Love your vids bro. Also, the "g" in Agelite is pronounced like the "g" in "agility." Agilite is a portmanteau of Agility and Lite (as in lightweight). Just so you know.
After serving in the IDF, only heard it pronounced agalite not ajilite. There is no "J" sound in Hebrew. You're pronouncing it correctly as far as the israelis are concerned.

Ive been running a gen1 k19 for over a year now, i only have two issues with it, 1)the cumberbund, i wish it was more ridged and had more molle. 2) the shoulder clips will get in the way if you dont have the carrier properly adjusted to your body. Other then that with plates the admin pouch isnt very hard to get into and the shoulder pads are extremely comfortable even after 12 hours of duty type use.
Can confirm this plate carrier is the most comfortable carrier I've ever encountered. I literally own less comfortable winter jackets than this. I own plate backers and they aren't even necessary in this carrier, though there is plenty of room to allow them behind Hesco L210s. Looking forward to customizing the cummerbund and selecting a placard. AMAP III in the Agilite Black Friday sale I hope!
I'd toss those L210s and go with RMA level 4. Hesco has been known to have some sus products and recently recalled some of their plates. The L210s are multi hit rated and are not level 4 NIJ rated.
@@shepherd3085 Their two recalls were on different plates were a couple of years ago. I am also far more likely to run into an AR with green tips in my life than a 30-06 with M2 in it. I do plan on "the actual world is over we have been successfully invaded by a military or oppressed by our own" loadout eventually but special threat plates are not a bad solution for the overwhelming majority of rounds you might actually encounter in home defense/civil unrest. Most people who are likely to break into your home or be an asshat aren't going to do it with a BAR loaded with armor piercing rounds.
Just got mine and oh my what a wonderful piece of art. It feels like and cloud around your body even with plates, AMAP III, and other gear added to it. I have wished it for a long time and when I saw your review I was sure I had to buy it whatever it cost. Thank you again for being such a good a reviewer of gear and love that you are a Agilite fan like me!
I'm just surprised this carrier is so affordable for something that's been battle proven also the backpack. I got both for 500 with taxes. That includes the 3 mag pouch for your front.
This is a great plate carrier with one really big flaw in my experience. The cummerbund as you noted at about 14:15 is way too sharp. It was so sharp it cut through my underlayer and skin in under 30 minutes. It's such hard plastic stitching in such a small are that it puts all that cutting force into less than a mm. It needs a cummerbund redesign or some sort of underpad, even as an option. Sucks because otherwise it's the most comfortable carrier I've ever worn.
I picked up one of these in Multicam black after watching your review, it’s great. Shortly afterwards they released a 3.0 version where you can ditch either side shoulder quick disconnect clips which is nice. Great video and thanks.
Yup this is my number one plate carrier. I went from JPC/JPC 2 and bought this myself. I’m a little bummed about not owning the updated model. I had already bookmarked the AXL card for the future lol. Right now I’m running an Esstac 3 mag pouches with a few pouches on the front. Don’t want to bore anyone but the AMP backpack is great.
Since you're running the esstac placard...the updated version actually wouldn't work as well for you since it's actually missing a molle row. With your current setup, you'ld be better suited for the old version. If you move to a placard, you can easily just add the Axl placard. I'm trying the modular defense mechanisms placards next! -Walsh

Brooo- was rewatching this, I purchased the k19 and was really irritated with the plate bags and the plates bouncing around- but then I saw the straps inside and figiured that's what they were for 10/10- helps alot
The only major thing about the K19 that kind of turns me off about it isn't necessarily a con, since it is a functional design choice, but that webbing that's missing on the cummerbund to fit the fine sizing adjustment is some valuable MOLLE real estate that now isn't available. Other than that, I dig everything about this carrier and definitely wanna snag one!
yea a few people have mentioned that. it's odd the previous version has one more whole MOLLE row on the front. I haven't had an issue with it but I can see where folks may. thanks for the great comment! -Walsh

I hate the popular placard system and how it is dependent on velcro. Favorite part of the K19 is that it doesn't completely rely on the bad velcro system. Great carrier
I bought this, and the first time I put it on it felt better then most plate carriers I’ve worn. However as soon as I took it off the shoulder clip broke THE FIRST TIME. I took it back to the patriot instantly and decided to give it another try. I was told agelite customer service is horrible. So hopefully if the plastic clips break again it’ll be easy to get my hands on new clips.
Did this get fixed for you alright? Agilite can sometimes be tough to get in contact with due to the time difference but hit me up if you didn't get resolution. I'll reach out on your behalf. -Walsh
I don’t know if you’ve figured this out but drop your plate maybe a quarter of an inch and mess with the straps on the right until it sits a little higher and you can shoulder the rifle in that dead spot between the buckle and plate. At least that’s what I did
Lmfao your wife's body language convinced me she was happy to be in the video. Thank her for being a good sport. Showed my wife she could use my carrier too!
Thanks a lot for this review! I went to the Agilite HP and ordered one before the end of the video. They have them in multicam arid right now and that looks pretty awesome.

