The double sink will be just the job for your kitchen, Alla . What a beautiful sunset you need to paint it.❤ getting there for the building of room ❤🎉❤loved watching 😊
Perhaps the single sink in your indoor kitchen, double sink in laundry room so it could also be used for your gardening and perhaps if you needed to soak some clothes, drapes, etc. Also you will have a dishwasher, not sure double sink is required
I think the double sink maybe better in the outside space where you are going to be potting plants and seedlings and gardening bits. Inside you will have a dishwasher so maybe you will only need the smaller sink. ❤
Hieee 👋 please listen to your gut!! I too love marble, but in this case the color of the marble sink doesn't work with the room. You said it yourself, the marble sink's colors are blueish/grey (cold) & the room has warm color palate. Also, seems shallow in the picture. If it is, water will be splashing on the floors. As for the porcelain sinks, I think the one you have upstairs would be very nice. Whatever you decide I'm sure will be perfect 😊 Keep up the great work guys👏👏👏 🌱🐞
Double sink is good for pots, and also cleaning your veggies and fruit and garden flowers. Single sink would look on an Island counter as a secondary sink.😀😊
My vote would be for the smaller ceramic sink. The larger sink looks too big?? and i agree the grey marble won't match so well?? You're the expert and you'll make the best choice. 👌
What you will need in the kitchen in the house kitchen is a sink that is deep enough to clean big pots, I have a dual sink in my kitchen and it’s the worst for cleaning stockpots. Roasting pans etc. I wish I had a large deep single sink. I would put the big double sink in your summer kitchen. But whatever you do, it has to be pleasing to yourself and Sergei. You are both doing a wonderful job. Love your home. Please take time for self care and rest is important so you don’t get burn out. Cherie is lovely. Take care of yourselves. Sunset walk are a nice time to unwind and relax for the evening. ❤❤❤
Beauty in kitchen, so marble. In laundry, my experience would be a double sink-especially for flower arrangements and for felting. Think about how you may use the laundry room in future, and then make a decision. “Walted ceiling” leave it. We understood. What I would do is a bucket a day of vaulted ceilings, and then structure work. In the spring, your garden will be calling you to play. Love your channel. My husband is now a fan…likes the jazz!
My vote is for the double ceramic sink for the kitchen - maybe you can have marble for the counter tops. You might want to use the smaller ceramic sink in another part of the house.
Alla, I think you'll find the double sink more useful for your kitchen. You can buy epoxy repair kits for that chip, and the built-in drain board will be an added bonus. As to the misspelling, I saw it and just thought that you were spelling phonetically, LOL. I haven't heard you mention how many languages you speak, but I am sure it is several, and I am envious of that ability. Don't fret about it, just a late-night slip.
The one your neighbor gave you that one is vintage and beautiful. Marble stains easy and you have to upkeep the marble and depth is not practical not deep enough. The scratches on the double sink can be fixed filled in sanded sealed. That the sink you should use
For all the reasons stated agree a double sink is more practical. Try putting a cardboard model of the top dimension of each sink to see which fits best. Also can you rent a shotcrete machine or mini mortar sprayer ? Might be a good investment if you have lots more projects involving concrete. 😊
Alla, I think you get filler for chips in ceramic sinks. I think you will really like the double sink. A double sink is so convenient and ceramic is nice looking against a marble countertop. I have double sinks and I wouldn't exchange them for anything.
I have a double sink and it’s nice but a pain. If I had to do it again I would opt for a deep sing long sink as the dbl is not convenient for washing big pans, roast g pans and other kitchen jobs.
If you can fit the longest sink in the laundry room, it will be very useful for planting plants, washing sherri, cleaning brushes, doing projects. So useful. The kitchen sink has to fit your idea for the kitchen. Any of the others would be good for that. I think only one will fit. But I also think the marble sink has a very small work space which may become a frustration in future.❤
Alla, the double sink will be so useful with a draining area, two bowls and ceramic is far more durable than marble. A little damage is not terrible, age is expected in a home like yours.
