It's utterly ridiculous that this guy heals like 30 hp per fight while also reducing all damage to almost 0 (my +10 L!Veronica dealt 3 damage to him with her special... Like what?) all while dealing stupid amounts of damage. I hate the fact that I'll be facing him in the future.

It's funny how years later the one thing that can easily help stop Emblem Ike is the same old sacred seal that was used to stop Brave Ike. Guess some things don't change after all, lmao!
Ike is such a threat. If you aren't using AOE, Hardy Bearing, stopping his healing, chipping his hp away, or if your team is just not strong enough, there's nothing you can do against that fridge

I have mad respect for you PM1, for really taking the time and effort to find a f2p solution to beat the infernal and abyssal difficulty in today's day and age of feh where power creep and new skills are just insane. Much appreciated :)
The map is actually pretty simple, but Emblem Ike can hit like a truck. Even with Hardy Bearing, you still have to think carefully cause one wrong move could ruin your strategy if your team isn't strong enough. Though I will say pm1, it's quite interesting seeing the red fridge "respawn" after defeating him, lol.
I've refined Reginn's Lyngheiðr (and Peony's Flower of Joy) and with the weapon refine she's able to take out the Abyssal Assassin's Strike ninja at 4:50 , btw
Tbh, I didn't find the map challenging at all, but that doesn't mean Emblem Ike isn't a threat since he could inflict a lot of damage. It was actually pretty easy to avoid him while taking out the enemies, then use my strongest unit with hardy bearing to take him out.
A!Ced is turning out to be one of the best units I've ever sparked. He easily nukes all these recent units with special based DR, and E!Ike is no exception. I used him along with D!Ephriam, R!Plumeria, and B!Seliph to one turn auto clear this abyssal map.
I followed your guide because this one was impossible for me but was unable to beat it because I don't have Peony (I don't like Heroes' OCs so I mostly turn them into manuals. I also didn't have Reginn but I happened to have one on my reserves). So I tried replacing Peony with other dancers, I got better results with Attuned Peony although still unable to beat it. I desperately switched Seidr for Rearmed Sonya and I don't even know how but I miraculously did it. Even though this felt like borrowing a recipe and changing it completely, thank you so much ahahah!
Im happy im not the only one with a +10 super premium skill team that could not even scratch Ike. He really turn around the tanking game with how much work around you need to kill him. Normally if you kill the tank allies, many of their effects are nullified but for him you need to preparation before the battle. Thank for the guide.

Insane clears. Tried multi comps for infernal and abyssal and I figured AOE was the best way to deal with Ike. I managed to defeat him with a +0 Brave Gullveig with Blazing Wind and LnD seal plus Ploy support from Rearmed Plumeria. I couldn’t kill him with a base kit +0 Winter Edelgard, but I didn’t try Hardy bearing on her. Still don’t think she can do it, but man this Ike is just too dummy thicc with his huge badonbadonk
I just made the abyssal with w!yunaka (fatal smoke) and Rearmed grima tanking while fatal on Ike I was wondering if you made a tutorial for this since I noticed this is easily the currently hardest abyssal. I'm flabbergasted by knowing now that the answer was just a squirrel and one of the oldest seals on the book lol. GG and thanks as always

