    In the USA this would never be allowed. It would required that everyone stand 1.4 miles away in case someones feet got wet. We would even make sure no kids under 10 could witness this cause it could cause shock due to the quick running water.

  • @jimashton7110
    @jimashton7110 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    All they had to was make an inch deep path from the lake to the ocean. The water, gravity and erosion would’ve taken care of the rest rather quickly. Black Rock River formation is the best example. They didn’t need to get an excavator out there.
    With that volume of water in an inch wide/deep path the water would just zoom along taking lots of the sand with it widening it naturally

    • @russs7574
      @russs7574 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, but this looked like a lot more fun for the excavator operator.

    If it happens every year, why not install a overflow pipe so you don't have to dig up the beach every year?

    • @TheGuyNobodyReallyLikes
      @TheGuyNobodyReallyLikes 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ Chuck Beef Because it is Australia - a 3rd world dump. They aren't smart enough to think about installing pipes. They also don't have enough money or other resources to get pipes. Instead they'll be using a digger over and over every time to let out the excess water and in the process waste whatever little money they have been able to collect.
