Good day Shane, glad the pic helped and your reverse engineering is great. I'm actually leaving mine as is with the first speaker as it works fantastic. I think I mentioned I'm just about deaf and with hearing aids about 75% deaf yet I can hear this thing across the table LOL. So can my flying buddies. Once again thanks for all you have put into this. BTW I'll have to test out that power situation on mine and see if I get the same result. I'll let you know. Mike R
I recommend adding a 100k resistor to the audio amplifier input. This will fix the distorted sound. The resistors in the radio on a small board are too weak
@@Mak_Gajwer Did you watch the complete video? The initial distortion was due to taking the signal off the negative side of the radios amp. Final result sounds great. Not sure what distortion you are referring to, can you elaborate? Happy to test something else but as of now it sounds fantastic.
Haha, thanks. That was the strangest random question so I had to investigate then noticed the "Telchine" and it all made sense. TH-cam's my hobby, breaks the monotony!

Absolutely epic Shane, thank you for such a comprehensive guide. More TX16S mods incoming! 😂
Thanks for this! Using your Amazon links, I was able to find the bigger speakers (4 ohms, 3W, 2.54 Dupont connectors) in a 2 pack.
Thanks. I updated the link to go to just the speakers so you don't need to buy the amp you don' t need! I had just posted what I previously purchased.
Just replace and but better speaker in and thats it.
Muy bien.
Me agradan mucho estos proyectos con todo lo que implica RadioMaster.
Buen trabajo.

That was a huge improvement..

Does this have a self hipot feature??
The radio? Why would it and why do you ask?
Hey is this Rob!?
@@shanesdiy Hahahaha hey Shane!!! I love your channel!! I hope all is well over there bud!

I've switched from spektrum to tx16S and I can definiately say spektrums audio system is far easier to understand/hear/
With this simple cheap mod, my TX16S has much better sound than my Spektrum radios.