Alla, you will hate having marble sink in the kitchen- they stain with everything you put into it! Oils, wines, juice, grease, everything! The marble sink is ok for a bathroom, but you already have 3 sinks! Remember, you will have to wash large pots in your kitchen- a larger sink will be more suitable in front of your window, too. Clean it up, and repair the one chip (in the double sink🤭) they make a ceramic repair kit that will be just enough to fix the chip! Good luck! Oh, be grateful you only have sinks in the garden, it could be a toilet!😳🫣😂
Love the old marble sink but the pan is SO small, I think you will miss having a larger sink. The small ceramic sink is very small as well so again, not much space for washing dishes, veggies, etc. The big double ceramic sink is great....but it might be too bit....you'll have to see what it looks like in the space. I have just a small pan sink when I lived in Moscow and when I built my log cabin, I put a triple sink in the kitchen and another sink in the island.....no more small sinks for me! You could install the marble sink in the garden area and use it to wash off veggies and fruit before bringing them into the house. The grey blue will look good in the garden! You'll soon figure out which sink to use in the kitchen! Cheers!
Hi Alla! If the double sink fits, I believe you’ll find it to be more practical. Do buy a tall modern faucet with built-in sprayer so you can fill big pots. In my experience, it’s worth spending the money to buy one that’s well-made and durable so it lasts a long time. Though marble is pretty, it stains very easily and requires a lot of maintenance. With the shallow bowl, that particular marble sink looks like it’s meant for a bathroom. The ceramic sink chips can be filled, sanded, & painted. There’s a special kit for that purpose. Please do try to get good sleep. You must be exhausted! Love your videos!
How romantic! Sunset walks before a delicious dinner with Prosecco! Love the ceramic sinks. Would you believe I remember being bathed as a baby in one at my grandmothers? You’re probably going to have to base your decision on which sink you pick according to what fits best in your counter area. I love them all; looks like the deep sink on your patio is for the laundry room? That’s a good decision.
Love the longer sink. Two sinks are better. On one side, you can put your dirty dishes in and still have the other side to use for the day. And when you are ready to clean dishes for the dishwasher, you can. You really need the longer one. Good luck with your decision. ❤And don't apologize for your grammar. You work very hard and in bad weather conditions. Everyone should understand. You are fine.😊❤
Your kitchen area is quite compact. I think a smaller sink, like the size upstairs, would be better, more practical. Marble would be lovely, but not as strong as ceramic. When you said, “In 50 years, how many people from now will have an antique sink?” I could not help myself, dear Alla, in my mind I said, “All of them!” Like the silly joke of “How many dead people are buried in this cemetery?” The answer, of course, is, “All of them!” 😂 The light in the sky was amazing, especially when looking at the Swiss Alps. You live in a magical place!
Marble will break easy , large sink in kitchen for vegetables, pots, at same time and deep sink in laundry. Use marble in another bath where less wear and tear.
The double sink is wonderful. If it isn't what you want, then even free isn’t worth it. Get what you want. With that said...go see if you can find and afford your vision.
Since you have a summer kitchen for lots of pots etc., I think a creamy marble sink for the kitchen would look best. A rectangular shaped one piece marble would be so pretty with the counters supporting it for extra room and dish drainage. They can cut the marble with indentations for dish water drainage to the right or left of the sink. The round one that you have pictured would be too small for dishes. Good luck in all your endeavors. Love watching your progress.
Hi Alla! ❤ About the sinks, you know what you will be washing there. So you have the laundry and the kitchen. Think of the jobs you will be doing in both, and I think it’ll help you decide! If I were you, I would put the long one in the kitchen and the deep, square one that’s in your back yard in the laundry. But the final decision is yours!
What a difficult decision! I like the longer sink as it will be very practical for washing vegetables in one and dishes in the other. As you like to entertain I think you will need the bigger one. Having said that I know what it’s like to have your heart set on something , marble would be beautiful but I think the one pictured is the wrong colour and too small! Cherie is so lovely she has the sweetest face. Take good care of yourself Alla. ❤
Greetings from Palm Springs California! I would recommend that you use the smaller sink that is upstairs in the kitchen. The larger double sink is perfect for the laundry room. Best wishes always, Moody. 🤓
Ciao Alla, I like the double sink, I think you will be happy with that as well, especially if you like to have dinner parties. Every day brings you one day closer to the finish line. Well done. Love from N.Y.
I think that the smaller ceramic sink being stored on the third floor would be my first choice. The size looks more suitable for the space and cabinet. Also, the white ceramic finish will make it easier for you to choose a marble for the counter top. You will be more restricted in your choices with the marble one. Good luck!
