This dude blew 2 head coaching jobs in the NFL, first with Denver and then with the Raiders. I'd be super surprised if any team ever give him another opportunity.
That Dante dude is legendary In my area. When they came to ply the bills he was seen around orchard Park bars with girls that were 10s abd at most 21 years of age. Dudes a legend
That makes no sense whatsoever the guy is from California and coached on the Patriots for more than 30 years and is an offensive line coach he has no connection to Buffalo or Orchard Park why would he be a celebrity in Buffalo to the extent that 21 year old girls know who he is he was born in 1948 are you sure you are thinking of the right guy that doesn't really seem to add up I would bet any money we could park outside a mall in Buffalo and ask 100 girls or women of any age if they know who he is not 1 will know you really believe the Patriots retired o-line coach was at one time the most popular guy in Buffalo? That must be some good bud you were smoking when you made this comment
Now it makes sense. You spent so much time with Bill you started mimicking him. Like when you accepted the Colts head coaching job then declined the day you were to sign your deal.
We’ve a number of stories of players being nervous with Bill but it’s great that we can hear that his coaching staff was also nervous around him 😂 nobody knew what to expect and everybody was scared to get it wrong
Bill is telling him we’re not advancing the 🏈 enough to get first downs but we are throwing it. So one run to every 3 throws would be be how I would see it.
Bill could’ve been trying to light a fire under the Oline and run game coaches. Saying, “I don’t think you’re good enough to run on this team”, so coaches and players can get to work on being a better running team. Or he could legitimately just want less run calls because passing is easier with the Tom lol who knows with Bill
Give him a tv- job/commentating,......great voice, personality,......this is the most I've ever heard him speak in the last 20/years.....(I'm a Pats fan)...!!?
lol they would make easy conversations hard because they were so intense - just ask bill the range of run percentage and tell Dante it’s bills orders and get his ok before the game it’s not that crazy intense it’s football still
I wanna know why the coaches look so damn out of shape all the time. My junior high in high school coaches were all out of shape telling us what the hell we should be doing. It’s hilarious. The lowest type of vermin is a high school coach football coach that is he should tell all of his players is not gonna make the NFL to go home because their buddies gonna be tore up for playing high school football
@@TheSphearlSiren I didn’t play other than some serious tackle without pads. My son played high school and one year college. I’ve watched NFL since 1972. I’m just saying there are lots of bad NFL coaches. Some so bad they never got another shot after their first hire.

You gotta love podcasts. 30 years ago we didn't get these stories.
Isn't it fantastic? We NEVER got this stuff, except in the rare autobiography.
10 years ago we didn’t get them. It’s rad to get this much inside info from guys that actually were there and aren’t just overpaid ESPN talking heads.

Bill's the kind of leader who comes by and says "I got an idea. So how's that sit with you? Let me know what you think" and walks away.
This was against the Ravens. I went to one game where Brady set the record for passes in a game. I believe 44 passes - now I know why.
That can't be the record because drew bledsoe was 45 for 70 before.
Yeah idk how that’s a record when the patriots had 115 offensive possessions in the superbowl
Dante was in an extended golf trip 😆!

This is the most real and relaxed I've ever seen him. Maybe if he didn't try to be some kinda mini Bill, he could have been a more successful coach.
Hes just not cut out to be head coach.
He’s a great OC. Nothing wrong with that.
"i still dont know what i'm doing here"
His impersonation is great too lol
Thats a pretty decent Belichick impression

I love how everyone impersonates bill the same exact way…it’s like any job.

McDaniels acquitts himself nicely in this format.

PTSD trigger as a Raider fan
It’s means at the very least 2 to 1 pass to run until you see a new development or hear otherwise from bill.
