Hey Doc, I purchased my first home last year (also in GA) and I have been following your program extensively since we moved in. My lawn is the best looking lawn in our entire neighborhood (someone even asked me if I paint it lol), so thank you! However, I have a question about GGRs and how it relates to HORIZONTAL growth/spreading (you mentioned it effecting vertical growth). Due to several downspouts pouring towards one area, water was pooling and killed or severely damaged some areas. Those areas have started to recover and fill in after rerouting my downspouts, but I'm having to cut every 2-3 days. So my question is, will applying the GGR slow down that spreading/horizontal growth progress, or would you recommend just dealing with the frequent cuts until it fills in completely?
Just put down 1st app of PGF complete a few days ago. Gotten approx 2” of rain fall over last two days. Can’t wait to see if it makes a difference on my KBG cool season turf.
If the lawn needs fert...put it down. But I don't think you see AMAZING lateral results. I explain in the GGR video. GGR just impacts the upward growth. The rest stays about the same. So some SAY... they see more.
What is that tree called with all the bees on the flowers called? Found the name similar to yours: rose of sharon, althea hibiscus, morning star. Likes plenty of water to bloom. Hasn't rained in a month here and dropped most of it's flowers.
Congrats on hitting 200k subscribers
Hey Doc, I’m new to the grass game. Any good suggestions on someone who posts good info about st Augustine grass? Thanks so much

can I use the growth Regulator to thicken minor thinned out spots of the lawn? or should I go with the PGF Complete first?
Both
PGF

Yet another great video Doc.
Thanks Doc!
Awesome yard. Beautiful
Doc, if I fertilize before putting down the growth regulator, will that encourage even more lateral growth?

LOL I use this exact same method. Use the dew as a coverage indicator. Brilliant!

What granular growth regulator did you use ??

If iron in fertilizer , would your footmarks and wheelings not show up walking on the wet grass ?😕
Not really. Most is taken up via the roots.
Do you also recommend the PGF application during the morning?
Sure... anything can be put down. It just really helps with perfect coverage.
100 plus degrees, rock base yard, high ground temps, all frying the yard. Natures' growth regulator

$275 for that spreader!! Is it self propelled or am I missing something?
Probably missed the video on the $600 spreader.
Wow, I have yet to see any lawn this season that looks better than your lawn.
Makes sense... you can see exactly what you're doing