LOL we did have a little giggle over the Walter Ceiling...glad I told you! LOL 😅 I agree with most people that if you have the space, go for the larger sink in your kitchen. Otherwise a long large marble sink is always great too. 😍🥰😘
Love the traditional ceramic long sink as not only goes with your color scheme but you’ll be grateful to have 2 sinks to work with side by side. (Loved the first house of mine with double sink-so useful!) marble is a pain to keep clean looking! Ever think of quartz for your counters next to the sink-don’t think you would need much of it on either side if you go with the longer sink.
I love both sinks and think they both have positives and negatives. The double sink is, in my opinion, most practical, but it’s really big in a small kitchen. The small sink wouldn’t take up as much counter space, but it’s very small for big pots and party dishes. I’m from America and we are used to bigger sinks so maybe that’s my bias. On the other hand, if you can afford the marble sink then you should buy it! I think you really want it and are working hard to save money other ways and should splurge on what you love.
Which sink will fit the span of the window? My preference would be the larger sinks. Just because the extra space will be welcome, when doing a lot of dishes.
Hi Alla, I’d use the double sink in the laundry, washing, rinsing laundry, especially in the summer, saving on electricity. The smaller sink in the kitchen, especially as you are getting a dishwasher. I think you can get a product to use on chipped porcelain, need to research this though, good luck
Having a double sink is sooo much better than a single small. With a double you can have your dishes separated, the wash part and the rinse part. Or like I do, I have a tub of hot sudsy wash water on one side, then i rinse the dish under running water in the next sink, so it doesn't fill up the wash tub. Then I put the dish on the drainer. It would be very crowded to have only one smaller sink! The sunset was amazing!!!
I think you will be very happy to have a double sink in the kitchen. You can get ceramic repair kits that work really well on chips and scratches. You can even re-surface it but will need a special type of paint.
I would definitely use either the double sink or single sink rather than a marble sink. I would measure the oven racks if you know what cooker you will buy. Ideally you can lay the racks flat to soak and make cleaning easy. Think practically to make cooking a pleasure, make cleaning easier so you can enjoy the pleasure of cooking. Love the look of a marble sink but not worth the aesthetics over practicality inthe kitchen. ❤
All the sinks are beautiful. I’ve had both single and double sinks in my kitchens. I prefer a double sink as you can soak items in one while washing up in the other. Good for rinsing dishes as well. ❤ Looking forward in your decision and design.
I love the double sink but you have a small kitchen and the small one would fit the space better. Otherwise wait for a marble one so you will be totally happy.
Double sink will be very useful in the kitchen, also it has only the one chip, whereas the smaller ceramic sink has so many, many chips. And if you put the smaller sink, later you will say to yourselves, oh, we should have put the larger sink.
Hello, you are both doing such a lot towards your lovely home in it's beautiful setting, very interesting. You often refer to your " back yard "....my question is: I wonder, do you have a front yard that we haven't seen yet? I am so impressed with what you've achieved with the stone walls and terraces, not to mention the lovely plants you've selected. Fantastic projects! I agree that when the garden is your happy place, it is an escape from the more difficult, slower paced work inside the house, and the results are such an encouragement every time you walk through the garden, or sit in the prosecco corner all through summer and autumn. Best wishes😊
I think maybe the smaller sink would be fine in your kitchen. Perhaps you could use the bigger one your neighbours gave you in the other caves in the future for washing all of the wind glasses? Great win the laundry room. It will be there soon 💪
Hi from Australian, I think that the double sink is best because if you entertain you can fill one with ice for drinks it’s very handy and. I think you have enough room .
The double sink is much more useful in the kitchen and it's gorgeous. For all you will have a dishwasher not all your china and antique glass ware will be able to go in it. The marble sink on a chunky wood pedestal in a bathroom.
I would take both sinks and place each in the space to see how it feels to you then perhaps you can get a better idea as to whether or not you would prefer the marble one.
This IS a tough decision, I think the double sink with the drain board would work best in the kitchen. The other sink would be best in the laundry it appears the size is a better scale ,if you love the marble sink would it work in another bathroom in the house? I’m not sure if you have another bathroom upstairs. I know what ever you do it will be beautiful.
I would use the double sink with draining board. You don’t need a marble sink. Why spend money on that. When you could use the money elsewhere.
