Much to see at beamish by look of it!! Beam engine is very interesting, I wish I could of understood more of what the chap was saying though🤔 Our engines hear in cornwall have the three control arbors, that’s only got two. Is the equilibrium triggered another way?
Aye its a interesting site to much to see properly in 1 day. Aye with the background noise and his very strong jordy accent he was hard to understand in person sadly. I'm not sure to be honest I'm not well versed on early engines of this type.
Yes looked like a good day out! And not too much rain! Sounded like it was a very early engine, and having the wheal above the beam seemed mind boggling to what I’m used to down hear. He had it running like a clock anyway, good on him!👍
