These videos are all like 2-4 years old they used to be on ESPN PLUS on Peyton’s show back then, i forget what it was called but I remember i bought it just to watch his series. I remember quite a few of these videos including this.
For real. That big nerd was definitely a big part of his game. Being able to call and change the play on the fly, was really amazing to see/hear the nerd at work.
I've been a Broncos fan for life. I feel so lucky that he was our QB for 4 years. That final year, the Super Bowl season, was incredibly difficult and incredibly humbling for Peyton. He was dealing with an extremely painful injury that affected his performance. Gary Kubiak pulled him from the lineup and put him away from the spotlight so that he could heal and recover. He came back at halftime during the final game of the season to lead the team back to victory. The rest is history, but he had the worst statistical season of his career that year. I remember Gary Kubiak saying after the Super Bowl how incredibly proud he was of Peyton. That stuck with me. Peyton was humbled, he dealt with physical and mental pain, and when he came back, he knew he had to be a game manager so that the team could win it all. That's more amazing to me than the record season. That's why he's one of the greatest to ever take the field.
It scared people so much passing Tds were reduced to 4pts Even today I disagee.. until we start seeing 10+ QBs have 40+ passing scores then I might accept that
Peyton has always been my 2nd favorite quarterback behind Marino and. I never knew how much Peyton liked marino until recently. Peyton is definitely a first class football player and person. My favorite game was the 5th game of the 1999 season when the Dolphins played the colts in Indianapolis. The old man showing the Young gun how it's done. Much respect Peyton 🤘🏻✌🏼👊🏻
Peyton is the man , been a huge fan from Tennessee to my beloved Colts, sorry about that and into the Denver days. Appreciate your whole body of work so far, keep it up and we all enjoy the entertainment you brought to this generation of fans
In 2013, due to a technical glitch during the draft, I ended up with Manning and brady. Debated all week who to start that week, and went with brady. Brady had like 1 td and not many yards, peyton...7 touchdowns... And I lost when I would have dominated had I started manning. And that game loss kept me from making the playoffs. Still upsets me to this day lol
That was the revenge game against Baltimore, with Baltimore players posters all over Mile High, should have been a no brainer. It was pretty obvious that Peyton was going to go off
I won my league that year. I'm a Broncos fan, and had a total homer team. By the end of the season, I had picked up nearly every Bronco off waivers. Made it a bit tricky during the bye week. But points galore all year.
I’d like to thank 2012 Peyton for helping me have the greatest qb rotation ever in fantasy, we were a league where you got to keep one player from the season before and I had cam newton, I picked up Brady late and since it was mannings first year in Denver I got him with my last pick. Manning, Brady, Newton, I was unstoppable.
The fact that it took until the 17-game era for Mahomes to beat Manning's single season record is impressive, especially because it took a few years even then.
"Wow you've done your research I'm impressed" "Yeah well I don't have a job so plenty of time on my hands" Lmao Peyton after football is amazing. Respected him while he played but love the guy now. Brings some good energy everywhere he goes.
I love how Peyton says, "My goals and your goals are not the same, buddy!" when a fan complained he did not throw enough touchdowns when they won 10-7. Players could care less about Fantasy Football as they play to win the game - not win with stats for any fan's fantasy team. Talk about ridiculous.
Peyton Manning is my idol, first of all. Every year I play fantasy, I always drafted him on my team. Eventually people would also take him first round and I always had to trade my way to getting him.
As an Oakland native who lived next to the Kings X tavern my whole childhood, pretty cool to learn the history that place has regarding fantasy football! Pretty sure it’s a tiki bar now lol. 2006 was my first year of fantasy and I had Payton and LT. I’ve been hooked ever since 😂
Geez, I thought I was an original FF player 35 years ago, when I had never heard about it before then, nor did anyone I knew. 1963? Crazy! We used to have to wait until the next day's box scores to add up who won, and there was only one format -- standard of course. Computers were the greatest FF gift ever, then came the internet. All drafts in-person and those clips were so spot on!
In 1969, Andy Mousalimas, an original creator of GOPPPL (Greater Oakland Professional Pigskin Prognosticators League) and participant in the inaugural draft, brought the game to his Oakland sports bar, the King's X, where the first public fantasy football league was founded. Kings X is now a Tiki Bar called the Kona Club - Enjoyed many a drink when it was Kings X as well as the Kona! Usually after a walk/picnic in the Piedmont Funeral Services and Mountain View Cemetery Memorial !
