If everybody’s interested, I’ll put a list of what I’ve done to this two-stroke scrambler this was a fun bike.it was built for drag racing.this video is on race has I did have it on meth Unfortunately I no longer on this bike. I put a lot of time and effort, but Rick Ritter cycles. He did all the motor work and he is very knowledgeable on scramblers.
How light do you think you got it? My friend had a 4x4 scrambler 400 that I did some performance work on, shaved the head, ported the cylinder mildly, and put different weights and springs in the clutches... It hauled ass. It was extremely heavy though, with weak brakes, and suspension that was just terrible (the rear wasn't that bad, but those struts (stock) are awful)... If you could take like 75 lbs off it, improve the brakes, and somehow not feel like your wrists were going to be snapped from rough terrain... I think it would be be a real cool quad. So many other rigs out there are so much lighter, better suspension, and quite honestly faster (in stock or mildly modified form).
What was built in the 90's that's better for a "fast" 4x4 at the time? I can't think of anything else that offered the performance of a 400L with 4 wheel drive?

It was the big bore kit shaved head stroked out.think it was the 88 mm Was running race fuel This bike was built for drag racing This was a super fun bike. I wish I still had it put a lot of time and money.
I sure do miss this atv I put a lot time in it. I did the the big bore kit with Rick Ritter.I think it was a 44 mm carb With AAen pipe.with clutch kit The swing arm I did my self I add 2 inches Probably making 100hp on race gas

Why did you cut the belt cover?
Rebel Nate he removed all of the cooling system for the clutches so he just cut a hole in the cover to keep me cool
If you take the time to make a video showing exactly what you did to lose all the weight on the ATV I'll PayPal you some money. Very serious

Why in the world would somebody cut a hole in the clutch cover you had any water you’re screwed
Had a drag clutch kit.try to keep it cool.this bike was built just for drag racing.it was lowered and extended 2 inch

Yours might be a 500 4 stroke? This is the 400 2 stroke. BIG difference in sound.
