That ending scene where they sing "Can you feel the love tonight" together is the most wholesome, sweetest thing I've ever seen! I had legit tears in my eyes. Then I burst out laughing at that Scar comment! 😆 I mean, where's the lie? LoL. They are the best couple. ❤️

to say something so negative about them. I think they are blessed to have families that love them. And I don’t see them as spoiled at all. They are generous with one another. Very kind and loving couple. Why don’t you look for the positive in others instead of the negative? I’m sure they suffered enough ridicule from people who might not understand them to be loved on a little more.

Being genetically and neurologically malformed is no 'super power'.
I’m on the spectrum. It was difficult when I was younger, but as an adult, it’s amazing. I have a freedom that neurotypical people have to work really hard for.
@@kellydobinson8011 Same. I'm _fiercely_ independent and I love that. I'm not constantly weighted down by silly societal norms or peer pressure and am not embarrassed about the passion I have for my "special interests". I'm perfectly happy just being who I am and don't need society's approval. ..so in that sense, I feel very lucky compared to neurotypicals.
Unfortunately, I developed C-PTSD because I wasn't diagnosed until adulthood, so I was treated as a "problem child" when I was young. (This is very common for millenial autistics) Obviously the PTSD is horrible. ...but the autism itself is fine with me. I genuinely wouldn't change it if I could.

CRYING!!!!!!!!!! so beautiful. Now, can you imagine if she wasn't diagnosed until 45, like me? She's so lucky to have so much awareness and support so young. She has not embodied a bunch of trauma. I love them both.

We adopted our son when he was 11. He is all over the spectrum , well functioning without empathy. It’s been a difficult road. He is now 25, in his own apartment with a job but he still struggles without friends. He’s very hard to love. I love your story…just found you guys and I’m catching up on the videos. You are so blessed to have Abby and now David also. Hugs.

I follow Abbey and was so pleasantly surprised to see her & David on this show!! She has an amazing voice, and her new song is absolutely AMAZING... a MUST WATCH!! I didn't even know they were on a TV show when I started following Abbey! I must say that Abbey has the BEST and the coolest mother EVER... momma is a queen & Abbey is a true princess & David is a true gentleman and I LOVE THEM ALL💯 👸 💖 💕💖

I love them so. ❤❤ I wish I could visit with them! It was through watching the show Love on the Spectrum that I realized I’m on the Spectrum myself. I’m 61 years of age and see so very much of my own self in Abbey’s. “Getting to know her” as best as one can through a screen is quite frankly, mind blowing! It’s like I’m watching & listening to myself. Unbelievable! I’ve more recently came to accept that I’ll never find that “someone special” to spend the rest of my life with however, I’m certainly going to enjoy spending some of my time with Abbey & David as they continue what I perceive to be a lifelong love of their lives together. I do hope that they’ll have their own “spin-off” from Love on the Spectrum! It makes me feel happy for them when they’re smiling😊. There’s potential to reach so many people who are on the Spectrum. What a wonderful “educational” platform that would be. We would benefit greatly in many ways. Seeing that we aren’t alone is an amazing feeling to have when we’re at a time when we’re feeling like there’s nobody else who understands & accepts our minds as they are… … Perfectly Imperfect, just like anyone else’s

Abbey and David you two are so amazing! My youngest has autism and I have held on to my belief that as he becomes an adult life will become easier and he will be excepted by the world. School has been so very hard for him!!! He gets bullied for being different and has a very hard time making friends even though he is social he is socially awkward and has a hard time communicating, socially with others that they can understand. it’s been a very hard road but he is almost 15 and seeing you two has given me so much hope

I love how Abbey (the one who studied music in college) tune pitched David during the singing so it sounded way better. If two voices are out of tune w each other it sounds way more obvious than both being off note. So she makes him sound better ❤

Omg 😍 I love this. I have two sons with autism this makes me have hope that someday when there older they will have a chance to experience love and live a beautiful life as adults that's what I've always worried about since there diagnosis that when they get older they won't get to experience any of this they won't be able to do everything that a normal person would be able to. I always cry thinking about the future for them.
