Tying with Davie R Baird 25th July 2024

Davie ties us 8 cracking patterns that have been catching him loads of fish this season.
1. A size 10 Yellow Owl Grunter. This is very rarely off his cast and is very productive on the highland loch's that he fishes.
2. A size 14 Greenwells Spider Dry Fly (tied in the Clyde style).
3. A size 14 Reed's Assassin (which is very successful for wild brownies).
4. A size 12 Coch-y-Bonndu. (he shows a handy tip with the thread, for forming a neat peacock herl body).
5. A size 12 Mayfly Emerger.
6. A size 10 Half Hog Hopper (with a handy tip for tying in the deerhair wing).
7. A size 8 Olive muddler.
8. A size 12 Detatched body Daddy (I've gotta tie up some of these).
