always enjoy calamity. Instakilling a huge amount of towers is fun, because you, the player, have to actually step in or else you lose to much dps. It's always a fun time
Nightmare void is def a top contender here, this beast with 2 million hp very much tests your defenses, actually feeling like a final boss rather than a small problem, not to mention the attacks. If other bosses were scary, this thing is an actual nightmare. slightly different than exo santa in the term where you need to sell towers (if necessary), but here the punishment is less, risking towers rather then runs. THE MUSIC goes CRAZY, torture the gods sets the setting very well for what power this thing holds, the steps feel so dang powerful, and the arua around the void is stunning. EVERY attack is visually appealing. The prelude is massive here, you can't bring g jug or g ranger because of the massive amounts of laser resist, cutting off easy dps and support options. warship gets countered because of the above average exp resists throughout the entire gamemode (NOT TO MENTION TELEKINESIS) and the generally extremely challenging nature of nightmare tb event sits well and gives expectations.
so true, all of his attacks are very memorable because of how deadly they are, even in endless with full defense he still wreak havoc and can even potentially wipe out defense (iirc i saw a guy losing two-thirds of his warships to nightmare void) plus his theme slaps
One idea I’ve also had with bosses could be how they can be interacted with to change the tide of the battle, not just by relying on the towers but instead having to click set buttons, click the boss yourself as it’s preforming a certain attack, tracking an objective with your mouse precisely, any set mini-game or little interaction to falter the boss to at least contribute and increase the intensity with the boss’s having the player also rely on skill and not management. Even if possible to be compatible for mobile too.
Exo nightmare is one of my favorite osts of the whole game, it’s so good, and the build up near the end when the guitar gets added in with the other instruments is just beautiful. I ended up as one of the 0.01-0.001% of listeners
Im not gonna lie, but ginger dread also sounds tailored, since as soon as the boss starts attacking, the actual music part after the buildup of "Its beginning to look a lot like UR STRATEGY SUX" starts making me feel more hyped!
As someone who did the nightmare mode of the christmas event, I can 100% testify that John was out to make us cry. It took me tens maybe hundreds of tries to beat that boss. Heck, made my own sort of strategy to just get to the boss. Then I would die to the summons (both santa's copy and the present throw attack). :/
If exo santa wasn't menacing enough upon his release, with the release of christmas 2024, because of all the game changes made, when he was reintroduced in christmas nightmare pt 1, all his attacks were heavily upscaled to be able to now par with all the new features
Eradicator mark one C is a great example. It’s first phase may not seem too bad, but whenever you get to the second phase, your entire defense will be wiped out. If you do not take care of him mind you he can summon shields to protect him and do some pretty huge attack attacks.
I think one of the toughest tdx boss fights is the not canon golden erad MKI combat, the theme itself prepares itself to go berserk and it successfully captivates the player to lock in and get to defending, the boss itself used to be a literal tank with millions of hp which really shows how powerful it was. Your defense has gone through hell before reaching the point. That what truly makes a tough boss fight in my eyes
The most moment where I’ve felt I was gonna get cooked was Christmas event chapter 1 nightmare when the eradidogs rush. I had my ass CLENCHED spamming stun grenadiers and spamming the reboot ability in my G juggs. Unlike wave 80 on endless, you don’t have time because the nightmare Exo santas one shot ur grenadiers.
