I'm in my 50s and I feel the same way. I had plenty of sports cars from the 70s and up. I chose the M340i for its refinement and dual personality. It goes from Dr. Jeykl to Mr Hyde with a push of a button.
Had a similar decision to make, it was between the m340 or the g80 m3 I went with the m340, more comfortable, less stiff chassis( obviously) and still a quick car with a great sounding engine
I’m having the same exact dilemma, but I feel maybe the m340i will be more reliable? I get the m2 will be less comfy but idc about that. It’s about how reliable it’ll be for me

The m340i is not an M car whereas the M2 is actually made by M division.

I'm having a hard time choosing between a 2021 m340i and a 2020 M2.
I love them both.

Plenty f chassis M2 a have the n54 does that make them also not M cars?
@@kingmusa8618A M car is a bit more than the motor. The M2 does not have a N54, it has a N55 and either the CS or competition of that gen has the S55.