Ended up using L!M!Alear to face tank him while I used L!Camilla to provide DR Pierce and L!Lilina to cheese splash damage. Wish I was smart enough to try Hardy Bearing.
I used an engage team to fight emblem Ike and ivy managed to finish the job via doing a ton of damage on him since he allows a forced desperation. I also tried a run with mythic Lumera and she has a great matchup against him due to the scowl skill
If you don't have the drive atk 2 sacred seal, and you only have drive atk 1 then a +1 merged Ratatoskr can work just as well. Tested myself successfully because I couldn't afford drive atk 2.
After an hour of trial and error (and luck), I was able to beat it with an old technique: staff user with Pain+ and savage blow! The team: Brave Veronica: the MVP. Has Pain+, Savage Blow C slot and seal. L! Linina: The AOE user. Provides Canto 1. L! Robin: Has Mystic Boost seal. A great support and bulky unit thanks to Grand Strategy. Duo Azura: dancer. Strategy: Robin tanks hits and lure foes into positions. Then, Veronica is sent to attack foes that are 2 spaces away from Ike, which hurts him each time for 24 damage. Lilina is used to kill any foes that can reach Azura or Veronica, and Azura grants another action to one of the other 3 members on the team. Finally, once Veronica has chipped away most of Ike's health, Lilina goes in for the final blow. Fun fact: Originally, the plan was to have Veronica use Gravity and have Lilina damage Ike with her AOE special. However, Ike kept reducing the damage and it was doing too little against him. So, I went back to the drawing board and noticed Pain+. For fun, I decided to try it out. I kid you not, after only one attempt, I got lucky with my positioning and was able to beat this map! Eventually, after trying it again multiple times I was able to develop the strategy in the paragraph above.
It was funny throwing my own base copy of Emblem Ike up the middle and basically watching him play Rock-Paper-Scissors with himself til one of them finally died
Because that's only 12 pre-dmg before combat and you make him proc the special, which he's completely reliant on. If he has to face either of the premier pre-dmg nukes (L!Cam & V!Lyon), they'll chunk him for 34 pre-dmg on their own and backed up by Veyle which shuts down his special completely, he'll just be a damage sponge.
Easiest Abyssal in the game rn. /s I cleared this thanks to you. I attempted it multiple times with my normal team and Ike keeps clapping Holiday Dimitri, Godlance B!Lucina, Elimine, and DC(M) Lucia before viewing this guide. Lmao
To add on, this should be viral for future reference and the LITERALLY only unclearable abyssal mode map FEH has to offer and prove why IS needs to play test their maps before release.
Yeah Emblem Ike is definitely one of those units you'll have to whittle down slowly with passive damage he can't block (Pain+, Savage Blow, Flared Sparrow, etc.) because trying to take all that head on is basically a death sentence. Medeus would be a good partner for him to not worry about post combat splash damage though.
In my experience, the problem with this map surprisingly wasn't the big bad himself, though don't get me wrong, he was not easy to kill, it was the reinforcements piling up all over the map much like with his Paralogue, it was him crowding in the mess making it more scary to deal with.
Yeah, I already hate him. It took me so many tries to finally beat him. Thank you Hardy Berring and Ratatoskr's terrain for letting Corrin deal with this fridge. Needless to say, I'm not looking forward to seeing him in Arena.
AoE's are the common choice. So people will have to draft Gotoh to counter that. What's the next step? Scowl effects, which prevents him from using his special at all. And pre-dmg will still nearly kill him unless he's hp-stacked via multiple legends or mythics on a team.
I hated this map in Engage on hard mode. Especially when training... at first. Then I started using my tanks as walls and the weaker units to attack at a distance. This worked well unless a thoron mage or longbow sniper shows up
So surprised you actually got it! He us terrible, i really hope Winter Edelgard can take him because I sm so worried for that Null C... The map was so easy, the only problem is him... I hope the solution for the free precombact damage is not flar DR because this is disgusting...
Tried to use Xmas Edel and Dimi, without Hardy Bearing, but they can't kill him. Switched to blue bow Igrene and hit him with 2 AoE. Took some planning though and proper positioning though.

Duo Lyon with active special (i use opened domain NY Askr) can easily kill him 🗿

Seiðr was also able to take out the Armored Beacon [Charge] Knight at 5:50 by herself for some reason as well

Ike may be the Radiant Emblem, but even his muscles are no match for the F2P Goddesses (with the Hardy Bearing Seal, of course).

I was struggling with this, but Nabata Irene just one shots him. She can one shot the infernal one too but she needs her Harmonic skill for that.

Now I'm a believer.

I just used two savage blow 3s with ninja sanaki to chip his health down from 81 to 4.

dude is a beast, he also heal alot after combat, i feel cheap when using aoe and can not face to face him