Sono d’accordo! Double sink ❤
The small sink makes more sense for your space.
Double sinks are the best.Especially for pots and pans
There deeper great for giving a baby a bath in 😂
Sono d’accordo. Double sink for the win
Double sink! Way more useful.
Ceramic is more durable and easier to maintain too. Put your antique marble in other areas of the house.
You would be best off with the double sink & drain board.....
I love my porceline double kitchen sink 😊
The double sink will be just the job for your kitchen, Alla . What a beautiful sunset you need to paint it.❤ getting there for the building of room ❤🎉❤loved watching 😊
I agree. Double sinks.
Perhaps the single sink in your indoor kitchen, double sink in laundry room so it could also be used for your gardening and perhaps if you needed to soak some clothes, drapes, etc. Also you will have a dishwasher, not sure double sink is required

Keep up the great work guys👏👏👏 🌱🐞
Double sink is good for pots, and also cleaning your veggies and fruit and garden flowers. Single sink would look on an Island counter as a secondary sink.😀😊
I think the double sink is too big for your cabinet system. Sink upstairs would fit better, but it's your choice!
The long sink because it hasn't so many chips, and the double sink is always useful. I would choose the long one for the kitchen.
The cute one upstairs one bowl is all you need with a dishwasher! Your kitchen your choice.❤
Love the small ceramic for your space….considering space, it seems the best choice….. especially since you are having a dishwasher.
My vote would be for the smaller ceramic sink. The larger sink looks too big?? and i agree the grey marble won't match so well?? You're the expert and you'll make the best choice. 👌
Ceramic sinks can be reglazed to repair the chips. For me, the sink upstairs you showed would be too small for a kitchen.
Definitely use the double sink for your kitchen for practicality and use the deepest single sink in the laundry to wash your doggy! 🐶
Shorter would leave u more room for counter tops
Beauty in kitchen, so marble. In laundry, my experience would be a double sink-especially for flower arrangements and for felting. You have an interesting thought re the flower arranging ☺️
Hello from Sydney … I really really enjoy your content and think you and your husband are amazing. ☺️🇦🇺🙏🏼🍷
I like the double sinks as well.
A sink has to be deep enough to clean big pots that you can’t wash in dishwasher. Which sink would serve you better?
My vote is for the double ceramic sink for the kitchen - maybe you can have marble for the counter tops. You might want to use the smaller ceramic sink in another part of the house.
Alla, I think you'll find the double sink more useful for your kitchen. You can buy epoxy repair kits for that chip, and the built-in drain board will be an added bonus. When you have a dishwasher, you don’t really need a double sink especially since you have a small run of cabinets. The marble one is so unique!
The one your neighbor gave you that one is vintage and beautiful. Marble stains easy and you have to upkeep the marble and depth is not practical not deep enough. The scratches on the double sink can be fixed filled in sanded sealed. That the sink you should use
I think The longer one will be more useful. You will be able to wash in one side and rinse in the other. Thanks for the video.
For all the reasons stated agree a double sink is more practical. Try putting a cardboard model of the top dimension of each sink to see which fits best. Also can you rent a shotcrete machine or mini mortar sprayer ? Might be a good investment if you have lots more projects involving concrete. 😊
I had a double sink with the drain just like yours in my first house. You will love it.
The double sink is more useful and you don't want to regret later that you did not choose this. You can put a marble one in a guest bedroom
I like a double sink, one side for washing dishes and the other for rinsing. They're all beautiful though.

I agree with longer sink in laundry room
I also agree. Much more useful to have the double in the laundry. The sink in the attic for the kitchen!!!!!🇦🇺🇦🇺
My vote for the sinks is the large double sink.😊
Alla, the double sink will be so useful with a draining area, two bowls and ceramic is far more durable than marble. A little damage is not terrible, age is expected in a home like yours.

Clean it up, and repair the one chip (in the double sink🤭) they make a ceramic repair kit that will be just enough to fix the chip! Good luck!
Oh, be grateful you only have sinks in the garden, it could be a toilet!😳🫣😂
I love the big sink if it will fit. I don’t think the grey will go well with your colour scheme, and having a big sink and drainer is always better!
OOOOH!! I LOVE THAT SINK!! It’s so charming!! They just GAVE it to you?!! Wow! Nice neighbors!!
Cheers!