In my opinion the best boss fight is: CORRUPTED/ENRAGED ERADICATOR MARK 2 Corrupted/enraged Eradicator mark 2 has to be the best boss fight in the whole game. It is quite threatening, especially on the nightmare version, where it can trample loads of your towers and its attacks are devastating, able to kill your main defence easily. It’s also very engaging, needing you to constantly place baits to bait the other enemies, while also replacing your defences while fighting it. The music and attack pattern is very cool and awesome, where watching the boss perform beautiful attacks while also having your defense crumble, giving you a sense of dread. Prelude is also very good, since the waves before it are extremely intense, especially fighting off the 3/4 dreadnoughts on the wave before it. An adding factor is that you can’t immediately rest after killing the boss, since you still have to kill a striker after the boss, and on nightmare mode, you have to kill 3 dreadnoughts as well as a cursed wendigo rush which is why corrupted/enraged Eradicator mark 2 is the best boss fight ever made. The second best boss fight goes to nightmare void since: It’s meant for endgame players, and has extremely threatening attacks, especially corruption and telekinesis, which can put a massive blow on your defenses, and if you’re asking if it is engaging, yes cuz its abilities AND the summoned horde requires you to literally lock in, for example placing baits to bait out corruption, selling and replacing towers that are corrupted, as well as moving them to keep them away from nightmare void, endbringers and guardians It is one of the most entertaining boss fights, since its music (RAZE THE VOIDDDDDDDD), design and attacks are cool, and you actually feel very happy when you beat him! Finally, prelude is also very good, since the rest of the game is hard as hell, such as early game lavas, speed buffed hidden bosses and lightnings, cloned boss 3’s and boss 4’s, and ESPECIALLY THOSE STUPID MYSTERY BOSSES which literally can spawn APEX PREDATORRRRRRR, and the hype all building up for the boss fight, truly nightmare void is the second best boss in the game

I was a little bit disappointed by the Corrupted Erad 2 bossfight. To be honest, I loved it's ost since Halloween came out and I think that John didn't see the full potential of how the song could make thw fight awesome. First of all, the song shouldn't be 8 minutes long since the fight is so short. Second of all, there is an awesome transition to the second drop in the middle of the song. In my opinion, the perfect boss fight would be the death of Corrupted Erad at that transition and the instant revival of it in the form of Enraged Erad 2 at the drop. If you take your time and listen to the song, you will see how cool would that be. The song is called "Phuck your heart (Violent version)" by Aaron Bianchi btw if you didn't know.
@r_vn2780 same thing. One thing, I really enjoyed Corrupted Apex. It's and Corrupted Erad 2's themes are probably my favourite TDX osts, but the Apex fight was much better executed. It was actually fearful, how he got closer and closer to the base whereas the music got more and more intense.
@@furiousgd4101 yea but It could’ve been executed even better if they replicated his intro calling in shit ton of predators at once and make him attack the base from time to time The corrupt predator is very underutilized I expect more to show up in night 4 but they only showed up once and never seen again
Even OG bosses like the void or bosses inspired by historical events like plague doctor bring a unique presentation in TDX and that makes the game more entertaining
Love the video, the editing was unique, it was really worth my time. We understand you want to push the video before new years but it's ok. Keep up to good work Remi
Xmas nightmare was def on top as one of the most painful modes on release, stupidly miserable to beat but felt so good to be finally beat it, even when it was accidentally released without the last wave it was still really difficult because of wave 8, im pretty sure at the time the artillery qol update wasnt out yet at that time further increasing the difficulty
I completely agree with the NM santa's insanely cool and difficult boss fight, as it took my teaam and I 4 tried to beat it and it was the 4th time that we even made it to the boss, the waves, the music, the geberal vibe of the fight was nothing short of amazing.
Expert on release was also an extremely fun yet hell to beat, I had attempts where our team got to the last wave and lost because of the mine layers not being enough to finish him off giving MKII enough breathing time to regen back 40k health and by then our economies were cooked, and all we could do was wait for our deaths as he walks down the long path of oil rig.
I LOVE VIDEO ESSAYS ON TDXXXX TY REMI ❤ Now i wanna take the time to talk about my favorite boss in TDX (probably not ur final pick, but i love this guy) The Vile Engineer fight in nightmare chapter 2 is probably my favorite in the game so far, because it's the first boss on a dual path to take advantage of that. Engi uses avatars nail golems and necromancer bosses as shields for himself, all while buffing and receiving buffs from the nightmare heretic. You have to slowly chip down his defenses one by one and his attacks are easily telegraphed, but deadly. Using helicopters in the fight against him makes it so engaging especially when ur trying to avoid his EMP attack. That, combined with his LORRRRRRRREEEEE makes him my personal favorite.