Dude, you are funny and videos are extremely well made and very informative. I had my mind set on this plate carrier already, but after your review I am hooked. (Being an Israeli I may be a little bias...lol)
Couldn't imagine running so much stuff in the front of my plate carrier. I run 3 mags and thats as much as it pokes out in the front, I also don't keep anything I wouldn't want accidentally crushed for when you need to do those prone/run full speed/prone drills.
the mission dictates what you’re bringing. Question, were you in the service? I never wanted to be caught out in the field without something I really needed. Everyone should just pack what they feel is necessary though. It’s a balance of light is right and staying in the fight.
@@nastystang113 Right...because that what your mission dictates as you know your duty use requirements. If your mission is home defense, a patrol setup would be silly. Regulations prevent me from saying what I do. -Walsh
@@nastystang113 I setup my plate carrier for what I know I'll always need on my plate carrier and nothing less or more, maybe a few things here and there, but nothing major, because unhooking and rehooking molle is a pain in the fucking ass and I hate changing stuff out. Then there's the stuff on the belt which is also always the same. Then there's the backpack (the large and the small one). Basically all of those things I have setup so they can exist without needing the other parts. Maybe minus the backpack, since that has no firearms attached to it. I'm not saying don't carry stuff on your plate carrier. I'm saying don't carry stuff on your plate carrier that would prevent you from slamming prone or would crush certain items if you slammed prone. Carry as much as you want/willing to, just remember that walking long distances with plenty of shit on you for no good reason is not thinking objectively.
Great video and detailed review of this product. Thank you. The only thing I would say about proper fit is the rifle. I see far too many people having their stocks extended out way too far. I am 6'1" and mine is usually all the way inward, meaning my nose is pretty much touching the charging handle. This way, I can face the threat directly and get the most coverage of the plate over my vitals. This makes shouldering much easier and more intuitive instead of pointing the rifle across my centerline (diagonally). Something to think about and try. But it has worked well for me and I have never felt hampered by any plate carrier design, since more of my shoulder is available for the butt stock.
I havent had good experience with the QD mounts. Unless I am a doop and dont realize how to quickly adjust them, I have issues getting a tight fit based on the lack of adjustment. For example, if we were finishing up chow and were called out at a moments notice, simply having a full belly can make fitment a little off. Having simple velcro straps is the most effective for quick precise fitting. Also, QD points on the shoulders just get in the way of your stock. Also, I have gotten the pull tab wedged into the QD release, effectively removing the QD function in the heat of the moment.
The levels of detail and thought you put into this was an obvious instant subscription. Might as well be working for the company with how much you covered. 🤣
Everything Crye makes (PC-wise, at least), except for the AVS system, is SO over-hyped it's not funny. Like yeah, it looks cool and is issued to a lot of the "cool guys" downrange doing stuff, but that's where the coolness ends. If you actually look closely at the designs of most of their stuff, there's a bunch of companies doing it way better for the same or less money. Just my 2 cents. I'm a tactical gear noob, so take my comments with a grain of salt lol.
hmm it would be hard to get my camera in there to show it exactly. I put the plate so the straps are to the outside then pull them all the way out and fold over the plate bag tab but don't tuck it in yet. run the straps through the slits and then tuck the plate bag flap against the plate inside the carrier. You'll have to also pull the straps as you do this. Don't close the top though. Then tuck the straps into the plate bag, pulling tightly and connect the strap back into itself. do this for both sides then tighten the top. hope that helps! -Walsh
which ones you looking for? The front placard is the HRT maximus which is great and the Defense Mechanisms placard is really really nice too. lemme know which ones you mean and I can help! -Walsh
Hello, what’s the comms holder and does it easily just attach to the cumber. I was just looking at the spiritus systems expander wing mk2. Not sure if it will work with this for a Baofeng.
I forget what is in this video but the expander wing mk2 is the better option. It just works perfectly on the k19. I replaced ...whatever that was..with the expander wings. -Walsh