Loved the ending. Your comedic timing, while seen, is still underrated. I'm curious what your fantasy score was for the Jon Gruden, come from behind, Bucs game.
I would PPV a live stream event where Peyton, Eli and other NFL greats get together and draft their fantasy football teams. It would be entertaining, provide a players’ perspective and great opportunity to raise money for charity. Make it happen!
My dad was in a league back in 1989. They called it armchair football and kept track of everything by hand and had to read the paper to get the yards and receptions and all that stuff.
Imagine being a fantasy owner those times when a ball carrier intentionally slid SHORT of the goal line, to ensure their team kept the ball and the lead to the end of a game. Your emotions suddenly swing from elation to anger. Sure they won the game. But did they even think about you?!?
I love Peyton Manning. I hated him when he played, just because he was so good, and wasn’t on my team and I never got him in fantasy. I really hope he’s really this cool and nice when the cameras aren’t on.
Ahh yesss. Every Chiefs lifer relishes that 2015 Broncos game that marked the retirement of the Payton Manning plague - from the Chiefs playoff losses when he was at Indy, to snubbing the Chiefs in free agency then Broncos dominance. The Chiefs finally got rid of him, and on their own terms.
8:32 ❤ It's just known as nathan peterman's game??? That wasn't even the only time he did that. That was just the time that josh allen Became josh allen... Never forget
Absolutely Amazing amazing videos sharing dear friend 🙏 Really enjoyed watching my favourite channel of all times ❤❤❤❤ Super big big like thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍 See you again keep intouch ❤️
I only played Fantasy Football ONCE and I won the whole league because I drafted both Tom Brady and Randy Moss that first year. absolutely crushed everyone
First year I ever played was manning’s 55 TD season and the manager in our league didn’t really think about it and made touchdowns and yards for QBs weighted as much as anyone else, needless to say the guy who drafted Peyton absolutely creamed everyone and won it all, I’ll never forget the game petition threw 7 TDs, that was when we all realized that this was probably a wrap 😂
Is anyone going to comment about the young kid from the future @ 1:50 holding a mini video cam?! I'm sure it's something else, but seriously, tell me it doesn't look like he's holding one! 🤣
He’s holding a drink Edit: Alright maybe not a drink the first time I watched I went to look for this comment then after commenting I watched a few more times and yea you know I think it is a video camera. They did have them then so maybe it is idk lol.
8:13 I know someone who had Peyton Manning: -6.60 Shane Vereen: 2.80 Antonio Andrews: 0.80 Brandon Marshall: 8.30 Sammy Watkins: 1.40 Martellus Bennett: 1.80 Tyler Eifert: 2.60 Mason Crosby: 4.00 Broncos DEF: 1.00 Total: 15.90 And his bench was: Matt Ryan: Bye Andre Johnson: Bye Anquan Boldin: Bye Darren Sproles: 3.40 Ladarius Green: Bye Marvin Jones Jr.: 3.60 Saying it was a rough week would be an understatement 😂
In 06 or 07 I had the number 1 pick and took LT. It was Adrian Petersons rookie year and I got him super cheap. I think I may have also had Marvin Harrison. Anyway it was the first year of the league and I smoked the world. Waited 6 more years for another championship lol
Peyton's show is always fun, clever dude, best thing to happen to modern NFL entertainment.
The entire Omaha team is top tier
I love that Peyton is doing these vignettes exploring the whole nature of the NFL and all the cool things about it.
What a great family! The Manning’s are terrific.
He is like the Merlin Olsin of footb......oh wait.....
Please this is made up junk! They didn’t have any fantasy football in any decades previously! Stop lying

"I don't have a job" LOL - class act AND hilarious.
Peyton is as entertaining off the field as he was on it.. Still a 🐐
Peyton is a master of comedy - by far the most difficult acting of all. Just like being a legendary QB. A rare achievement 🏆
Peyton is hilarious, with his understated sense of humor. He has great comedic timing as well.

that guy peyton was talking to is really well spoken, i enjoyed listening to him
Randy Moss was my FAVE ALL TIME fantasy player. That year he had in NE man! Every week just about he scored a TD or at least had 75 yards.
And yet I had the nerve to bench him against the Jets and Revis because I knew he'd be shut down -- that's how good Revis was.
Peyton is still (& WILL ALWAYS BE) THE Classiest of the entire Manning Family! 🍻👏🏻🍻
I don’t have a job line was hilarious 😂
