The Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible is absolutely phenomenal! I was thirsting to dive deeper into the text than ever before and the historical content is just so well rounding as well as the commentary and Hebrew transliteration lists. I also want to read the archeological one!

I like the Thompson Chair Reference too. When I was 14 in the 1980's a couple from church gave me a leather KJV TCR which I carried through high school and wore it out. I just bought the new TCR in the NIV and am enjoying using it.

Your videos have been helpful for me. I have read through the Henry Morris s.b. and when I watched this video today, I realized this must have been due to your introduction in one of your videos. It was a couple of years ago now and it took me a year, but I so enjoyed that bible. Last year I read Dake (wow what a Bible also but a little heavy packed for daily use may be). And this year Im reading the ESV s.b. One thing that strikes me compared to the Henry Morris s.b. is that the ESV s.b. has more material, but often when I look to the notes for information on a passage there’s nothing on what I’m looking for. A little disappointing on such a huge bible actually. The Henry Morris was opposite. It has less information, but still often answered just the questions that I had. I got a feeling I had a pastor/teacher on my shoulder when reading that Bible. Wonderful feeling. That said I think he’s wrong on the gifts of the Spirit, but otherwise this has been the Bible I have felt the most love for reading through. But it’s thick 😊
Started out with scofield and Thompson chain. Currently my favorites are Tony Evans and kjv apologetics. I do have the life application, but it is quite a "brick".
Thompson Chain, just got to get it. Life application is one of my targets once they come out with the kjv 3rd edition, hopefully in genuine leather.

My FAVORITE KJV Bible is on your list: the Life in the Spirit Study Bible. What a great Spirit-filled Bible! I’m not Pentecostal but I was baptized in a Pentecostal Church in Idaho Falls, Idaho, in the Snake River in 1981 when I was 7 (!), and love the content of this Bible. My second is Thomas Nelson’s Full Colored KJV Study Bible. I’m at a disadvantage however, is I don’t have a Thompson’s. Thanks for the video!

Good Morning Pastor Waldron; I was wondering if you have been able to approach Thomas Nelson about reprinting the Dugan Topical Reference Bible. I saw your original review of it and believe that it has so many valuable tools to study the scriptures. I have not been able to find a copy of the Dugan version.
Also Nave's topical/study Bible too.
