How about if a drive went from 2tb to 959mb and now it is showing up as uninitialized but I know it has data on it and it was my boot drive- im trying right now to do a scan of the vhdx file that I had mounted on a computer works but so far its only 1/3 done is that normal and its been more than 16 hours and showing up as Linux does the file system for those files usually show up as Linux because the drive backup external drive works fine hope you can help thank you do you know if test disk can scan a specific folder or file or even restore point/backup
@Freebooter I'm asking if this drive can be completely repaired, the vhdx file that I mounted on windows is showing 1 /3 done which one has better chances of recovery one is an older version of the drive and on is a newer one
@Freebooter it says raw in disk management but the drive shows Linux in test disk for the virtual disk i attached on to the computer and for the other 2tb it used to be mbr ntfs and then when the drop in bytes happened it says it hasn't been initialized is that mean its dead haven't tried this one in test disk yet
thank you for this video
You are very welcome!