Yup that 4 barreled bastard kept me on my toes alright, though even early on I still eventually beat him, it was super satisfying the first time. His corrupted version in chap 3 of the halloween event made me panic when I saw it XD
I remember my first time facing against mkII, I was immediately caught off guard. once he showed up he wiped all my towers, I wasn't prepared for that, I panicked, I tried to restore my defense just for them to be killed by mkII again and my money got wasted really fast. I had nothing to do but accept my lost and watch mkII and horde of rushers reaching to the end. next time when I finally reached to the wave 40 I were more prepared, spammed baits around everywhere I could, saved up enough money and set my juggernauts and John to strongest to focus on the boss while laser gunners focused on small enemies. and here he is again, everything was good until he quickly raged and eliminate almost all of my towers. I panicked again but my money was enough to deal with him so I started to place juggernauts and edj with john for support as fast as I could while my hand holding the mouse were shaking. and boom! mkII hp reached to zero and he explode. the experience I has was amazing, I never had such a good boss fight in td games before. I thought td games can't offer a good boss fight until John showed up to prove wrong, that boss fights in td games can be great
@@TotallyNotSnowy.Hes difficulty in release was a definition of power waves are a lot harder, wiping out one of the best meta and late game towers since released how was it mid?
Expert mode on release was such a nerve wracking experience and for me atleast, I was always unsure, even while using Strats, if I was gonna be able to beat it.
I honestly feel like Calamity was a really good boss, atleast when the game first launched. I mean when the first time seeing that 6666666 HP after the sky turned red was Ominous as hell, and then when he summoned all of his goons right near your base, the Adrenaline rush was crazy. And the fact just to survive you had to constantly sell and replace towers and once he screamed and killed almost all my towers when he was right next to the base for the first time, I felt actual real FEAR from a TD game boss. The beatdrop of his song with the heavy drums as all of the shadow goons rised from the ground was on POINT. I loved the surprise after John hyped of Apex Predator being the final boss
Ok here’s my review on the bosses… (mk2 and endless). (WARNING THIS IS FRICKEN LONG) Eradicator Mk2: I personally love the concept of him just a robot that is made to kill… no priority on who to kill he just fires away and wants to make sure everyone is turned to ashes his death even representing that (I faintly wished it did like 1-2k damage to nearby towers.) Eradicator MkIV: I really enjoy mkIV as a boss when he spawns I always get this feeling on him just being here because dr xenon made him he doesn’t lose the personality or over express his attacks he just fights and kinda has a honour to it when it comes to shooting warships. The only time he breaks his aura is when he knows he about to die so he drops everything knowing his armour isn’t gonna keep his safe for much longer knows he has to book it or die trying. Eradicator combat: this is my favourite of all the eradicators. He comes in walking like he’s *him* literally his first attack going straight for the warship killer. He just acts kinda jokingly with phase 1 but when he enters phase 2 he realises ‘oh crap they are able to kill me’ and that’s when he starts to panic with slamming the ground with his blades or just trying to kill anything near him (I like to believe he knows that slammers can stun him and this is how he try’s to get her away from him). Once he loses he plays back into the ‘hell nah I’m outta here’ before exploding like mkIV just trying to book it or die trying. (I really how we get other versions because combat implies there’s a defense and support armour). *APEX PREDATORRRR-:* He’s defiantly follows his logic. Summons the hoard as the leader, focuses attacks mainly on groups or more dangerous targets (fire attack for crowds and the laser orbs for warships.) He fights for his predators and hunters and even when he dies he knows this is it for him and is willing to try and take you with him. Calamity: uh calamity… *sucks…* Idk he had such a good build up but his attacks feel so boring… hell even his mega summon has no effects they just pop from the ground. Now I understand he was supposed to do voids moves as John said but they wanted for the collab void to be more impactful as a boss but could we please atleast get the mind control? Alright I might continue this for the event bosses and the others but right now I’ve done a stupid amount of typing hope we all can enjoy this new year and you starting it off by reading a guy comment which is just a TED talk.
