DON´T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE!! RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - Otherside [GUITAR COVER + TAB] by Alex de Benito ROCK FACTORY GUITARLESS BACKING TRACK + TAB: • RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS ...
My journey with this cover/tab: "That's weird. He played an A Major in the prechorus. Should be A Minor." >> "How could this guy be 100% accurate on everything *except* 1 simple chord?" >> "He is too good to make that kind of mistake. Let me search for the isolated guitar track." Wouldn't you know it, Frusciante played an A Major. Learned a quick lesson about assuming you know better than somebody else 😅
I did that too, but i didn't hear this major third on the A chord to be honest. As far as i can hear he just hides the third of the chord completely and plays only the notes A and E, which would be a A5 i guess. He plays strings 5 and 4 on the seventh fret and strings 2 and 1 on the fifth fret, and mutes the third string. Try that for yourself.
That's awesome. I hope you're still playing and having a good time. The best 2 tips imo are consistency: practice practice practice. And two, learn atleast surface level music theory, ( basic terms, the notes in an octave, major and minor chords for each note, etc etc...)
Nice cover and it's sweet that you've added the tabs also. More videos should be like this, makes it easier to learn a song and also learn some technique by looking how diffrent parts are played ! Keep it up !
Good job! Those A major though (the first one in bar 24)! I've seen others cover it with a power chord, but if you wanna put a third on the chord, its an A minor.
True, most covers play A minor, but the original song plays A major. Check it out in this link with the original guitar track, at second 0.46 th-cam.com/video/Oshv3QdyD5Q/w-d-xo.html
@@RockFactoryMusica You are absolutely right! And I hear it on the original now, as well! Awesome! Excellent job, I underestimated your ears/effort! Thanks for the response!
is this a different tempo? i am trying to sync this video on mute and a guitar karaoke playing to play while watching the tabs and this one seems faster
Amazing tab.I've been training a lot using this video the song is not difficult but many different cool parts makes it difficult to play without errors.
💯 great vid I'm doing songster song of this. It only has the tabs I had to see how it's played so I got you. Thanks for the visual representation I was stuck on the bar the g cord. Plus it's on accoustic 😕
True, most covers play A minor, but the original song plays a picardy third, so plays A major. Check it out in this link with the original guitar track, at second 0.46 th-cam.com/video/Oshv3QdyD5Q/w-d-xo.html

the bit at the end is incredible but like at 2:45 area i think more of a full stroke not just two strings
Is there any reason why Frusciante never played the outro solo live?
Helpful
