They really do need to fix the delay issues with their guests. it starts to become grating and annoying. You know you wanna hear what Bill is saying but its so jarring when its 'stop and start, stop and start' . They have a billion dollars, get some faster communication, or fly him into one of the studios

I think if they did this on Zoom there would zero delay. I think they are using old school broadcast method to do this. Zoom delay is actually non-existent at this point.
I love these guys but that was rough, why have guests just to talk over them and talk to your brother. Talk to the group or just stop talking so much and listen. You got Bill! Peytons trying too hard and almost yelling. Relax Peyton, you dont need to control the show :) Im not at Pats fan but I love that Bill is chilling, watching and not doing generic ESPN basic level

@@juanortuno565 when he's in coach mode, his #1 priority is to not give away information. One of the Patriots big advantages in the way they ran things is the opponents had no idea what game plan the Patriots were readying.
The result was that Bellichick came off as and **shole. Understandable why a lot of fans didn't like him. But he was just trying to win.

Just taking a shot early in the game where you can make for it even if it goes bad. It's 12:00 in the 1st quarter. He'll probably be making that pass a lot this year, just like they did it last season when he led the league in 20+ yds passes. And in the 4th quarter when it's 3rd & 2, where they'll be covering, short or deep? Whatever they do, do the opposite.

Love Bill giving Joe Gibbs a shout-out. Joe Gibbs is by far the most underrated head coach in NFL history. Still the only coach to win 3 Super Bowls with 3 different Quarterbacks. Not to mention all 3 of those QBs were just average. He never had a Brady, Montana, Mahomes, or Manning. He won 3 Superbowls with 3 different average quarterbacks. That's incredible. Every other high level coach had 1 amazing Quarterback. Not Gibbs. He did it with pure coaching and a well rounded team. Hail to The Redskins!

In Bill's defense the delay was ENORMOUS so it made things difficult. They couldn't hear each other talking until like 3 seconds later

The country is big, it's a day full of travel at least to get to location and back, especially East to West Coast. I think it's fine like that and if you got a guest from the area of one of the two hosts you can invite them to one of the studios.

People blaming the audio, it’s not the audio. Think about this, what’s heavier? Audio data or video data? The video got delayed therefore the audio was still on time but the video was delayed.

He is alright Matt but he is on the best team in the league and his stats are inflated because he's got good protection and great players at all skill positions. Similar to Dak Prescott who has had an elite Offensive Line his whole career pretty much.

ESPN is so stuck in the past. This broadcast should have basically no latency issues, but because they aren't using modern tools like Zoom or Discord and have this "overly produced" method, you get these delays. Meanwhile Twitch+YT streamers living in their basement somehow can be in a live chat with 6 different speakers and have NO LATENCY issues.

Imagine if the official NFL account released a video with two of the best quarterbacks in the recent past interviewing one of the most successful coaches in the history of their league and the quality of production would be worse than the average You Tube video. That would be pretty embarrassing and unnecessary wouldn’t it? But I guess that would never happen anyway because it would be pretty easy to make a decent production for a league as big as the NFL

Whoever was in charge as exec producer, directing, or in charge of the technology used needs to be held accountable, not to say needs to be replaced (aka, fired). There will always be a lag issue whenever there are remote elements and different tech being used on a broadcast, but there are ways to sync things up that can be done prior to minimize lags.
Seems like they were trying to fix the lag issues with Belichick’s feed mid broadcast but ended up making things worse, and eventually unwatchable.