I think dd does all the things pretty well it makes me feel excitement and worry when fighting any boss even tho i know i can beat it andnthe music is fire
Exo santa gave me a big flashback to santa bot from Tower battles and not very happy flashbacks and guess who is gonna be in Christmas event? Frosty my favorite boss from Tower battles. John really really like Tower battles
Also one thing i do like is how basically all these bosses are pre endless, as lets be real the medic, as a tower that just directly undoes damage and is able to be spammed to hell and back, doesn't work in that game and just trivialises basically all attacks, turning bosses once again just into hp walls like in any other td game
1:30 xeno pixels fight from geometry defense because I like advertising the game even though it hasn't been updated in 6 months and has barely any players
Eradicator MK II is the definition of powercreep on release his mode was the scariest thing ever on all TD ganes at the time, all his waves were no joke and one single mistake could make you lose (you could freeze him with cryo, but he got nerfed like at the 1st-2nd day lol) and the only strat at the time was the Mine layer spamming one, and the boss itself was also insanely tough, he could one tap every tower with is attacks, and delete all your towers with his minigun, fire, and missile attacks + that he can heal, he was a pretty boss along his mode, until Endless came in and introduced the most OP towers since then, and became from being the hardest mode ever to just Early def with Granger, farm and Spam Top Path Gjuggs with supports :/ I really hope expert gets reworked like John purposed in one poll on the disc server.
scariest bossfight in TDX's history was defo eradicator MKII on release
the quick wiping of your units is something i'll never forget..
i want more bosses to have that effect where all ur towers are just wiped out. void is able to do this pretty decently, but maybe nightmare mode will allow this to happen more
those new missiles from eradicators that do a % of a towers health is a step in the right direction to deal with the health inflation tdx has had
like how juggernaut used to have like 1.8K HP but now has like 4K
The MK2 just killing every juggernaut on the map in seconds 😭
yes it's very fun to replace over a hundred towers because of one boss attack (i'm lying see endless mode)
Fr eradicator mk2 really deserved the name “beast” when it came to its theme lyrics. “Would your trust a beast like me gonna phuck your heart.”
I remember playing expert on release he completely eradicated my towers and I realized his name made sense being "eradicator" completely made to massacre your towers. But now he is just a joke of a boss hopefully with the expert rework will make an extremely hard boss to fight

I LOVE VIDEO ESSAYS ON TDXXXX TY REMI ❤
Now i wanna take the time to talk about my favorite boss in TDX (probably not ur final pick, but i love this guy)
The Vile Engineer fight in nightmare chapter 2 is probably my favorite in the game so far, because it's the first boss on a dual path to take advantage of that.
Vile Engineer from *tds* was definetely a highlight
@RuvinPlaysOfficial i fixed it
HOLY TRUEEEEEEE thats my Vile goat washing the Fraudtched
BABE, REMI RELEASED ANOTHER PEAK VIDEO!

Nice video btw happy new year
Bro is cooking new year with this video peak..🎉
I thought td games can't offer a good boss fight until John showed up to prove wrong, that boss fights in td games can be great
He's like the easiest boss(you mean release one?) But still He's really mid for a boss
@@TotallyNotSnowy.Hes difficulty in release was a definition of power waves are a lot harder, wiping out one of the best meta and late game towers since released how was it mid?
I can’t unsee the fact the Eradicators have protogen heads😭
New year new vid from Remi!!
Expert mode on release was such a nerve wracking experience and for me atleast, I was always unsure, even while using Strats, if I was gonna be able to beat it.
early endless mode wave 120 was the scariest bossfight ive ever faced in any TD game
Happy new year remi🥚
Dr xenon be putting a speaker on da bosses🗣️🗣️🗣️
"Fire, blades, missiles, guns." Sounds like the avatar's intro lol
(WARNING THIS IS FRICKEN LONG)
Eradicator Mk2: I personally love the concept of him just a robot that is made to kill… no priority on who to kill he just fires away and wants to make sure everyone is turned to ashes his death even representing that (I faintly wished it did like 1-2k damage to nearby towers.)
