    Some topics I'd love to see covered:
    1) More on small unit tactics (four-man teams, etc.) in patrolling, RECCE, CQB, etc.
    2) Potential SOPs for nonverbal communication during surreptitious room clearing
    3) PCC and PCI considerations
    Some helmet-mounted camera force-on-force action in individual, as well as team environments, could be pretty awesome content, too.

    Great technique. One person searching is full of danger. While you are focusing on this room, a Joe Badguy can come stumbling out of another room with a gun and beer in his hands. Melancholy. I like you back up technique. Two way projectiles rules apply with non bullet resistant walls. Thanks for the video.

    This is some real good input, but on the topic of home defense it's far better to hunker down and wait for them to come to you. For example: If they have more numbers (and you can expect at least 3 for a home invasion), you're better off *outside* of the room because they need to funnel out the doorway into your line of sight. Posting up in an advantageous spot (like at the top of a staircase) is what you want.
    Otherwise, this video has some really solid input and I would absolutely recommend using a carbine for home defense. An AR-15 loaded with fragmenting ammo such as the SOST bullet (a.k.a. Federal T556TNB1 if you wanna buy it at a gun show or online at a future time) is one of the absolute best options for home defense.
    You can trust me, I'm a dude in TH-cam comments.

    Thank you instructor Zee. Have a question. I have very little experience in CQB and I had a thought/question regarding use of safety mechanism. If I was alone (most probable) I would not use my safe selector switch , in a group setting,
    I would. My reason is that the sound & time coming from high ready would put me at risk of me getting discovered. I also agree with Pablo's comment transitioning to opposite shoulder when cutting the pie.
    I appreciate your time doing this and sharing your knowledge. You are legit as is your organization.

    • @sgtcwhatley
      @sgtcwhatley 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am no expert but my feeling on the issue is it comes into the category of "what if".
      You might feel better crouched down, someone else might not because they feel off balance or they are concerned if someone did shoot through the wall the rounds might hit above their body armor etc.

      What about MOH winners, or game winning quarterbacks, the innumerable times folks have used personal firearms to stop home invasions, car jackings, etc, and there are examples. All of the aforementioned rose to the occasion. Not knocking you personally, just saying that we all should stop using that old axiom.

    • @HarryKuloh
      @HarryKuloh 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@SweetDDaddy incorrect. Mike Q, you misunderstand the point of the saying. The saying is about what happens most frequently. MOH actions are not what happens most frequently. MOH actions are the exception, not the rule. Does the saying make better sense now?
      It is still correct and true to say that we don't rise to the occasion-- We fall to our level of training. Earning a MOH is not demonstrative of the rule. It is demonstrative of an exception to the rule. Thats why MOH actions get awarded...because they are rare exceptions to the rule. The rule of thumb is that people dont rise to the occasion. Instead, they fall to their level of training.
      Not knocking you personally, Mike Q, just saying that we should all stop thinking like Mike Q when it comes to this old and true axiom.
