So are there different grade heim joints that would've held or was the engineering behind the tubes and forces applied not the best? I'm confused how a completely built truck could break like this. Or is that just prerunner/offroad style - gotta go through a lot of trial and error sniffing out weak points?
I came up w/way to help double tire life not need a spare & help w/camber & towing. & wet traction. Hve a dually tire on rim. U run air up inside so it does the daily load sunny weather, & outside air-ed up on bad weather or loaded days. Then both air-ed up towing & fudge in camber w/air as well. Off road both aired down but only so much as matching the rock or speed gravel run. Way down outside & 1/2 air inside to help turn w/out over loading steering unit.
I could then run lower drag all terrain on inside & mud off road or crawl tire outside, w/gap in middle for rain. ?What Am I missing besides better gas mpg better double ish tire wear, better handling better camber & better towing & loading & far better rain traction on the cheap?
those Can Am buggies r quality machine twice the climb & speed running of jeep at 1/2 the price 2 seat or 4 seat & NOW snow trak version instead of tires. They hve ramps so u can drive up on F450 bed & top of roof.
If every time u bolt control arm to ? it was double plte collar instead of 1 plate then atleast if it broke u still hve 2nd other side to go down road on. & if 2 beat 1 why not 4, SO double collar left & double collar right w/pin in between. So hve 4 welds & 2 diff places u can mount to or on pin thru whole mount set up 2+2=4 & pined so u hve 3 diff places u can mount up per control end. May find u like 1 better than other.
If could watch learn & think up new crazy opposite approach & u two 1 of who is dead fab it up I would b pit champ unstoppable. I would add that buggy busted knuckle guy into mix for extreme 4 by 4 know how.

Looks like the rear axle is escaping again at 16:41 It's still better than anything I could build
Thanks a lot for this series
Jessie
I might need a truck like that. Well not that exact one.
Sad, when Jessi was alive. Who knew she would leave doing what she loved.
A stock truck would last longer. This goes to show u all the fancy parts dont mean shit unless they're used correctly

I deff chaulk it up as under engineered and poor geometry front and rear.

Bilstein has a top of line 5 by pass shock & separate coil over set up. Fox & King then Falcons & Ranchero major players.
there is a quality 6pack in1 shock upper mid jeep shock too.
no reserve life on that 1.
