Havoc on Feeling Validated After 2Pac Dissed Mobb Deep, Prodigy Being Mad

- Mobb Deep rapper Havoc spoke about being stressed out before the release of The Infamous, due mostly in part to his brother, Killa Black, being on the run for murder. He later beat the trial, but Killa Black died after taking his own life, thus inspiring the dark title of their second album "Hell on Earth."
During the conversation, Havoc also spoke about 2Pac dissing Mobb Deep on "Against All Odds," where he rapped, "Mobb Deep wonder why a n***a blowed 'em out/Next time grown folks talk, n***a, close your mouth!" The group later retaliated with "Drop a Gem on 'Em," which was pulled after 2Pac was fatally shot.
To hear more of what Havoc had to say, including Prodigy's thoughts on 2Pac's diss, hit the above clip.

In my eyes, Havoc is one of the best producers of all time. He practically invented that horrorcore sound.
Let’s not forget Three6Mafia in the mid south💯
Prince Paul, as well.
I'm sure Esham in Detroit would disagree.
Havoc is underrated, he never gets mentioned as a top producer.

During the mid 90s when or about the time The Infamous and Hell On Earth dropped, those who remember vibing to those albums in real time witnessed how those two young cats together held their own from a production and lyrical perspective during the best era of hip-hop which was when the fashion and attitude was organically infused with the soundtrack that rap perfectly provided.
This is the nicest thing I have ever heard about Hip Hop in a long time..."best era of hip-hop which was when the fashion and attitude was organically infused with the soundtrack that rap perfectly provided." That's true. I now miss the 90s.
I KID YOU NOT. . . 2Pac made me listen to Mobb Deep, which they are tied for my #1 group, with 8Ball & MjG. THANK YOU Pac! Homie
8ball and MJG should have been bigger than what they was!!
Emoney Bags, Freddie Foxx, & Boot Camp Clik were mutual friends between 2pac & Mobb Deep.

@@upclosenpersonal100 Yeah man, to me, Pac would have actually squashed all those bullshit beefs. Him and Nas had the infamous meet in NY where they agreed to meet again. Pac said that them saying "Thug Life we still living it" was a subliminal diss. Also, that's kind of wack for Havoc to act like he doesnt know why 2pac was pissed.
Yeah, he knew. Didn't Pac's boys run up on Mobb Deep at their concert in Atlanta while Pac was in jail? I remember Pac saying that and how Havoc and Prodigy just looked forward pretending they weren't there. They didn't want any of that. Pac was right when he said these were just 'little n*ggas' - they weren't on his level.

Mobb deep id never know why or how i got the same thing as prodigy did but i still love him all these years later
So what about when 50 dissed mobb deep an then later they sign to G-unit how does that work.
I heard and interview with Prodigy where he said he didnt consider that a diss he was just making a reference. Dont remember what interview.
Elias Rios I would have considered it disrespectful any the vary least but I guess that money would make people think of something a little different
Big K Mobb Deep did song with 50 cent before get rich or die trying, I'm pretty sure they was close even before the Mobb Deep reference
Big J The reason why because reminding you 50 was going at Ja Rule heavily non-stop. 50 went at Mobb Deep because he heard and found out that Havoc was appearing in Ja Rule's video "New York" behind the scenes and Havoc kept inviting Prodigy to come to the video shoot, but Prodigy refused. Since 50 knew that Havoc was at Ja Rule's video shoot, 50 thought that Mobb Deep was siding with Ja Rule which they wasn't and knowing that he went at Fat Joe, Jadakiss and Nas because in 50's mind, he thought they was choosing sides. So that cause 50 to get at Mobb Deep a lil bit in his song "Piggy Bank" but still it was like a lil misunderstanding. 50 love Mobb Deep, don't get me wrong, it just that in 50's mentality back then, if you did a song with Ja Rule, if you appear on one of his videos or whatever, 50 gon think you choosing Ja Rule's side and 50 would get at you and 50 would do anything to end your career.