I would highly recommend the K19. But if you do get it. I would recommend getting the backpack with it. It integrates with the carrier. The carrier is light and it's comfortable. It beats AR500's valkyrie for 40% of the price. You don't even need to customize this carrier. It already has everything you can possibly need and more.
Hi man ! Very informative! QUESTION! Does the agilite k19 2.0 come with the placard buckles ? I’ve looked online and I can’t find it anywhere??? If they don’t do you know what kind to get and where ? Thanks if you answer this question !
I’m looking to load out a vest to throw over my BP vest which will be under my uniform. I’m wondering how this vest would do with the cummerbund that it comes with. I’m so confused on which way to go as I’m not throwing it directly over my body. It will be ICW and I’m wondering what my best option would be.
4:50 Those are ROC Buckles, not Tubes. ROC Buckles only go one way at a time (you can flip the cummerbund if you want the buckle to go the opposite way), and actual First Spear Tubes can attach from either direction. Just a heads-up. They look like Tubes, but operate differently lol.
pretty sure thats a thing 2 but I use the Spiritus Systems expander wings now as they work perfectly with the K19 to ride under the cummerbund. You could technically use both though.
@@ThinLineDefenseCo Yes it does. I'm still waiting on my carrier, but was concerned that it might overrun the cummerbund because it has less available MOLLE then usual. I guess I could always just run a back strap around the carrier if it does.
Missed a step on the shoulder strap adjustment. You have to undo the velcro where the straps attach to the plate bag to adjust there too. This can be avoided with small adjustments but will bunch up if you need to adjust a fair bit. I also dislike the tubes qd on the shoulders. Gets in the way when shouldering the rifle. I find myself canting the rifle to get a comfortable shoulder/cheek weld.
Thank you soo much for this video! Great job! You answered all my concerns about the V1 and V2 K19. I was bummed because I thought I had to buy a V2 (I just for the Agilite Pincer you also reviewed). 👍
May I ask, where did you get that MULTICAM “Solitaire” or playing card patch? I’d like to pick one up to rock on this plate carrier as well! Thank you!
It would be possible but it would have some issues as you'd need to secure it in my places than just the center. One idea we played with was using the Axl adaptive vest placard on the rear to add in the defense mechanism MOLLE cummerbund. That's a badass combo.
Great review, looks comfortable. BTW I may be crazy but when your wife was modeling it for fit and when you went prone it seemed like your back plate was in backwards. Could it have been even more comfortable if worn with correct plate orientation? 🤔
Why do you choose to not have side plates I can't decide if I want them or not I know a pro is that I'll have that protected and a con is the extra weight but is there anything else to consider
You hit the nail on the head... Weight... And cost. The likelihood of me needing them is low... So I don't run side plates generally as the cost isn't substantiated. I would definitely add a set to the K19 though if I felt the need was there. Hope that helps! -Walsh
@@Krazyirish13 I think Cody has that one. I'll have to ask him! I haven't gotten to dig into in detail myself. I'll see what he thinks though. Most of the shellback stuff is really really nice though. You can't go wrong there.
What front placard are you using to allow you to have pouches over the quick release? My only gripe with this carrier is that I can't place my radio just to the side of the front. So I have to place my radio right under my armpits which isn't ideal.
Really like the k19, but wondering how well it wil fit a bigger guy like me I'm 6-2 and 250, so wondering if the one size fits all would fit or be too tight.
Probably not too tight..but it's much smaller than it looks..I'm 5'6 175lbs but I'm big from weightlifting for years and it looks small on me..but it covers all the vitals.
I wonder if the shooter side quick de-attach could be removed. You absolutely don't need it on both sides, and interfering with stock placement is a big no no
Hmm no it can't. I will say that I review a crap ton of carriers and 99% don't allow you to shoulder or cause some sort of odd issue. It's why you'll see guys placing the stock on the outside or inside of the carrier
@@media6969 that's because the Israelis are known for place the buttstock pretty much in the collar bone. Not saying that incorrect way of shouldering the rifle and maybe best for this who run their stocks close in but some of us are more "extended " stock guys guys wich isn't ideal.
Would like to see solid side coverage with soft-armor options (Lvl-II and III-A), a "U" cut higher under the arms (maybe a 4-row replicating fit of concealment body armor?) and all Velcro in matching MultiCam. Dig it otherwise.

