Glee at its creative peak... and before they started to add too much new characters! Viewers were too invested with the original cast! The new faces diluted the winning formula.

It's probably because Kurt's voice probably didn't suit it well enough. (He had a really nice and elegant but Finn's voice was raspy and really suited this song)
I know I'm older than anyone here but when this movie came out it was such a cult classic that one of our theaters would show this movie every Saturday night at 12 and everyone would show up as their favorite characters and dance with the screen and watching glee do this and do it so well like they did in most all their performances makes me so happy but so sad it ended as I got into it... What I would give to have them start all over again with other songs but it would be missing one of my favorites Finn Hudson... But still congrats on a amazing show and to all the singers and dancers on there throughout every season, well done!
Took me years to realize why this was so great and somewhat different from all there other performances, and realized it's cause Rachel wasn't leading lol. I don't particularly hate the character but it's nice and refreshing to see others in the crew take the spotlight and lead

Man, Cory Monteith improved SO MUCH as a singer in such a short period of time! I know most of the cast came in as experienced singers, but out of the ones who clearly weren't singers, I feel he was the only one who put in serious effort to learn technique.
