When i got my dog the shelter said they found her in the woods, scared to interact with anyone, and extremely malnourished. She has a scar on her snout where we think they muzzled her when she was a puppy. We had her for about 6 years now and she still flinches whenever someone tries to pet her.
I rescued an injured spanish mastin from a mountain a couple of months ago. She was caught in a trap, lost all her toes on her left paw, and had scars from other dogs trying to eat her. It was brutal, man... I have no idea how she managed to survive all of this. She also has many scars from ticks, was skin and bones... She is now a happy puppy living with us, and gratitude you can see in her eyes is almost unparalleled. We love her to death!

I recently lost my dog he was from a rescue shelter the first year he was trying to get comfortable but later on we can see he was very loving and loyal to his family and his home he passed in peace from old age and I am grateful he passed with his loving family together there is nothing to regret but to have a peace in mind and cherish great memories with him now wherever he is peace and love.

I know he’s waiting for you guys at the rainbow bridge. In the meantime he can play with my dog up there! We lost her to an accident and I never got to say goodbye. I’m still really not okay and it was almost a year ago. They leave a huge impact on us for sure and certainly take a piece of our hearts with them❤️

My dog named Kiwi was a hurt dog. She was hurt and left on the streets she lost her family. I now own Kiwi, for 4 years now. She’s 11 years old she’s getting old but she’s happier than ever.
I love how dogs can have broken legs or whatever, then you get to watch them grow it back and become healthier and stronger. It’s like a sign of hope and determination to me.

The second I hear I dogs’ yelp or cry of pain, I literally can’t stand from the emotional pain. It hurts a lot every time I hear it, it’s like I’m hearing my actual child being hurt negatively. It causes me that type of pain in the soul,
I miss my dog. My family had to put him down recently and it was so painful. He was a rescued dog and seeing these videos help me feel better knowing that my family did gave him a home.

My dog and I met when he savagely bit my hand. They handed me a towel..and I wrapped it around him. As soon as we were in my car, that tail started wagging. Testing, shots, neutering, and he had a forever home. He died a few months ago at the age of 13. He licked my hand before his final breath. Worth it, so VERY worth it.

4 month ago I found a dog just like that, it took me 2 month to get his trust, i fed him every day and gave him water, now he is sleapings with with me every night. I love him so much he gets so excited when I come home from school. hes everything for me, im so lucky I got him.
I adopted a poodle whose previous owner was a hoarder, they neglected her and kept her in a cage for years. Once I adopted her, she and I were bonded. She learned that she could free go in/out as she pleased, fed very well, loved & cuddled as much as possible. By the end of her life, she died in her sleep surrounded by the ones she loved, passing on in my arms. She was the perfect dog, and I hope I see her first thing when I go

this reminded me of our neighbourhood dog. In my grandmothers neighbourhood theres this dog who everyone in the community just loves and adores, and welcomes him into our houses for food etc. One day, i went to my grandmas house then saw the dog's eye, completly fallen apart. Someone hit him really hard, and he almost looked blind. He just laid down there as my heart shattered. We took him to the vet, in our car. The whole neighbourhood chipped in for the surgery and now the dogs really happy. He's a loveable buddy. We all love him.

Anybody who treats these poor innocent animals like this need to get their lives in check. I have never seen an aggressive dog that hasn’t been abused in some way before. They are the most caring and loyal beings on this planet and some of us take it for granted. I have a pitbull and people are scared because they have a bad reputation for being used in dog fights, but she is the sweetest dog ever.
They are caring and loyal because we take them away from their mother at a young age, meaning they'll imprint us as their parent and because we decide to train them. Have you seen African wild dogs? They'd target you in an instant. We humans tend to humanise animals because we're obviously comparable, but dogs are not humans.

I always find it so heart warming when a dog in distress gets picked up and then be like "oh". Don't get me wrong the noises dogs make when they are petrified absolutely gets under my skin and I hate it to my core. But as soon as they realize that a persons embrace is not hurting them they calm down really quick. Now this doesn't happen with all dogs many dogs that have been abused by people will not simply relax after being held. This is a particular thing I have noticed with puppies most.

We found my dog Bailey just like that. Cold, skinny and crying for help on the side of the road. We took her to the vet and had to have emergency surgery on most of her body. Turns out she used to be a fight dog and when she lost the old owner beat her and left her in the side of the road. We did some investigation and got their whole organization shut down. She’s now the sweetest dog I’ve ever had.❤

I miss my dog. My family had to put him down recently and it was so painful. He was a rescued dog and seeing these videos help me feel better knowing that my family did gave him a home.

I had to put my dog down a couple years ago. I loved him so much and he was only 3 years old. My beautiful baby Loki😔

My dog and I met when he savagely bit my hand. They handed me a towel..and I wrapped it around him. As soon as we were in my car, that tail started wagging. Testing, shots, neutering, and he had a forever home. He died a few months ago at the age of 13. He licked my hand before his final breath. Worth it, so VERY worth it.

I adopted a poodle whose previous owner was a hoarder, they neglected her and kept her in a cage for years. Once I adopted her, she and I were bonded. She learned that she could free go in/out as she pleased, fed very well, loved & cuddled as much as possible. By the end of her life, she died in her sleep surrounded by the ones she loved, passing on in my arms. She was the perfect dog, and I hope I see her first thing when I go

this reminded me of our neighbourhood dog. In my grandmothers neighbourhood theres this dog who everyone in the community just loves and adores, and welcomes him into our houses for food etc. One day, i went to my grandmas house then saw the dog's eye, completly fallen apart. Someone hit him really hard, and he almost looked blind. He just laid down there as my heart shattered. We took him to the vet, in our car. The whole neighbourhood chipped in for the surgery and now the dogs really happy. He's a loveable buddy. We all love him.

Anybody who treats these poor innocent animals like this need to get their lives in check. I have never seen an aggressive dog that hasn’t been abused in some way before. They are the most caring and loyal beings on this planet and some of us take it for granted. I have a pitbull and people are scared because they have a bad reputation for being used in dog fights, but she is the sweetest dog ever.

I always find it so heart warming when a dog in distress gets picked up and then be like "oh". Don't get me wrong the noises dogs make when they are petrified absolutely gets under my skin and I hate it to my core. But as soon as they realize that a persons embrace is not hurting them they calm down really quick. Now this doesn't happen with all dogs many dogs that have been abused by people will not simply relax after being held. This is a particular thing I have noticed with puppies most.

We found my dog Bailey just like that. Cold, skinny and crying for help on the side of the road. We took her to the vet and had to have emergency surgery on most of her body. Turns out she used to be a fight dog and when she lost the old owner beat her and left her in the side of the road. We did some investigation and got their whole organization shut down. She’s now the sweetest dog I’ve ever had.❤