Eradicator MkIV: I really enjoy mkIV as a boss when he spawns I always get this feeling on him just being here because dr xenon made him he doesn’t lose the personality or over express his attacks he just fights and kinda has a honour to it when it comes to shooting warships.
*APEX PREDATORRRR-:*
He’s defiantly follows his logic. Summons the hoard as the leader, focuses attacks mainly on groups or more dangerous targets (fire attack for crowds and the laser orbs for warships.)
He fights for his predators and hunters and even when he dies he knows this is it for him and is willing to try and take you with him.
Calamity: uh calamity…
*sucks…*
Idk he had such a good build up but his attacks feel so boring… hell even his mega summon has no effects they just pop from the ground.
I actually miss the uphill battle of the first nightmare xmas, i hope xmas part 2 this year brings that 0ind of challenge back
Good to know very good to know
YOUR DANG RIGHT JACK
happy new year remi🎉
Happy new year 🎊
I think dd does all the things pretty well it makes me feel excitement and worry when fighting any boss even tho i know i can beat it andnthe music is fire
Amazing video keep it up
Happy new year
Ginger dread (burnt) is like a fnaf 4 jumpscare, it scares the shit out me when *R E D B E A M*
Also, there was a way to beat nightmare exo santa easier, set ur towers on last (or weakest) to take out multi earlier, ez win
One of my personal favorites is the night 3 fight from this Halloween event
0:08 glad I’m not the only one who noticed
I'm miserable and really annoying so i gotta call this individual and all other TDX fans glazers because why the hell not 🦅
Nightmare christmas was easy for me. I just had to wait for power ups to come out and I was able to beat the mode first try.
Players who completed nightmare w/o powerups crying in the corner
The music choice in this video is just too good.
ur giving me flashbacks of nightmare exo santa suffering
happy new years 🎉
The 3rd boss MUST be NM void
idk why i said that, he is literally in the thumbnail
the game should change genres and have you fight the boss with deepwoken combat.
Exo santa gave me a big flashback to santa bot from Tower battles and not very happy flashbacks and guess who is gonna be in Christmas event? Frosty my favorite boss from Tower battles. John really really like Tower battles
holy glaze.
Good video quality as usual, but holy glaze god damn.
Also one thing i do like is how basically all these bosses are pre endless, as lets be real the medic, as a tower that just directly undoes damage and is able to be spammed to hell and back, doesn't work in that game and just trivialises basically all attacks, turning bosses once again just into hp walls like in any other td game
2:07 CRITICAL TOWER DEFENSE RAHHH
P Ranking P-2 is such hell
worth every second 10/10
I think you could show gameplay footage instead of, idk, anime. Weebs, if you didn't know, not everyone likes anime
1:30 xeno pixels fight from geometry defense because I like advertising the game even though it hasn't been updated in 6 months and has barely any players
the boss is music make epic
3:16 PRELUDE, Like ULTRAKILL???!!!!11!!!
(also yes, P-2 gave me Trauma like never before) 🪙🪙🪙🪙
Holy shit there was an Ultrakill reference
Apex predator like Calamity bit he dont consent
I'm a mobile player and a tdx boss fight was hell because of the bait tower thing...
‘Are in no shortage in creativity when it comes to design’ Don’t know about that one chief. Why is their like 8 billion eradicators and predators?
Sir it's called proggression, older didfficulties are supposed to get easyier as you progress and get better stuff. I know scary concept to grasp.
@filippohl9097 progression smells it just reduces replayability
if you want a td game with progression go play tds instead
The eradicator mk2 will not be a joke when the expert rework arrives💀
If a boss gives me ptsd then yes that a good boss
Imagine this, AN ENEMY that attacks the player like tg and dd.
As dying, you lose a couple of thousand bucks.
*:)*
Yo human remi......What did you do to the jack in the box man :(
Dude I just can't resist laughing at my self lagging in the background
