When I paint yellow I try to start with a layer of white, off white, or a light grey. These all seal the surface, they are generally more opaque, and they will all reflect light back through the yellow so it shows up better. And finally it takes less yellow to do the job. I used a tri-fold cardboard project display(the kind kids used for reports and science fairs) to make a DM screen for 5th ed when I got started with it. I cut off a piece, that was about a third of the size of board, to make it more manageable. I spray painted it with a couple different colors and then Mod podged printed art to the front and printed 5th ed info to the back. It came out OK. But looking at this gives me lots of ideas on how to make something much better. Thank you for sharing this.

That is awesome. I cheaped out and used a tri-fold menu as my GM screen.

Very very cool. You might consider dry erase or magnetic paint for the back side.

Jim this turned out soooooo well. You oughta consider selling these. Even in super simple unfinished versions. Perhaps as a DIY kit for the user.

I'd have to get permission from Shaun... if enough people were interested, I might reach out to him. They would come unpainted.

@@jktechwriter even designs of your own! Like the hooded DM you put on your notebooks. And yes, unpainted. Unpainted, unglued, nothing fancy. Just panels and hinges.

That's still so cool. It makes me so excited. I remeber seeing the hinges on ur Instagram as a sneek peek.