Love your vids bro. Also, the "g" in Agelite is pronounced like the "g" in "agility." Agilite is a portmanteau of Agility and Lite (as in lightweight). Just so you know.
Haha yea someone corrected me. Too much southern I suppose.
After serving in the IDF, only heard it pronounced agalite not ajilite. There is no "J" sound in Hebrew. You're pronouncing it correctly as far as the israelis are concerned.
@Thin Line Defense Co hey don't put that on us! That's all on you. 😂😅
@@ThinLineDefenseCo how do you have your knife mounted behind the AXL adapter like that? I can not for the life of me figure out how you did it.. but i really want to do it myself 😆
The "e" in agelite should be "i" Agilite
Great review between the two. I have the V1 and had to add the AXL placard. Easy enough but would have been nice to have the V2. Customer service above and beyond expectations. Just buy this and don’t think twice.
Concur. I prefer the V2 but if you have the v1 you don't have to have a whole new carrier. I'm with you though.... I like the new one.
Thanks for sharing and for watching!

Looking for some help here.. I have the K19 V2 & got a Haley Strategic D3CR for it. Do you happen to know what buckle piece I should get to support the weight from above? I know AXL offers the AVP for the first version K19, but I'm struggling to find the right brand that offers the buckles I need to support the placards weight. Thanks for any info (including the name of the piece I need).
@@djmeasures bro I have the exact same question, did you find a solution for that already?
Most people who are likely to break into your home or be an asshat aren't going to do it with a BAR loaded with armor piercing rounds.
have you tried the IDF plate carier from marom dolphin? Here we use the "Amran" model with an intresting back support system!
Nice in-depth review. Just ordered K19 2.0.

@@ThinLineDefenseCo I did the opposite, I subscribed, and I’m not a impatient person when it comes to buying myself anything… after your video, I went to agility and put it in my cart
Brooo- was rewatching this, I purchased the k19 and was really irritated with the plate bags and the plates bouncing around- but then I saw the straps inside and figiured that's what they were for
10/10- helps alot
oh yea haah I love those!
-Walsh
Same! I’m a little heftier so my side plates sit more forward towards my front instead of directly on my sides.
Thank you for the great information AND your sense of humor. Can you describe your radio pouch and how it is mounted?
Sure thing. My radio pouch claims to be shy, but she secretly loves things shoved in her. When not holding 2.6 lbs of juiced PRC-152 goodness, she enjoys relaxing evenings reading books or listening to her favorite murder mystery podcasts.

@@ThinLineDefenseCo LOL.
I hate the popular placard system and how it is dependent on velcro. Favorite part of the K19 is that it doesn't completely rely on the bad velcro system. Great carrier
And I think that's what great, you have the option if you have a preference. Some companies just decide for you.
At least that’s what I did
You had me at the PB&J pouch.

Couldn't imagine running so much stuff in the front of my plate carrier. I run 3 mags and thats as much as it pokes out in the front, I also don't keep anything I wouldn't want accidentally crushed for when you need to do those prone/run full speed/prone drills.
If the pb&j gets crushed.... I'll still eat it lol
the mission dictates what you’re bringing.
@@ThinLineDefenseCo well you’re obviously AirForce my guess would be an Intel fella
Bought mine yesterday I'm excited to get it and test it out
Absolutely fantastic review! Thank you so much! Keep up the great work!
Great review. Your back sappi may be backwards. However you went into more depth and took time on each section of the flak. Thank you
haha I noticed that after I recorded it. The wife was NOT doing that again. So...you get what you get lol
-Walsh
The levels of detail and thought you put into this was an obvious instant subscription. Might as well be working for the company with how much you covered. 🤣
I love that carrier lol
This PC is underrated. Easily the best and replaces a lot of Crye. EASILY.
I have to agree on a lot of fronts... That crye SPC cummerbund attachment is so bad.
Greetings can you show a specific video of how to strap the plates down I am using RMA plates but I can't figure out how to use the straps
hmm it would be hard to get my camera in there to show it exactly.
-Walsh
@@ThinLineDefenseCo thanks I got it figured out had straps on wrong side of plate.

I asked you a question about 3 choices I had but Now I know the Answer!!!👍
Does this accept side swift clips to be placed on the cummerbund to attach something like the Haley Strategic D3CR Heavy?
Hello sir could you please put in a link for the swift clips you need to attach a placard to this pc or is it just going to be the 911 swift clips
good call, added to the description under "ITW QASM" clips
How did you attach the side pouch (on the cummerbund) to the front placard ?
I'd be curious to see how well those plate straps hook up with "shooters" or "swimmers" cut plates.
they hook from the bottom so it should be fine but good idea to test. I got some swimmers on the list.
The K19 looks like the ideal plate carrier to me, I haven't personally seen anything better on the market

Semantics. But sure.
What side attachments and radio pouch do you have? And how did you connect them?
pretty sure thats a thing 2 but I use the Spiritus Systems expander wings now as they work perfectly with the K19 to ride under the cummerbund. You could technically use both though.
Do you have any tips for mounting a larger "placard" to the plate carrier? Something like a Velocity Systems UW for example.
does the placard have side buckles? I usually hook the larger ones into the cummerbund with some sort of buckle system to keep them laid down
-Walsh
@@ThinLineDefenseCo Yes it does. I'm still waiting on my carrier, but was concerned that it might overrun the cummerbund because it has less available MOLLE then usual. I guess I could always just run a back strap around the carrier if it does.
I like the wolf grey ,but they dont have a lot of pouches and packs in that color to make it all the same color
Does anyone know if the K19 comes with the clips to connect the placard?
It does not. I got the ITW QASM clips from milspec monkey
Very true on the adjustment. And the new 2.5 version let's you remove the QDs if you want to.

Probably not too tight..but it's much smaller than it looks..I'm 5'6 175lbs but I'm big from weightlifting for years and it looks small on me..but it covers all the vitals.