You can repair that chip use it it’s fee and is a perfect for a kitchen why spend money when you don’t have to clean it up and it will look great
I would go with one of the ceramic sinks. The marble sink is beautiful but too shallow
The double sink is good one side wash one side rinse. Holds more dirty dishes to hide if you don’t get them done right away.
Do the classic ceramic but do a high end faucet
Love the longer sink. Two sinks are better. On one side, you can put your dirty dishes in and still have the other side to use for the day. And when you are ready to clean dishes for the dishwasher, you can. You really need the longer one. Good luck with your decision. ❤And don't apologize for your grammar. You work very hard and in bad weather conditions. Everyone should understand. You are fine.😊❤
The shorter sink would look best
Your kitchen area is quite compact. I think a smaller sink, like the size upstairs, would be better, more practical. Marble would be lovely, but not as strong as ceramic.
When you said, “In 50 years, how many people from now will have an antique sink?” I could not help myself, dear Alla, in my mind I said, “All of them!” Like the silly joke of “How many dead people are buried in this cemetery?” The answer, of course, is, “All of them!” 😂
The light in the sky was amazing, especially when looking at the Swiss Alps. You live in a magical place!
Marble will break easy , large sink in kitchen for vegetables, pots, at same time and deep sink in laundry. Use marble in another bath where less wear and tear.
I think the long double sink for the kitchen. The small upstairs one is ideal for a bathroom.
I like the double sink. But it’s your kitchen and you have a dream of what you want it to look like. Anything you choose will be beautiful.
Sono d’accordo. The double sink in the long run you will appreciate more AND there are patch kits for porcelain
I like the shorter sink outside, just have it restored and painted & the chip repaired. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
The double sink is wonderful. If it isn't what you want, then even free isn’t worth it. Get what you want. With that said...go see if you can find and afford your vision.
My pick is the double sink , that the neighbor gave you!!
The large sink is the way to go. You can always change out when you find the pink hue sink you like so much. Work with what you have at hand.
grey marble sink is a no from me.
The sink upstairs is nice as well. You decide.
The big , deep sink for sure in the laundry room . I have a deep next to my washer and dryer .
Hello Alla and Sergi. I think all the sinks would look beautiful but I would choose the longer one. Best of luck!
I prefer the double only because we cook a lot and need the extra space for dishes. But you should do what you love most!
The white large ceramic sink would be better for your kitchen it will be more practical it's lovely ❤
Love the traditional ceramic long sink as not only goes with your color scheme but you’ll be grateful to have 2 sinks to work with side by side. Sounds like sinking decision marble verses porcelain. Make sure it is not too small. Gold to see your rock stair assistant Cherie.
The sunset was amazing!!!
She said she is having a dishwasher....so I think she needs more space in the small kitchen.
Marble sink will be the best option ; is much more special.
I think you will be very happy to have a double sink in the kitchen. You can get ceramic repair kits that work really well on chips and scratches. You can even re-surface it but will need a special type of paint.
Amazing progress Alla and Sergei. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love the new sink! It needs serious consideration.
I love 😅all the sinks …..lol Chips add character……You can never have enough sinks …..too funny 😁
I think the double sink would look really nice. ❤❤
If you have a dishwasher, you can manage with a smaller sink. Also depends on the space, window and view. Oh and access to the window.
All the sinks are fine but I would do the Marble.
The marble sink in my opinion! It’s gonna last for centuries!
Love all the sinks, whatever you choose will be beautiful. Wondering whether you will lose some light having the bench across the window 🤔
Double sink in laundry and smaller sink or marble in the kitchen. Much more aesthetically pleasing.
Double sink will be very useful in the kitchen, also it has only the one chip, whereas the smaller ceramic sink has so many, many chips. And if you put the smaller sink, later you will say to yourselves, oh, we should have put the larger sink.
Definitely the marble sink. I think you’d be unhappy if you used the other ones. Follow your dreams 🥰🥰
I love the sunsets ❤
Would definitely have the double sink for the kitchen if you have space xxxx
Large double sink... You would get alot of use in multiple ways. Lots of room
I have a old fashion ceramic sink in my antique Kitchen which I love 💗 in my Antique Home 🏡
I would take both sinks and place each in the space to see how it feels to you then perhaps you can get a better idea as to whether or not you would prefer the marble one.
Double Sink ! I love all of them it was hard picking one ….
