- In this second series we revisit North Wales. In this episode we park up overlooking the estuary at Ty Calch near Caernarfon. We head onto a location we visited in our first ever Snowdonia series episode 4 above Llanberis before heading down a stunning Mountain road nearby Llyn Cowlyd reservoir.
We are Scott and Ellie Morgan. Florence is our affectionately named Camper Van - A custom, rustic refurbished Fiat Ducato (Talbot Express) van, join us as we take Florence on Van Life, Hiking and Exploring adventures.

I think many vanlifers show just the best whats happening and so you ask yourself on your own way what you are doing wrong because it's not as perfect as their journey. We enjoy watching your videos because you are just you and it feels closer to what we like to do in our van. I understand just how nice it is to have lazy days in the van (or in our case motorhome). I’m definitely just happy to see whatever you’re up to - whether it’s adventuring or chilling.

I think the key to making TH-camr Vids is you have got to be enjoying “it” !
And if you are enjoying “it” people (viewers) will also.
You have a format that works, and you also have a number of key things you cover (the outdoors, Van life, photography, food and your View on life) there’s things are also why people come back however that’s not to say you can’t try new things too
So I would say just keep enjoying yourself’s.
I’ve love being out in my van I find it so peaceful, I’ve just ordered another van and I’m moving up in size from a T5 to a Crafter (with a fixed bed) and we will be able to use it all year too🤟

Watched this vlog again for the first time in a few years - you were very unlucky with the weather. We love Llanberis - it’s an area that has so much to give. We stay at the Morris Leisure camp site on the edge of the town (walking distance to the great chip shop!) - highly recommended camp site with lovely warm shower blocks. We have noticed that all your background music has been updated - the new tunes are nice but we fell in love with the original beautiful tunes you used - presumably the older tunes are no longer available?
We just love following you guys having fun. You should check out Anglesy more, especially when the weathers bad in the hills; plenty of park ups 👍

I don’t know of any ancestors we have from Wales but we get the exact same sense. Always feel like we have come home as soon as we venture into Wales. People such as Joshua Humphreys, George Henry Thomas, Frank Lloyd Wright, Harold Lloyd, Jesse and Frank James, Jack Daniels, Meriweather Lewis, Daniel Boone, John Adams, Etc. Just a couple of names, but many, many more.

This video is probably on the cusp of that I’d watch in terms of the reason I followed this channel to begin with. What I mean is, I enjoy your videos where you’re camping, trekking, getting in some awesome aerial views with the drone. But that’s only because I prefer your hiking and camping videos the most.
That edit of your van overlooking the scenery with a time lapse was really nice, beautifully shot.
But do what you guys want, it’s your channel, your journey never feel pressured to entertain your subscribers. Be yourselves and people will invest.
Just keep doing what you do. That's why we keep coming back to you. Your videos never feel forced or fake.

Another vote for you not feeling any pressure to post. The subscribe button doesn’t have an expiry date, and I watch and enjoy everything you post. Every channel I subscribe to posting weekly or twice weekly end up with lots of unwatched as the quality falls off a cliff. If TH-cam were clever, they would be measuring and judging channels on how many of the channels’ subscribers watch every video. That means we ARE happy. Just measuring subscriber numbers means we WERE happy.

Have you tried Norfolk ? its not much further, lots of quiet beauty spots, great coastline and the weather is far nicer.

Great time to be out in the van, making the most of the last days of warmth. Turned out amazing .lovely scenery at the end .I'm happy with touring style vlogs . Loved the fish and chips always how I lift my spirits .like my last peak District adventure . Made it real cosy in my tent . Your Florence looks so cosy. My life is similar work hard as self employed gardener .and end up chilling with little walks and more touring in the car of the mountains.its hard to unwind at times .by the time I'm loving it it's time to go and my body is ready for walks . It's tough life

Rain in Wales, just like holidays we had as kids.
I'll be honest. When you don't upload for awhile... We really miss you. BUT... we understand that you're not full time, and your uniqueness would suffer if you made vids JUST to make vids. There's a quality standard that you've set for yourselves that I'd hate to see dragged down if you weren't enjoying it. What a terrible thing it would be to see the talking head type vids that so many vanlife channels put out there, just to get their views. Each video you make is a cinematic masterpiece that not many other channels come even close to matching. We personally don't ever want to see the "how we poop" video from you guys, or the constant whining about vanlife that is so prevalent among nomadic youtubers. Keep doing whatever it is that makes you guys happy, cuz it's WORKING. Thanks for another beautiful video of my Dad's homeland. Today is the 46th anniversary of his passing, and it was wonderful to see a little more of where he came from. :)

I moved for various reason but the 9/10 months of low grey cloud played a big part. Nice to go back now & then.😁

Ah ok, yes you could get up there but there is only limited space and other people park there in the day. There’s room for about 3 cars and people get really funny of you park width ways so they can’t fit in. We always turn around first thing in the morning.
