@@TheProvokedPrawn It looks like the side buttons are easier to reach on this one compared to the old dark core. I just bought the old version of the dark core and I'm having trouble reaching the forward button. Can you confirm?
@@WarDawg04 yeah good for blowing loose dust out of small places, not so much for congealed grease and oil combined with food matter, sweat and skin cells. Plus wouldn't you rather just NOT have to?
Honestly even if they did copy the design of the 502, I'd love it, since I've been wanting to move away from Logitech's software for so long but can't find anything to replace my G502. Kinda sad there's no side buttons on the mousewheel though.
I always wondered why my face appears symmetrical but the lines on my palms are wildly asymmetrical... on the right there is a single fold that runs across the entire span, which I heard in some chinese cultures means one is destined to kill... probably because genetics for such a folding pattern on the dominant hand is designed for wielding some kind of... thing that causes you to fold your hand in such a way as to make such a fold

Side buttons are really mushy/cheap feeling, and with my hand size and grip style I cannot reach M5 nor the "sniper" button. Also, one of the lights in the wheel are not what I set it to. Another little nitpick is that when scrolling my finger hits the profile button in an unpleasant way. I never plan to change my DPI or profile during use, so I really could do away with those buttons for just a better feel.
about to return mine, honestly fits my hand perfectly, however the DPI buttons can not be disabled without corsair iCue, this becomes an issue when iCue causes hard system crashes non stop, after all these years being a corsair fan boy im going to offload the lot to try something else. This is a known iCue problem and Corsair has not even attempted to resolve the issue

I'm looking to jump to keyboard and mouse for gaming, and oddly this type of mouse feels more comfortable than I originally thought it would. Feels much better, with less drag, than traditional mice.
i wanted to like this mouse but the sniper button is to far up in my opinion, and i have pretty big hand. another issue was for FPS games...its downright terrible due to the lift off distance being equal to a mile off the mouse pad. such a shame because it feels really good, i'd almost say it feels better than the G502
i cant edit any DPI settings and the HW DPI modes wont switch when i make a new profile. cant i just have the 3 modes and edit them to switch between DPI and rgb together?
The Provoked Prawn Have u experienced any issues on the Dark Core with the scroll wheel breaking? That’s a common problem. And what would u recommend as the best extra large but lightweight mouse?
@@Naomi1 Just curious ive had many mice over the years that have the side clik scroll wheel but never ever use them because the actions they perform always seemed painfully slow , what exactly do you use it for so much that it makes this a deal breaker ?
@@vodkasour8385 I play mmorpg that requires lots of buttons and 2 buttons left and right with the scrollwheel gives you infact 4 buttons if you combine them with shift, its really easy and fast to click too

For my laptop i want wireless but im building a desktop and a wired mouse makes way more sense for me since it wont be leaving my desk

I wish they had this exact mouse made wirelessly. I love the extra side button it has because I usually map my jumping key to it.
i know right. the dark core doesn't have the button and the iron claw is a little different. to bad the new m65 wireless got recalled in the states
Looks cool and all but i imagine that perforated look on palm and thumb wrest get filled with dirt and gunk easily and tough to clean.

I did not even know people used a mouse with their right hand, im left handed and i have been using it with my right hand all along

I believe so yes. It's been a while since I saw it but you can usually reprogram all the buttons including the sniper button too

you have to have long fingers to access sniper button plus cue software causes game to stutter otherwise software is ok ill give 3 of 10
